I compared costs of Rose Electric, Flagstaff and PurSolar, Cottonwood. PurSolar cost $100.00 less than Rose Electric. I went with PurSolar and got an appointment right away. Kody came on time, changed the fans out professionally and did a great job in a very reasonable time. I would use PurSolar again for any future electrical needs.

Technician Jeff arrived right on time. Was professional, knowledgeable, and most of all patient, listening to everything I needed and took the time to go over options.

We have used Pur Solar for several upgrades on our ranch. The latest job came in under budget, was completed on time and the site was cleaned up after the work was completed.  As professional as it gets.

Been waiting for months on pricing for upgrades, waiting for months on installation of new equipment, and also waiting for weeks on call back and follow through on recent repair service related issues. Spent 48,000 on a 40 panel system couple years ago and now I can't seem to get any customer service out of Travis and company.
Recently, he responded by email after I answered a Feedback request notice. He responded and made a slew of excuses to address my comments and suggestions, and THEN told me I can use any company I want, so pick one. Basically, he told me to go away.  Seriously?
I responded to his email and asked that he continue servicing my account, but I also called him on the excuses and asked that he fix his lack of customer service. Haven't  heard back.  I sent follow up email, asking for information on my system. Never heard back.
Currently, I have an inverter that's not working and it's been over a month since the problem first started. I recommended this vendor on here a couple of years ago, but buyer beware. If you expect any level of customer service, technical support, pricing or upgrades, or repairs when things fail, this outfit may not be best choice. Find someone who will service you properly after the sale, has the proper salesmanship and customer service skills to run a company and keep clients happy.
I am going to have to look for a new solar vendor now, which was not what I wanted to do. But Travis has left me no choice. Ignoring a client is no way to run a business. I've given him countless changes to right the ship, but today is the end of the road for me.

The customer service Chad showed was exemplary and above and beyond all expectations. Not only did he quickly figure out what the problem and had us up and working in minutes. When we ask what his charge was he said no charge as he had to be in the area anyway. Way to go Chad, we will not forget your good deed and will use you again.

Went great. Punctual, courteous, competent and fairly priced.

I did this better than 5 yrs ago...have two solar (passive) panels for hot water on the roof, that is pumped down to the container and pumped into the Hot water heater..

We have used Pur Solar Inc. / Purinton Electric numerous times over the past 10 years. They are beyond EXCELLENT !!!!!  Prompt, professional, efficient, fair, expert at everything.  One of the best companies we have ever worked with!!!  No job too small or too big.

Their pricing was reasonable, and they were always very nice, congenial, and I have no complaints about them. I would recommend them anybody.

Overall, I give them a B-. Travis, the owner is a decent guy, but his customer service skills are lacking. His crews did a nice job installing everything, but they were not very experienced with the new micro inverter system I wanted installed with the battery backup. They smoked the inverter day 1 and hooked some stuff up wrong. But eventually they got it all working. I had some trouble getting Pur Solar to submit the right paperwork to the local Utility to get my rebates, but we finally got that done after two months of trying. Travis is supposed to show up again today (10-1-2012)  to hopefully finish tweaking the system to work properly with well pump on battery backup. The entire system wasn't balanced properly to all work together - that was partly his fault for not knowing the inverter's limitations and specs and partly my fault for not asking the right questions and getting specs on the well booster pump AC draw. It's been a challenge at times, but overall, they've done a decent job. Could be better on customer service side and electrical knowledge side, but I would still recommend them anyway. Just double check their work and make sure to stay on top of them to get stuff done. They are probably the best choice for solar up here in Northern AZ.  I would use them again. Followup... Travis did show up 10-1-2012 to compete the tweaking of the system to work more efficiently with the battery backup system. It took some time, testing, dead-ends, and extra effort, but Travis really came through and found the pieces needed to make this all work. Not a perfectly smooth project, but after all it, was all-new technology and in the end, it's working the way I wanted it to and needed it to.

Purinton Electric came to my rescue after a call concerning some electrical problems in my new home. These electricians arrived at my home several hours later and fixed the problems. They were friendly, quick and very reasonably priced. I have called them again with another problem. They came quickly and handled the problem. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a fantastic electrician.
