Our initial communication with MJ Parker was good and following that I was contacted on a Thursday by the shipper (Premium Shipping) to expect a call in a ?few? days. I received a call on Monday at 2 pm saying the driver was picking the vehicle up at 3 pm. Wow, one hour to turn it around but I managed. After loading the vehicle I asked the driver when I could expect the vehicle to be dropped off. He said due to where it was going, probably Saturday and I should get a call from his office the day before. Knowing the destination, I felt Friday was a more likely bet. I called my contact on that end and informed them the driver said Saturday but they need to be ready for Friday. On Thursday at 2 pm the shipping office called and said the vehicle would be dropped off that night at 9:30 pm. Not a good time plus its dark and not possible to do a proper vehicle walk around. After some shuffling we arranged someone for the 9:30 pm drop off. Around 9:30 the driver called and said he was late and it would be 11:30 pm which is a totally unacceptable time to deliver a vehicle. Now wait a minute, some people need to sleep and one of my contacts started work about that time. We managed but with a lot of cussing from all of us and making it impossible to inspect the vehicle in the dark. Why not wait till morning beats me. I should have told the driver to come back in the morning. NOTE - I would use this company again only if they did not assign the work to Premium Shipping.

When moving a car across country, it's always tricky to coordinate pick-up and arrival times because you are dealing with "windows" of dates and not exact dates. In this regard Parker's practices are typical of the industry. However, keep in mind that the drivers may call you to pick up the car earlier than the date you specify as the "earliest date available" for pick-up. This happened to me, and I had to rent a car for two days after pick-up. However, little glitches like this are very normal and to be expected. The rest of the experience was mostly fine, with the driver keeping in touch and informing me of estimated arrival date. Delivery took place without a problem, on time. My only complaint is that I received a ticket for an unpaid toll in Florida because my car was the last one on the end of the rig and the automatic camera recorded MY license plate for the violation. Drivers should not be skimping out on tolls regardless.

Everything went fairly well, but at the end of the day I had to pay $50 more than the contracted price. The driver want cash on the barrel and was not aware that the booking agent had committed to the price with no extras. Maybe it is the nature of this particular business that everyone hits you up for extra money, but I really did not care for that.

Great over-all experience with Parker Auto Transport. This was my 1st time shipping an automobile. I choose companies that have excellent ratings with the BBB and/or Angie's List. Parker was rated "A" at both sights along with high ratings at this site. I learned that some of the biggest or most popular car shippers have poor BBB ratings of C- down to F. They're not for me by any stretch. Parker was super from start to finish, eg,fair price, contract details, emails and availability. I never needed to call the Parker office for anything, it was all so seamless. My car's transport was brokered to De Emce trucking out of Michigan. The driver/owner, Don, was friendly, punctual, communicated well and was professional all the way. I can highly recommend Parker Auto Transport and I have very high standards to be met to say that. Parker Auto Transport moved my daughter's car from California to Ohio. I was very concerned about moving her car such a far distance, but it was an incredibly smooth transaction. The car arrived in great shape. I would definitely use them again.

This was by far one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had in my life. This isn't the first time I've shipped my car across the country, so I do have a point of reference for the process. Although things seemed fine in our initial conversations, when the week of my scheduled shipping approach, they became unresponsive, rude, and then left me with no way to ship my car. Though they always said they couldn't give me an exact date, just a window of time, in the they just said: we can't ship it. And they did this literally a few days before I needed it shipped because I was flying from Connecticut to California. And to say they were rude about it doesn't even begin to describe it. A truly repulsive way of doing business.

It went very well. They delivered it here 5 days after they picked it up from Michigan. They did the job as they said they would. They did the job well and there was no problems. I was very pleased.

Parker Auto Transport LLC were excellent. The price was no problem, they delivered on time, and it was great. I set it up online and my husband met up with the truck at a large parking lot nearby. It was quick, easy and no problem at all.

I had called her when researching companies to ship my wife's car but we chose someone that seemed like a better deal--turned out it wasn't because of damage to the vehicle. When the time came to ship my car, she was the first person I thought to contact. Setting it up and paying was easy. The difficult part comes when there is a discrepancy between the price expected by actual transport driver and the price negotiated with Joanne. Understand that she is paid for arranging transport through a third party and you will not have any unrealistic expectations. Everything besides the price discrepancy went smoothly.

pick up and delivery was on time as agreed

We researched transport companies onthe Internet. We read reviews and decided to go with this company. The had good references and were in the slightly above middle price range. We contacted them, discussed the process and scheduled the dates we needed. Like I said earlier, they picked up our car, loaded it up, and delivered it where we asked. They were slightly behind schedule because of a huge snowstorm, but other than that, it went without a hitch.

