I purchased an LG washer, and I loved it, but it would be out of balance, and it wouldn't correct itself. It was far superior than the one I replaced it with, as far as cleaning goes. It is a wonderful machine, but it just needed some more technology. The new machine is louder, and just doesn't clean as well as the LG. I have used Lowe's before for purchasing appliances. There was no difficulty when purchasing or doing the exchange. They were excellent to work with in every way. I can't say more about how good they were about returns, they were there at every corner. The installation was very good, and the only thing was that the last time the installation, the person forgot to hook up the hose correctly, and the hose popped off and the water went all over the floor. They were really good. The same people did the job. I don't think it was their fault. They came back, and they tried to mop up the floor. They came right back out, and took care of it. They are very good to work with, they stand by their product, they stand by their service, and I would definitely continue to work with them. It was a special order, it wasn't on the floor, but they didn't hesitate to take it back.

Made an appointment for estimator to survey the project, which was not kept.  Called their office, no one knew anything about it.  Eventually, he showed up and prepared a proposal.  

The written proposal was professional and thorough, with the labor/materials warranties you would expect from a national player like Lowes.  The only contact number left for questions and follow-up was for the Lowes switchboard, which was a negative. 

We went with another provider due to price and better responsiveness during the proposal process.

One mitigating factor could be that this is new service for Lowes, and they may need to polish their approach a bit to win business.
