The job felt a bit pricey. But we are very attentive to detail. They did an excelent job of ensuring a professional paint job with crisp painting lines, no over spills.

I submitted an email with a description of the work I needed performed and within an hour I received a call back from a representative with Certapro.  They were out the next day to give me an estimate.  Their reputation and price is what convinced me to go with Certapro.  My painter, Jose, was polite and professional.  The quality of the work is excellent.  My wife and I are extremely pleased with the results and will definitely look to use Certapro again in the future.

This was the 3rd time we have used Certapro. Alex came out and did the quote we felt the price was reasonable based on the size of the deck. We have used them enough that we have a favorite painter. They may all be good but we fell that Elmer is the best. We based our excepting the quote based on Elmer being available. As usual he did not disappoint

Alex came to the house, provided us with several options of what CertaPro could do and gave us cost estimates based on our requests.  The painters arrived promptly on Monday and by Tuesday were finished with all the doors.  Alex and Robi were professional and I enjoyed working with them during this process.

Workers arrived on time, supervisor went over work to be done and approximate time to complete. Everything was done in a professional manner with a close attention to detail. Two coats of paint were used except for bedrooms where three coats were needed because of the previous color of the walls.

Called CertaPro and made an appointment for the next day. They started Painting the following week. The painting crew was great and friendly. The whole experience with CertaPro was great and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a painting job.

CertaPro's painters were on-time, professional, courteous, and thorough.  They finished our large job 1.5 days early with no mess, within the estimate, and with high-quality results.  The job was made more impressive because the underlying paints chosen by the previous homeowners were so garish in color.
Our only complaints would be that some wall outlets had paint on them (the outlet portion, not the covers, which CertaPro removed and replaced).  It would probably be better to mask the outlets themselves after removing the plates, but this was not a big problem because this paint scraped off fairly easily.
Overall, it was a great job and done early and on budget.

The painters - Angelo & Rolando were extremely professional, easy to work with, 100% trustworthy and their work is beautiful.  We had stripes painted on 2 of the LR textured walls.  The lines are PERFECTLY straight. So many of our friends have commented on how perfect & beautiful the walls look.  Some have even thought it was wallpaper because it is so perfect.  We had 1 wall in a guest BR and 1 wall in the study that had large picture holes in them.  They repaired the holes & matched the 10 year old paint exactly.  We also took advantage of the free 1 hour with a decorator.  Sarah helped us pick out the right shades of gray needed to give us the look we wanted.  She "got" the picture in my mind so well that I hired her later to help us place furniture in the LR.  It has always been a problem room with doors and/or windows on every wall. 
Because of the professional work done by Angelo, Rolando and Sarah, our friends have commented on how much larger the LR, Foyer and hallway appear.  The painting and placement of furniture really paid off!!
I have already referred CertaPro to many of our friends and neighbors and we will definitely use them for our next project!!

There were a lot of spots that were poorly painted.  I have contacted them several times, and they said they would come back out, and never showed back up. They were far overpriced.

Charlie gave original estimate.  We decided, admittedly at the last minute, to omit one of the bedrooms and add the ceilings.  James and partner showed up on the scene as scheduled first thing in the morning polite,, but drenched in sweat.  They had a 'deer in the headlight' look on their face and proceeded to tell us of the prep work that would be required of a job this size.  Really???  We saw them go back and forth (in and out of the house) very inefficiently  for most of the morning until they announced around 11 a.m. that they would be breaking for lunch.  Really???  We checked on the their work for the morning and saw some partially taped trim.  Nary a paint can in sight.  Upon return from lunch they announced their departure to the paint store to obtain necessary paint.  At some point painter number #2 left and painter #3 joined the circus.  At the end of the day, the only thing that had been completed was 2 bedroom ceilings.  There were no visible tarps involved in their "prep work".  They promised the balance of the work would be completed the following day.  On day 2, they showed up  -- all 3 of them at the same time, so we were optimistic.  Said optimism was fleeting, when we checked on the progress following their return from lunch.  Again, no tarps on the beds or floors, paint can lids lying directly on the carpet.  And when we asked James if he was sure he was going to finish by the end of the day, he began to falter.  I felt the whole thing was very amateurish.   I went downstairs and called certa-pro to voice my displeasure.  I ended up speaking to a nice woman in Buffalo, NY who was able to track down a local Certapro representative.  This distraught rep/mom appeared to be at home and otherwise occupied with her small children.  While she tried to take in what  I was saying, she could only say that we were the only ones that have been unhappy with this team....hmmmm.  That didn't make me feel better.  How everyone else perceived this team had no bearing on my experience.  They returned on Monday and finished the job.  You could cut the tension with a knife.  I don't want contractors in my home that make me that uncomfortable.  Nobody from Certa-pro ever called to follow up until it was time to settle the bill.  That was when Charlie, the estimator called and told my very mild mannered, non confrontational husband that we were difficult and "bad people".  Perhaps your experience with this company depends on the team that you are assigned.  Charlie, the estimator was beyond rude, and James and his team, while polite, lacked polish and professionalism.