This was the return trip for the car. The outbound shipper was a disaster (transport broke down in TN for 3 days and no one notified us) so we were very leery of the entire industry for the return trip. Parker turned out to be the complete opposite of the outbound experience. Their price was cheaper by a few hundred dollars (gas price had gone UP from when car was transported out to CA), driver was on time at both ends and gave adequate notification in advance of pick up and drop off. Language is a problem if our experience is typical. Drivers on both shipments (remember different companies) had heavy Slavic accents making phone calls a bit challenging to understand.

Overall, just fine. Ms. Parker (the broker) was communicative and easy to get hold of. The mover took a little time to get started but delivered my car on time and in good shape.

Found company on internet. Got estimate and arranged for pick up on given date in Spokane. Met driver to load car onto carrier. Three days later met driver in Palm Desert to off load car and pay balance to drive as promised.

Car was delivered promptl with no problems. Very satisfied with the company and would not hesitate using them again.

The service experience was very good.

I was trying to pay the vehicle transportation company, and it turned into a exercise in frustration. It wasn?t a bad experience, just frustrating. I am an executor to an estate. The estate?s vehicle is being inherited by someone several states away. I was able to send the initial $100 deposit via regular check. The estate only has a checking account; it does not have a credit card as the estate is to be in existence for less than one year (I hope). For the remaining balance of $400, I had limited choices. The first, and primary mode of payment, was a cashier?s check made out to the driver. I would not know the driver until the last minute, which I understand. However, that would give me little time to have the cashier?s check made out to the driver, then over night it or two-day mail it to the receiver of the car to give to the driver upon delivery. LeAnn explained to me that the driver could pick up at any time, meaning I could not set pick up for earlier in the week in order to make sure the cashier?s check got to the inheritor prior to delivery and prior to the weekend. I asked for an earlier in the week pickup. As it stood, I was more than likely going to have to take some vacation time from my job to run to the bank, then to FedEx to get the check sent over night. LeAnn said she would put a note stating the customer wanted an earlier in the week pick up date but that my request might cause the next available driver to pass me by. While I understand the First In/First Out concept, this was frustrating to me. The second option was to send a blank cashier?s check to the inheritor ahead of time. As the executor, I found this too risky as I was sending a blank cashier?s check to someone whom I had never met to be given to someone whom I had never met. The final option was to pay by credit card, but that would cost the estate an extra 4% or $16. Since the estate didn?t have a credit card, and since I felt that each direction I turned, paying was complicated, I finally offered to pay for the bill with MY credit card. I would have the estate reimburse me. The 4% or $16 was much more amendable to me than having to take an hour?s vacation, run to the bank, then run to FedEx. I told LeAnn that I was just trying to pay her and could she help me do that. She offered to give me the owner?s number. I had already made my mind up to just get this over with, so I told her that was ok, I could give her my credit card number. She responded that she could give me the owner?s number, and I could talk to the owner. I again said I didn?t need to, could I pay her? She repeated for a third time that she could give me the owner?s number. I asked her if she was authorized to take payment. I thought maybe she wasn?t. Instead of saying no, she repeated for a fourth time that she could give me the owner?s number. Being exhausted by this time, I said sure. She gave me the number. I then called the number and left a message. A few hours after leaving a message, the owner emailed me the following: Unfortunately I have not been able to find a driver for your vehicle. Because I am not able to find a driver for your vehicle, I will need to cancel your order. I am not doing you any good. I still have your check for the deposit. I will mail it back to you today. Sorry we are unable to help. All I can say is Wow!

It went great with them and the expense was taken care of by my AAA coverage. They were on time, thorough and professional. They did what they promised and the equipment was up-to-date.

Joann Parker and her team are true professionals and made me feel very very comfortable. We were so estatic with their service, the price and the follow-up were perfect. The driver came sooner than expected which for me was a plus. The car was picked up on 5/1 with an estimated time of delivery in Chicago by 5/8, the driver called my Daughter (in Chicago) on Sunday 5/5 and the car was at her doorstop on 5/6...what wonderful people to work with. Since we never transported a car before, we were a little uncertain of what to expect. Fortunately, the car arrived on schedule with no issues.

They were very good. I had the car in almost no time and there weren't any blemishes or anything. Their staff was attentive and nice.

Overall my experience with this driver was exceptional. He was very accommodating to meet my needs. My needs that particular day was to be taken to a location and have him wait just a very short while for me to bring me back to my initial location where he had picked me up. Again I cannot say enough of good things about the driver and the service he delivered.
