Alex Mcmillan Painting

This guy is amazing. Professional to the nth degree. He took a tremendous amount of time to explain their process, outline the work that would be done and followed through to ensure it was done timely. The back of the house wound up needing more paint then he anticipated and although it led to extra cost for him, he stuck with the original quoted price. He even helped me with guidance on products to purchase for deck sealing even though he didn't do the work. I also asked him for some assistance installing new outdoor sconces after the work was done and although that wasn't part of the services he provided, the guys that he had doing the painting were able to assist for a little money on the side. Great company. Can say enough good things about them, but I'll be calling him in the future.

Alex estimated the job the next day, scheduled the work and completed the job, on time and budget, as he said he would. He discovered some hidden problems that required extra work that he was able to repair... get this, no extra charge!! You can bet I'll be using, and recommending, Alex in the future.

The work was done in February 2016. The job started and finished on schedule, the site was left clean of debris, the workers were efficient and seemed anxious to please. The house is Santa Fe style with lots of wood posts, headers and beams; part of it is two story. All stucco cracks were repaired, wood molding around two exterior doors were beyond repair and replaced. I waited several months to do a review because we wanted to give the job some time. The house looks great and we're happy with the job done. There was one problem found after completion that was quickly addressed to our satisfaction. Alex was very easy to work with. We would recommend his company.

Alex was superior! He paid attention to what I wanted, accommodated timing and was exceptional at making sure all details were done. High quality workmanship, knowledgeable and very satisfied with work. Alex also stayed in touch constantly and sent pictures of the work as it progressed. Highly recommend Alex Mcmillian!

Did a great job prepped our house treated the wood before painting. Used high quality Dunn Edwards paint. Didn't water the paint down like the last two painters we used. Expect this job to last much longer. Very impressed with their work. Would recommend their work to anyone looking for a quality job.

We had Alex and his crew out to paint the exterior of our house, and we were (and still are) amazed at what an awesome job they did! Our house is large, and they knocked out the job in 3 days, but didn't cut any corners. Everything was covered in plastic and taped up, all of the "stuff" on the exterior of the house was left pristine. And I can't believe how great the paint looks. It looks like a totally different house. Alex and his crew were very professional, super responsive and were always accommodating of our schedule. We couldn't have asked for a better painting experience. We will definitely recommend them to anyone we know, and hire them again for any future painting needs. Thank you!

Alex and his crew did an outstanding job from beginning to end. He described in detail the work he would do and it was done exactly that way. The home required a lot of prepping (repairing stucco, water repellent primer, etc.) and his crew did a thorough job. The base coat and pop-out colors that Alex suggested really make the home have a great curb appeal! We have additional properties that when it comes time to paint we will definitely look to Alex Macmillan Painting!

Loved this company...Alex & his crew went above & beyond with their communication and workmanship. He took time to thoroughly explain the type of paint best for my house, the tape he used was upgraded from the basic blue painters tape to ensure it stayed in place, worked with us on a price, responded fast to all texts...etc. I'm happy to recommend him & his crew to anyone. My house looks beautiful!!

I am so happy with Alex McMillan work that I am contracting him to do the inside of my home - a complicated job as I we have exposed ceiling beams and loads of detail work. If his team does as well as they did on the outside of the house (still looks like it was completed yesterday) then we will be very thrilled and recommended his services to any one in Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, Mesa who wants quality work for a fair price. We are satisfied. This guy is for real, good value for the money!

Alex's crew worked efficiently and skillfully in the preparation process and in spraying a total of four colors (base color and three trim colors). The prep work on the fascia boards and the careful patching of stucco cracks will ensure that this is a long-lasting paint job. We were very satisfied with the end product and would strongly recommend Alex McMillan for any exterior paint work. Pricing was fair and attention to detail was excellent.

The entire experience was excellent. Alex is very professional and provides a detailed proposal for the work to be performed. The people working with him did an excellent job. He always showed up when promised. He took the time to explain what work would be performed and why he felt his recommendations were the best way to address the requirement. Upon completion he took the time to walk around the house with me and show me how all specific problem areas were addressed. He also showed me before and after pictures of the work done on the roof so that I could easily see what was accomplished.

It is a rare treat to deal with a Company as good as Alex and his crew. They were exceptional in the execution of all work performed. Their thoroughness and attention to detail is remarkable. They replaced weathered trim boards, reconditioned 2x12 facing around my deck, patched many holes in the stucco, removed stucco over-spray from window frames, and replaced door seal weather stripping. They don't merely want you to be happy with their results, they want to blow you away. Mission accomplished! They were capable, accommodating, clear in their communication, and pleasant to be around. To watch them work that hard over the 3 days it took to complete the task was something to behold. I don't usually write these reviews but in this case it was my pleasure. Footnote: Three of my immediate neighbors are working the details with Alex to have their homes painted.

The job was performed above my exectations starting with a detailed list of the work to be accomplished. This was all documented in a professional contract. The prep work done by the crew was exceptional. This included replacing damaged moldings around the doors and spackling all the cracks after the power wash.I picked Alex after observing work done in my neighborhood and not because he was on Angie's list. That was a plus. I got the impression that Alex has a lot of pride in the work he performs. It shows in the final product.Great job. My wife and I are very happy with the appearance of our home.

Alex and his men are very professional. The house looks great. The two painters did a great job. They were very considerate of my schedule and requirements. I have a dog so I had to be able to walk her every two hours. They left the doggie door uncovered until the last minute and I was always able to exit via the front or garage door. I was not sure what colors to use. Alex presented me with some ideas and the colors came out great. They also fixed the drywall on the porch ceilings. They did a fine job of texturing the ceilings. I wanted a few minor fixes after the job. I paid Alex trusting him when he promised his guys would return to make the fixes. Alex was true to his word. His men came back and completed the fixes. I recommend this company and I would hire Alex again.
