Good people to do business with. Rates were standard I think, but they did what they said they would and the car was ready when they said it would be. Price was below the quote and they’re nice people.

Replaced seals, gaskets, and oil pan on the engine. It was a pretty big job. They also replaced the front axle. They are very thorough and knowledgeable on repairing cars. They can handle big jobs, like major car repairs.

They do good work. They do what they say they are going to do. They're honest and they have fair prices. It took less than a day to complete the work. The workers were fine.

My husband and I had no idea who to turn to for automotive repair. It is a scary thought when you have limited funds and rely on a broken down vehicle SO heavily. Jason was reassuring and did a wonderful job at a price we were very happy with. It's nice to know you're not always going to be taken advantage of. Thank you and bless you!!

My 2007 Ford F-150 was exhibiting vibration and a flashing check engine light. The vibration was so bad it had to be towed. I really didn't expect to hear anything back that day as I was told they were very busy. However, Jason called a few hours later to ask if the spark plugs had ever been changed. He went on to tell me about the issues with changing plugs on this model. Apparently the plugs can break off in the engine during removal. The plugs had been changed less than a year before. Jason suggested removing a plug to confirm that were indeed new. I agreed and new plugs were confirmed to have been installed. That out of the way, he recommended replacing all 8 coils as the engine showed misfires on 7 cylinders. After replacing the coils it now runs great. This was a big relief as the vibration had grown from a minor annoyance to a huge problem. I will definitely be calling Madison Automotive for my future repair needs.

My daughter was traveling down from Ohio for Thanksgiving and had a flashing check engine light and a rough running engine. Called on Friday morning and Jason fit me in (he was closing early to let his employees off). Has it in and diagnosed the problem in less than an hour. Did a complete tune up including replacing the spark plug wires. Had the car done by noon. It runs like a champ now. They are a totally professional, top notch shop. They went out of their way to take care of my out-of-town daughter who needed to return on Sunday. Called and provided a full diagnosis so I could authorize the repair. Personable and excellent face-to-face service. I have used them for both our cars and will continue to use them in the future. Cannot recommend them higher.

Am new in the Huntsville area and located Madison Automotive through Angie's List. Absolutely superior service. Provided estimate of both cost and completion after diagnosis. They located the needed parts and found the best prices. Car was completed ahead of schedule and below initial estimate. Steve communicated with us every step of the way. All personnel were extremely personable and professional. Definitely a top notch repair shop.

I am most impressed with Madison Automotive. I called and asked about getting my air conditioner repaired and they told me to bring it in then. Once there, they showed how the wiring was burned up and I needed two parts in order to get the air conditioner working. Best of all, they had all the parts and were able to fix it immediately in a reasonable amount of time while I waited. I was quoted a higher price, but once finished, it was $100 less than than thought. I was very pleased. I couldn't have asked for better service or time to repair the air conditioner. I will always take my car to Madison Automotive. Very friendly also.

Friendly! Initial estimate and explanation provided on quality of parts to be used. Quick service, total job only took approx two hours, without an appointment. Waffle House within walking distance helps on the wait for sure.

We received several phone calls in the morning to discuss with us what needed to be done and the potential cost of several approaches to fix the problem. We were kept informed all the way through. They were able to get the car fixed by the end of the day, which saved us from paying for a second day of car rental fees. These people know so much about cars and have been around a long time. It is a father and son shop and they both are very nice and trustworthy. We moved here from another state a couple of years ago and were concerned about finding a good, affordable and trustworthy auto mechanic, like we had back home. We have done business here several times and would not take our car anywhere else. If they tell you something, you can take it to the bank and they are very good at explaining what is going on even if you are not a car person. We are so glad we found them.

Great. This was my first experience at an auto shop since I moved to Alabama and they were very friendly and professional. It didn't take them long at all to diagnose the problems and I was in and out in a few hours. They did the most to help me out and made me feel comfortable.

Steve the owner of the shop looked at our car and did the oil change and a few other bits that needed done but he could not duplicate the cold weather rough running that my husband had mentioned. So he only fixed what he could find and suggested that we bring it back when the weather is cold ( the weather is quite warm today) and he will look at it again. We needed the car back today if possible since I am having surgery on Monday and Steve was able to get everything done in a very timely manner and get the car back to us. Steve is very nice and very easy to work with. We have used his services in the past and trust him and his business very much. We feel very lucky to have found him on Angies List after we moved here from Colorado.

Madison Automotive recently replaced engine in my car. After checking around other shops Steve had the best price. The cost, fast turn around and friendly service were great as always. He installed a Jasper Engine with a 3yr 100,000 warranty in my car about a month ago. He and his staff are always courteous, professional and helpful. I've been taking my vehicles to Madison Automotive for all my automotive needs for over 5 years. I always recommend them to my family and friends. They include my father, brothers, and sons and they've always been pleased with the service and prices of Madison Automotive. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else!

