Description of Work: The Chimney Doctor was great he looked at the fireplace and determined that since it was electronic he couldn't work on it, however, he recommended someone in Conway that came by and had it going. He did not charge for his time, he was very professional and would use him again anytime.

Description of Work: Inspected fireplace/chimney. Service call went well. Inspected fireplace inside and chimney from roof. Also added additional caulking around loose nails on top of roof while he was up there. Other than taking several weeks to get him out, the service was great. Will use him again.

Description of Work: I requested a chimney and fireplace inspection. The Chimney Doctor was able to arrive within a couple of days from the call. He inspected the roof, the firebox, and chimney then proceeded to clean the chimney and firebox. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the systems.

 + 1 moreAlways professional and honest. The owner is a fireman in Cabot and is certified to do chimney repairs, cleaning, etc. If our chimney does not need a thorough cleaning, he only charges a small inspection fee. We appreciate his honesty, and will not use anyone else for our fireplace work.
Description of Work: We have this company clean and inspect our wood burning fireplace yearly. Cost varies, since we don't always need a cleaning, but do pay for an inspection. A few years ago a tornado destroyed the entire chimney insert, exterior chimney & cap. Chimney Doctor rebuilt the triple wall chimney and exterior chimney to new. Two years later, they replaced the standard steel chimney cap with a nicer black cover for about $300 (after our siding job was finished). Our insurance company inspector was pleased with both the work performed and cost.

 + -1 moreI guess there is not much to say about this type of work other than he got the chimney clean. My wife said he climbed up there and really seemed to know what he was doing. Dirt, dust, and debris is all gone and there is no chance for a clogged chimney. I heard you should have it cleaned yearly to prevent chimney fires. I was not home so I could not tell you what she paid him. I don't think it was a lot since she never complained about it.
