+ -1 moreThe plumber wouldn't give me a quote on the price to start with. He started to fix the master bathroom shower but didn't finish since it was more difficult than he had anticipated. Instead, he told me that I needed to fix my master bathroom sinks for some other issues even though they worked properly and didn't need to be fixed. He fixed them and charged me for it even though I didn't want them to be fixed. They seemed to charge at least twice as much as any other company. I do NOT recommend using them.
Description of Work: Master bathroom shower was not giving out water.

+ -1 moreThey were able to trace the leak back to the shower/tub without removing additional drywall (only the moist drywall in the ceiling drywall in the first-floor laundry room). They determined it to be a lack of caulking around the faucet handles and downspout in the tub.
Description of Work: Determine source of a small leak from the shower/tub in the master bathroom on the second floor finding its way into the ceiling drywall in the first-floor laundry room. Repair the leak.

water heater repair
+ -1 moreThe technician came to the house and diagnosed the problem, said it was a complete gas valve failure. He told me the water heater was still under warranty, call the manufacturer and have them overnight the part. He said there was no charge, glad he could help and he was on his way. I did as he told me, received the part the next day and installed it. Problem solved. Always nice to review an honest and friendly company. Any future problems that require fixing, I'm calling these guys first.

I contacted Lawson Family Plumbing on Thursday and on Friday afternoon someone was at my house. The rep who showed up was Darrell, he was very nice and took care of my issue at a more than fair price. I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

+ -1 moreDavid was courteous and efficient. After the repair was completed, Lawson called me up to see if I was pleased with the service. The extra bit of follow up was greatly appreciated by me.
Description of Work: Prior to selling a house, the home inspector indicated that there was a leak in a jetted tub. It was very difficult to find and multiple people denied that there was a leak. David came out and spent a great deal of time with a camera investigating a possible source of the leak. When the camera did not provide any evidence, he used his initiative to stick a pole in the service port with a rag on the end on which proved that there was water leaking somewhere. The inspector indicated that we needed to pull the entire tub. David saved me thousands of dollars by removing a small panel on the side of the tub where he thought the leak was located and repaired it.

+ -1 moreThe installation was very good even with the challenges the plumber had, given the house was built in the 60's with block walls, etc. The only thing is when he turned the water back on, he only turned it on half way and we had to go out and turn it on all the way after we realized we had low water pressure. There were no leaks or anything.

+ -1 moreTony, Lawson plumber, called earlier than expected to see if he could come early. I was available so I said sure. Tony cleaned up the area and after seeing what was there I was sure I could replace the flange myself. Tony wanted to bolt the flange down to make it more secure but that would entail a lot more work. I told Tony we were going to remodel this bathroom in 6 months or so and he gave the option of his recommended fix or the basic fix that I could do. I chose the easier, short term fix and have Lawson back out for the remodel. Tony said no work, no charge.
Description of Work: I called then out for a leaky toilet at the base. I am handy and was going to fix this my self but after removing the toilet and seeing a rusted mess that I was unfamiliar with I called Lawson Family Plumbing.

He cares about his customers and her even put a metal tin under the water heater just in case I had any more leaking problems, so there wouldn't be a huge mess. He is kind, understanding, and very compassionate toward his customers. He is a kind and beautiful soul that makes the world a better place.