Of the places, I've had my car repaired over the years, I've never met a more friendly and appreciative owner/staff. I felt the cost was reasonable and fair. I contacted Madison Automotive and they were extremely friendly and told me to bring it in. The owner, Steve wasn't in when we arrived but his son helped us. He was very polite and appreciative of choosing Madison Auto. He said they would get it in immediately and call with an estimate as soon as they diagnosed the problem. Before I got home, they had diagnosed the problem and were calling with an estimate. (broken power steering line, with this type of problem, they could have easily padded with additional repairs. such as replacing the entire pump and hoses) When I asked for a time frame, (expecting all day), Steve said I'll have it for you in about two hours. True to his word, he called within two hours and said the car was ready. When we arrived to pick up the car, Steve explained all the work performed and said bring it back in in a month so they could check out their work to ensure no leaks. I have found my auto repair shop!

I dropped by early one morning and Jason did an oil change for me. Steve ordered the tires when I got there and had them delivered right away. Great service as always. Madison Automotive has been the only people to work on my car, after Steve fixed the damage done by another repair service, years ago. Thank you Steve and Jason for being honest, caring mechanics. You don't see a women coming and jack up the prices and do 'unneeded work'.

We had been having issues with our 2011 Toyota Avalon...mainly a roaring noise coming from the front of the car. It was diagnosed at another shop as bad struts. Struts were replaced. Noise improved, but not totally gone. Same shop said that because of the bad struts, the tires had worn unevenly and that was the cause of the remaining noise issue. Tires replaced at Costco and noise was reduced but still not fixed entirely. Took car to Madison Automotive. Jason spent the morning working to diagnose the problem, driving with another tech to see if he could figure it out. Took time to check under the car and found loose panels from previous oil changes that had not been fastened back properly. He tightened screws and replaced broken plastic fasteners. After a test drive, I can finally say problem solved. Jason refused payment saying it was an easy fix. Will I return to Madison Automotive? Most definitely! Will I return to my previous shop? Definitely not. Family owned and in business for many years, Madison Automotive is now my one stop for all things automotive repair. Thanks Jason!!

Last week the AC quit cooling so I took it back to be checked. They identified the problem and repaired it the same day at no cost. I had also noticed a vibration in the truck when it reached approximately 45 MPH. They checked this problem and didn't find anything wrong. They didn't charge me for checking the problem and now the vibration seems to be corrected. Maybe a lug nut was loose or something, but regardless they could have easily misled me into paying for a repair they didn't. I currently have them working on my daughter's car. I anticipate the same fast, courteous, and complete service I have received in the past. I will definitely use them to service my vehicles in the future.

They found a screw in one tire but the noise didn't go away. Then we went for a drive and it was determined one tire is defective. I plan to return to the place where I got tires for a replacement. They took about an hour of their time and didn't charge a dime!

We dropped the car off late on the 28th of January and it was ready by noon the next day. The service was fast, professional, and the cost was reasonable for the work performed. We'll definitely be going back.

I was satisfied with the service these guys provided. I need to have some more work done on the Jeep and would trust these folks to do it for me.

I was so pleased with this automotive shop. Not only were they extremely friendly, they fixed the A/C in my van for 500.00 less than what two other shops estimated. The owner also took pity on me and gave me a ride home so that I wouldn't have to wait in the shop while my van was being worked on. You just don't find customer service like this anymore! I would highly recommend this automotive shop.

I would like to begin by saying the price I paid for all the work done on my car, was less than the price for getting four tires, from one of the tire warehouse stores. It was like getting the oil change and alignment free. The time flew, as always, while my car was being worked on. You can sit and relax in a nice clean lobby and watch the big screen television, while your car is being repaired. There is a big picture window where you can even watch as your car is being repaired. The shop, as well as the lobby, office, and restrooms are always clean and comfortable. I called Thursday and they fit me in on Friday. I have only used Madison Automotive for the past 5 years. They are very reliable, professional, and affordable. All the mechanics greet you and are friendly. I recommend that everyone take their car to Steve. I drive a Honda and feel the price I pay is very reasonable and I have never had any problem with any repairs done on the car. Last year the head cracked on my Honda and he gave the best price again, as usual and had the work done much quicker than any of the other shops estimated. Steve always gives discounts, unlike other places where I had taken my car, who always found a way to surprise me with extra charges. He will also give you a warranty on the repairs done. He explains everything to you, so that even if you aren?t a mechanic you understand what is being done to your car. Steve Ezell takes great care of his customers treating them more like friends, than customers. I highly recommend him
