I can't be more pleased. Easy decision and there was no pressure. The salesman was professional, accommodating and very informative. The mechanic, Toby Archuleta Jr., who changes the oil and doing the routine maintenance service was excellent as well.

They are fine. They are expensive but they are fine. You know what I really like about going to them is they do a routine check every time. My attitude about an automobile is that you put a key in the ignition and it better run. That is about how much I know about an automobile. Frankly, that is about how much I want to know. They will tell you when they think there is something that is not quite right. That is a good service I think. The service is good. They are a car dealer, they are a little expensive. The last time I took it in, it wasn't too bad, it was like an hour and a half maybe two hours max. The time before because I had so much done, they had to do it in two days was about 6 hours.
Description of Work: They did a whole lot. They realigned the wheels, flushed the fuel system, put a new air filter in, there was like 9 or 10 things they did.

The car was recalled because of the airbag issues. I had a radiator flush at the same time so that was about $125. The other was in the warranty with Honda. I thought the price was very reasonable. I made an appointment and they kept me to the appointment. Very professional.

They have a very nice service waiting area, but their big screen TV is always on CNN news only. Twice I talked to the GM about changing the news channel to Fox News. The second time I asked the three other patrons what they preferred and they wanted to change the channel also. The manager said he wouldn't change it and if we don't like it, tough. And that was the cleaned up version of his response.

While I was there they gave me a free rental car because the part they needed was not the one they expected they needed. On top of that they washed the interior and exterior of the car. They also had a half-priced deal on window tinting that I took advantage of. I think they give pretty good service and they did a great job.
Description of Work: They replaced the windshield wiper motor. The vehicle is a Honda CRZ.

It was a good car buying experience. This is not your typical dealer. They don't have the high pressure sales environment, don't play the usual car salesman games. Yes, they want you to buy a car from them, but they also want you to be happy with the overall experience They're called AutoNation Honda now. If your looking to buy a car I would definitely recommend them.

This is my regular Honda service provider as it is close to home and work. I took the vehicle there for regular service and mentioned a strange whistling noise from windshield at certain speeds. I also mentioned dome light not working. Advisor said dome light should not have gone out so early so comped the light and promised to look into the windshield. They returned the car same day and completed the oil change. They mentioned that the windshield trim would need to be checked by the installer as that was the most likely cause for the whistling. They probably did find and fix the issue themselves by poking around as I never had the issue come up again. No charge for the windshield or the bulb replacement. Only charged for oil change and shop supplies.
Description of Work: Checked whistling noise on Front Windshield, replaced interior dome light bulb, 27 pt inspection and minor service oil change.

I took my car in for routine servicing. I asked to have them check my alaignment and do an oil change and tire rotation. The service tech had the alighnment check done right there in the service drive. The technician explained how the process worked and gave me the results on the spot. My oil change and tire rotation were performed and my car was returned to me in the time promised. This was the second time I have had my car serviced there and I am very happy.

I always go to SanTan Honda Superstore for an oil change or for any warranty work that needs to be done. They are always good. They have a good service department and they always take care of what ever I need in a timely manner. I have no complaints with them.

It's a beautiful dealership and it's really nice. They were considerably less expensive on their price than if I would have had it done up here in Oregon. I don't know about the quality for sure, but it seems to be working okay. I have used them and I will use them again in the future.

I called Darien Humbolt on Friday afternoon and told him I had a B maintenance due. He told me he didn't have a morning opening(my preference). He said he could get me in at 2:30 Saturday. When I showed up, he met me at receiving, took the necessary information and 1 1/2 hours later, I was on my way.
Description of Work: I took my Element in for a scheduled B service at 28,000 mile. Darien Humbolt was my Rep. They did an oil change, tire rotation, filter change etc.

