It went very good. I noticed that the drying time for our clothes was becoming excessive - perhaps approximating double the time it took to dry a few years ago. I thought we needed a new dryer but it turned out that our venting system was clogged. The serviceman showed us what came out of the venting system and I began to realize that it was a wonder the dryer was working at all. He also adjusted the flap on the outside. It had been partially obstructed by stucco and styrafoam (the house had been a new build a few years ago and the workmen then had inadvertently obstructed it). It was easily understood that this could have been potentially a fire hazard. The dryer now works as it did when new and we don't have to wait on it while clothes are sitting in the washer (the following load) for an hour or two.

Matthew from Northstar Services did an excellent job. We are in the process of moving into our new home, which is 23 yrs old. We had no idea if the previous owner had ever had dryer lint cleaning done and we wanted to get off to fresh start, especially since we are having a new washer & dryer installed this week. Matthew was able to do the work on a day's notice, arrived promptly, worked hard & was very thorough. He spent about 3 hrs getting the job done. You can tell this is Matthew's calling in life; if there's lint out out there, Matthew is going to hunt it down & remove it! I highly recommend Matthew & Northstar Services!

They did a great job. The guy that came out had excellent customer service skills, was very thorough, and was overall a nice guy. The price was very reasonable and he was here a long time. Our vents had never been cleaned before and he had quite a bit of work to do. Overall, we were very pleased.

I called yesterday and he returned my call in about 1 hour. We scheduled for this morning at 7am and he arrived on time.Matt was exceptionally thorough, very professional, and extremely nice. At one point after the visual inspection of the dryer vent pipe from the roof, he stated that we really didn't need to have the cleaning done (the house is 7 yrs old and we bought it 2 yrs ago) since there was just some minor amount of dust in the pipe and no lint buildup/blockages. He was prepared to leave and not even charge me for coming out or for the work he'd already done to inspect the vent pipe. However, knowing my wife she'd still be worried if we didn't clean it. I asked him to do the cleaning even though he didn't think it was needed and he agreed.It took about 2 and 1/2 hrs to complete his work and he was very thorough. We're comfortable that the vent is very clean for now. I recommend this business whole-heartedly to anyone. You will not regret the professional job he will do for you at an extremely reasonable price ($69) and he is very nice to boot.
