They were very good. We had leased a car from the previously and we turned it in. We leased something else. We weren't sure if we were going to buy it or not but they gave us such a good deal. We went over on mileage and they looked the other way. We had 2 due payments and they paid it for us. We had some damage done to the light and we said if you don't charge us for that we will sign.

I have a new Ford F150. After owning it a short while, I discovered that the rear driver side door was not locking. I called San Tan service department and was able to conveniently schedule an appointment. They just happened to be the closest Ford dealership to where I live. I went over at the appointed time, and since I did not need the vehicle that day, left it instead of waiting for it. It was my first visit to San Tan Ford. I was impressed when I pulled up in line and within one minute, someone came to my vehicle to log it in. They escorted me to the service desk where they have several service reps to handle the incoming service work. They were very polite and professional. Since I had called the day before, they had a record of the problem. What I thought was unique is that once you are assigned a service rep, they work as a team with the service technician to resolve the issue. Now this is my first experience with them and it was not a serious problem, but when I picked my vehicle up, I was given a multi page service report with both the service rep and service techs input. Previous to that, I was given an update over the phone from the service rep. It was obvious to me that San Tan is interested in doing a great job and earning the customers business. in this case, it was a warranty repair, so there was no cost to me.  Although I was picked up and did not need to wait, I discovered their waiting room. Outfitted with comfortable chairs, TV and a real deli plus vending machines next to the waiting room!!!

Day 1.  When I dropped it off they told me they would call when they had looked at it.  They did offer me a ride to work and picked me up, but didn't ever call.  I had to find the server writer to find out what as going on.  They hadn't looked at it yet.

Day 2.  They didn't call until the end of the day to let me know that they were looking at it off and on, but weren't having much luck. 

Day 3.  Finally call with a diagnosis at the end of the day...melted Catilytic converters.  They weren't sure if replacing them would solve the problem though and didn't have any idea about how to test if it would.  Instead they wanted to charge me another $250 to remove the valve covers and do a manual compression test.  At this point I was tired of waiting and dealing with the incompetence, so I told them I would just pay the $99 diagnosis fee and take it.

Day 4.  I took my truck to another shop and the mechanic, was able to do a simple test (removed some O2 sensors on the exhaust) within 2 hours to determine that the blocked exhaust was the problem and the truck would perform normally once that blockage was removed.  They also noted that they could see evidence of an old coolant leak into the exhaust that had probably caused the problem with the cats.  This coolant leak was repaired by San Tan Ford about 6 months back, but their tech never made that connection after looking at it for 2 days.

By the way...when I was at San Tan Ford for the coolant leak repair it took a week because the tech ruined the gasket as he was putting it on the first time and had to redo the work.

After I received the vehicle back, there was a terrible wobbling in the front wheels. When the car got to 70, the shaking was so bad I thought I was going to run off the road. The vehicle did not do this before I had it serviced by San Tan Ford.
Up until this incident, I preferred taking my vehicles to the dealer for service, as they weren't much more expensive than other places, but like the fact they knew everything about the vehicles.
I called the dealer and explained the wobbling issue and their position was, basically, oh well, too bad, not our fault. There was no offer to fix it, look at it, or any other compromise on the situation. They steadfastly refused to take any responsibility for the problem! This is when they lost me as a customer forever.

Full service oil change and tire rotation. They did a good job. I noticed they spilled oil. They are very slow. Several time they said not much longer....Good thing my wife planed this on her day off because it took almost a half the day. Next time I will just leave the truck with them and come back.

We have been taking our car (a 2008 Ford) to  San Tan Ford's Quick Lane Service Center for years now.    John MacKenzie is the consultant who works with us.   Making an appointment for service is easy and if the mechanics find something that needs fixing, John informs us and relates our options.  No one at  San Tan Ford's Quick Lane Service Center has ever made my wife  feel uncomfortable taking our car for service without me.    I highly recommend San Tan Ford's Quick Lane Service Center.