I paid them to replace my radiator and hoses. Approximately two weeks earlier, the car overheated while idling. I could not find any leaks from the new radiator or hoses, but saw that the radiator fan had stopped working. I assumed that had caused the car to overheat while idling, and took them car in to have this repaired. They called to tell me that the fan was fine, but that the overheating had blown the head gasket, and wanted $1100 to repair it. I insisted that the fan was not working, and that the car had not operated after it overheated, so I didn't think I could have blown the head gasket. They told me some crazy story about how the fan was fine, but that they automatically shut down when the head gasket blows. I knew that was a lie, so I took the car somewhere else. I didn't tell the second person that I believed it was the fan - I only told him that it had overheated only two weeks after I had a new radiator and hoses put in, and asked him to diagnose the problem. He called me an hour later to tell me that the radiator fan switch needed to be replaced, and that this had prevented the fan from coming on while the car was idling, thus causing the overheating. I asked him about the head gasket, and he performed a test to detect any problem. The head gasket was fine. I told him what the dealer had told me, so he ran the test a second time. Still fine. He and I reviewed the report from the dealer and saw that the SAN TAN HONDA HAD NOT EVEN PERFORMED A TEST ON MY HEAD GASKET. They had simply bypassed the $150 repair I told them was needed and attempted to talk me into something that would cost a thousand dollars more than necessary. The second business replaced the fan switch, and the car has run perfectly since that time -- even when it hit 118 degrees this weekend!
Description of Work: None. They attempted to defraud me out of more than a thousand dollars, so I took the car to another business and received honest service. This was so egregious that I am turning the matter over for criminal prosecution.

On April 22 of this year I took my wife's 2003 Honda Civic EX to SanTan Honda Superstore of Chandler, Arizona, to have the engine oil and filter changed. I had previously taken the Civic to the dealership because repairs and maintenance previously seem to have been done well. I drove the car to one of two express service lanes where we were promptly met by a service advisor who introduced himself and took the car. After about 20 minutes, the service advisor found me and said he wants to show me something on the car. I went with him to where the Civic was on a lift and walked under it. The service advisor pointed to oil covering an area behind the driver side inner CV boot. He pointed to where a metal band that secures the CV boot next to the transmission is missing, and recommended that the CV boot be replaced whenever it is cracked or torn. After I felt the outside of the boot, I turned to the mechanic, who looked like he was in his twenties, and told him that I do not feel any cracks or tears. I asked the mechanic if he could feel any. The mechanic looked at the service advisor who looked at me and said that the best way to proceed is to replace the boot to make sure that no dirt gets into the area that the boot protects. Neither the service advisor nor the mechanic offered to point out cracks or tears on the CV boot. I pulled the CV boot back from its mount to wipe my hand around inside the boot, then ran a finger through the oil on my hand to check for grit or dirt. I said that I didn't feel any grit or dirt and asked the mechanic whether he felt any. The mechanic shook his head. When I asked the service advisor what it would cost to replace the boot, he said about $270. I said that since the missing band probably caused the leak in the first place, and since the boot looks okay, replacing the band should be tried first. The service advisor seemed disappointed that I did not follow his recommendation to replace the CV boot but said that he will have the missing band replaced at no charge. On my way back to the lounge, I knocked on the door to a service advisor's office where two service advisors were talking, and asked how often does the metal band fall off a CV boot. One of the service advisors said it is rare but that it does happen. The other service advisor nodded. When I asked about dirt and grit getting inside the boot, one of them said it is more likely that oil will come out rather than dirt getting in. When the car was ready, the service advisor said that I may get a customer satisfaction survey and that it is important that I say that I am happy with the service. I repeated to him that replacing the metal band makes more sense as the first step to fixing the leak, not replacing the boot. Two minor points: When I got home, I read the inspection comment about the CV boot on the vehicle inspection sheet that was stapled to the worksheet. It reads, and ldquo;Driver side inner CV boot slinging grease everywhere.and rdquo; First, the CV boot didn't sling grease but leaked it, although when I checked the leak it looked more like oil. Second, the leak covered an area to the rear of the CV boot, but certainly didn't go and ldquo;everywhereand rdquo;. I raise this point because I associate an accurate, objective description of a problem and ndash; a mechanical one in this case and ndash; with competence and credibility. The second minor point is that I was charged $9.94 for the CV boot band even though the service advisor said that I would not be charged for one.

They offer the services that I need because of the type of car I have. I have a Honda Insight that takes special tires. The tires are ridiculous. The parts are outrageous when you need to do a repair. I save big bucks with my Hybrid but the parts are extremely expensive for such a little car. I only have to fill up every three weeks and I drive 40 miles each day to work. They are fair on prices. They make recommendations and do exactly what I take my car in for. They are convenient. They give me a ride home and their turnaround time is awesome. I live about 20 miles away. They almost always get the work done the same day. I wouldn't go back if I didn't like them. I choose my service providers and friends very carefully.