I think they did a good job for a good price. As far as critique, they probably need to communicate a little better between the management and the painters. The management said that they were going to seal all the holes before they painted, and the painters started painting and did not do that. So, I had to point that out to them. That is really the only thing otherwise they did a good job. They were there on-time and worked the full day.

From the moment I called last week, everyone has been extraordinarily courteous.  After making the appointment to review the work I wanted done, Alex arrived on time, insisting on removing his shoes because it had rained and he was concerned my floors and carpets could be soiled.  He was very thorough and detailed, as we worked through the project objectives.  Once again, my husband and I look forward to another successful and beautiful outcome which is thanks to CertaPro!!!

Alex came and gave me an estimate.  He's a very polite and professional young man who was prompt and courteous.  The estimate wasn't the lowest bid, but it certainly wasn't the highest.  I generally choose one from the middle of the pack, and I felt Alex was, as I said, very polite and professional.

He and his brother work several crews, and the first guy to my home was new to CertaPro, as per the crew manager.  The overall look was very good. Coverage was also good, with just a couple of spots that needed additional attention.  I chose a two-color scheme that required masking and "cutting in" where the two colors met, and the workmanship was very good.

Now, I decided to go with an optional up-grade, which was the painting of the attached pergola.  The paint seemed a little thin, and when I checked it out, it seems the painter never sprayed the tops of any of the structure - just the visable sides and lower face.  I thought the crew manager should have noticed it, but he didn't.  There were a couple of their signs that were used as baffles along the roof edge when spraying the paint, and were left there for me to find stuck under the shingles.  So you see, some important details were completely overlooked.

Much to Alex and the company's credit, they were eager to make sure I was satisfied and all areas were corrected and cleaned up.  So, I would use the company again.  The house looks great now that everything is complete... I just wish I didn't have be the one to do the inspection...

UPDATE for 2014:  After having the whole house painted in 2013, I had Alex's crew install new windows, then paint the surrounds.  The guys were prompt and professions.  The brothers who did the work, Elmer and Eric, were diligent and worthy of the task.  Much to Alex's credit, he did a full touch-up on the pergola that hadn't weathered well at all.  The place looks fantastic and I've upgraded the rating to all "A"s because they deserve it. As I said in the initial report, "I would use the company again", and I'm true to my work. I have no reservations referring CertaPro for others looking for, not the highest or lowest bid, but the best bid because of their quality.

The gentleman doing the work was punctual and polite.  He worked very hard.  However, after the job was done we noticed several things that were poorly done.  We called the owner and he responded quickly.  He and the painter  came by and looked over the job.  They agreed to fix the problems.  However, the popcorn ceiling removal was done poorly and at some time I will need to have it redone.  The painting on the walls was done properly.

Crew was professional, friendly, hard working, and clean.  Paint job was top notch.  Cabinets look like new!

This company was first class from the estimate to the completion.Since this was a log cabin in bad shape special care was needed during the cleaning process prior to staining. It was also complicated by a delay because we wanted to replace all the decking on the porch before it was stained so it had to be done in two phases.They set one price and even though it was two months before they could complete the job (due to my delay in replacing the decking) they still stuck to the original quote. Geraldo lead the crew and would not leave at the end of the day until I had looked at what was done and was ok with it.

They (man and woman) arrived on time, worked for about three days (it would have taken two but the man was very sick).  Because they were a day behind they came and finished the job on Sunday.  They did a very good job and cleaned up ALL their mess.  I found them to be very professional and courteous and they undercut their competitior in price.

Great experience!  Alex was very helpful with scheduling around our odd hours, gave a fair price, worked with me when I had to re-schedule due to family emergency. Excellent communication, very professional and friendly. The painting crew did a great job, were friendly, on time, made sure I was happy with their work and left my house clean.

Job went perfectly.  Estimator (Alex)  was punctual.  Did a very very careful walkthrough; asked lots of questions re what we wanted done and what we expected.  Painting team (Elmer and Pedro) were equally punctual and worked long,hard days.  Came at 8:30 am and worked to 6:30. They moved the furniture and covered everything with drop cloths and painters tape and masking paper. Finished entire job in two days (I had guessed at three.)  Kept us informed about what they were doing, and what they would do next.  Had us check out their work several times along the way.  Excellent cleanup when finished. Moved all the furniture back where we wanted it.

They did a great job!  Their price came in at half of another bid I had received.  They caulked their edges....crisp, neat lines for my OCD!  The workers even made nice with my dogs....friendly open guys who I did not feel uneasy having in my house without my husband there.  They quoted me 2 days to complete the job and finished in only one.  I truly had a great experience....it will be so hard from now on to try to convince myself to pull out a paintbrush.  It was just so easy and I felt like I should have paid them more for the time and hassle it saved....if my husband and I had tried to tackle this project on our own, it would've had taken us a week at least.  They were well worth it!  I would definitely recommend.

They provided us with the cheapest price on their job proposal out of the two proposals that I received from vendors to have the paint work completed.  They did a great job in a timely manner and were very professional all the way through the whole process.
