This is a small business located in historic downtown, Homewood. The staff was nice and courteous, when I came in to be given an estimate. I was told that the repairs would take 2-3 weeks. The lamps were not ready in, 3 weeks. I called every two weeks after that, to check on lamps, because no one called me to explain, that the lamps were taking longer, than expected to repair. 7 weeks later, the lamps are ready for pick up. I get there & the actual cost of repair is more than the estimate. I asked to see the itemized order for each lamp, to see why the cost was more than quoted & also, to see what was done to each lamp. I was not allowed to see the work order. When I questioned the staff member about the price discrepancy, I was meet with resistance and a bad attitude. I had to ask for a box and assistance to carry 6 lamps to my car, neither were offered. The felt under the lamp peeled off one lamp, others do not have the felt at all, and there is a broken piece at base of one lamp.
Description of Work: This company rewired 6 antique table lamps.
