Emergency Air

I hired Emergency Air for routine HVAC maintenance. They informed me that my units needed replacement soon and offered a discounted install if I agreed immediately, as they had a cancellation. The discount included a cosmetically damaged return unit, which they disclosed upfront. Although I initially wanted to collect more quotes, their promise to match any "apples-to-apples" offer persuaded me to proceed. Installation happened quickly, but the crew left debris behind (including insulation and a 3' Unistrut), failed to anchor the units properly, and generally gave the impression they didn’t want to be there. Follow-ups were required for several issues: anchoring the units, caulking vents, repairing drywall, and fixing a loosened shelf. These stretched out into November. When I later tried to invoke the apples-to-apples price match, I was told it didn’t apply post-installation—contrary to what I was promised. After persistent follow-up, I was eventually told I had two years to submit comparable quotes. I did exactly that—twice—with valid, lower-cost quotes for the same equipment. Emergency Air stalled responses, rejected the quotes over technicalities (like unsigned documents), and ultimately claimed my lower quotes didn’t offer the same “value.” Their internal comparison was inaccurate—listing services they never performed, such as installing a new condenser pad (they reused the old one). When I raised these concerns, they doubled down, insisting the price difference was justified. A representative even accused me of being unethical for seeking price matching after installation—despite it being part of their sales pitch. After months of delays, broken promises, and evasive communication (including missed calls and ignored emails), I gave up. It took until April to get any resolution, and even that felt like a dismissal. Bottom line: Emergency Air did not honor their own price match policy, misrepresented their services, and showed poor customer service throughout. I would not recommend them to anyone. Always get multiple quotes—don’t make the same mistake I did.

We first hired emergency air to try and save our home ac system but after spending $2000 and another $3000-$4000 being discussed to try and get it up and running we determined best path forward was just to replace the system. They had told us by choosing the new system we would be refunded the $2000 we already paid and it would be like it never happened. They showed us the price of two systems and the system we settled on they showed us that we would owe $16000. I asked them at the end of the day what this entire experience would cost me and the said $16000. Well low and behold a few days pass and it turns out they used the $2000 as a down payment so everything was going to cost us $18000. We have been asking to speak to a manager for 3 days now and we keep being promised they will call and it has yet to happen. We feel they were 100% dishonest and deceitful and lied to us since we asked then straight up what everything would cost.

My tenant called Emergency AC for service. Their rep showed up and changed the capacitor and motor fan (wires were not properly done). My tenant was charged $1,865 (20 & 17 years old) for a job that should be more than $350. I confirmed with other professionals after 2 days when the AC stopped working again, that we were scammed. So they charged us $1,850 and after two day tenant was with no AC again. I called the company to come back and recheck the system. The rep was back, checked the AC and very aggressively recommend changing either the whole entire system for $14,000 ??? or just the compressor for $7,000 without any intention to fix what they started for exorbitant amount. He came back to oversale and charge us more for unnecessary repairs with no intention to help or fix it. He was very prepared with a pad and showed me the new products and that I must change if I want AC. They are trained to sale, overcharge and rip you off. I called two other companies and one of them fix their mess for $350 (including refrigerant), check the whole systems and AC has been working perfectly since. Nothing wrong with the compressor, no need to change the whole unit. This shady company does not deserve to exist in our community.

Exceeded my expectations from the start. Caleb Garver was on time. He efficiently explained what systems would work well in our house. The installers arrived the next day on schedule. Fernando and his co-installer were efficient, worked in horrible heat. The outdoor temperature was 105+. Fernando explained everything and showed us how to use the thermostat and change the filters. Then a senior technician, Robert, came and did a complete inspection and sign off of the job. Because of the outstanding experience with the quote/sale and installation, we were comfortable getting the maintenance plan. We highly recommend Emergency Air.

I was very pleased with Emergency Air Heating and Cooling. Casey was my technician and he was very through and knowledgeable. Casey took the time to explain what work he was to perform and was on time and called to let me know he was on his way. I would recommend this company and will request Casey next time I need my AC serviced.

Richard was great! He arrived when promised and was a complete professional. He clearly explained everything that we needed was very knowledgeable.

Cory is the technician who comes out and he is excellent. Very reliable, professional and we would highly recommend them.

They sent two men who checked the system very quickly. Even though the system is operating fine, and another company last year said everything was OK, they recommended replacing two parts for a total of about $450. This doesn't make sense since the furnace is working fine and we have a home warranty. Overall this seemed like a heavy marketing call to sell $32 worth of parts at high markup in case they failed. Will not call this company again.

Emergency Air was recommended to me by a friend of the family. I did my due diligence and researched the company on the internet. I found favorable reviews so I contacted them to inquire about services and appt.availability. I found them to be knowledgeable, respectful and very easygoing. The Technician was prompt professional and informative about my Air Conditioning system and why the check-ups and preventative maintenance are needed to maintain the longevity of the Ac unit. I was impressed by the thorough service and relieved to find that there are still companies out there that give you an honest days work for an honest days pay. I intend to utilize there services as needed and recommend them. Very good!
