This was an after hours call (is it ever not?) and Guy was wonderful to work with. Most important was the fact he was fully aware of the construction situation in our older neighborhood - and was very upfront and honest about potential pitfalls. Frankly, I expected it to go a lot worse. Better still is the fact he was really nice when I'm sure he would have rather been somewhere else right then! It is a real comfort to know you have dependable, professional help when really needed. Well done!

Once again, Anchorage Plumbing and Heating responded quickly and competently to a call for help - this time for a stubbornly clogged shower drain that demanded professional attention. We use this reliable, established company for all of of plumbing and heating needs. Their quick, complete, and capable work is consistently excellent. We highly recommend this team.

Guy is a consummate professional & always gets right down to business. I told him what was going on & in a matter of about 5 minutes, he diagnosed the problem & got to work fixing the issues. I use Anchorage Plumbing and Heating every year for my "Winter Heater Check-Up". This year, Chris, the technician and I discussed my overheated garage and the old zone valves (3 levels) on my furnace. I decided to replace them and try and reduce the extra, unnecessary heat in my garage. Chris arrived at 8:30, appoinment was scheduled for morning (8-12). He completed the work and explained everything to me.

Technician was scheduled to arrive between 8-10 A.M. He arrived a few minutes after 8:00 A.M. and completed checkup of Boiler in minimal time. Technician was very professional and willing to answer any questions that I might have had. I have been a customer of Anchorage Plumbing and Heating for over 20 years and have never had any problems. All the technicians have been professional and knowledgeable about their jobs. I recently had a new Boiler installed and I couldn't have asked for a better installation. I would highly recommend Anchorage Plumbing and Heating for all your plumbing needs.

We appreciated the advice on saving money by doing some of the work ourselves. Will update later with the rest of the experience when Curtis comes back to do the work.

They were able to come the next morning (offered to come the very same day). They were right on time and very efficient. The price was better than I expected, and the gentleman was very polite and professional. He called when he found out what was wrong with it to make sure I wanted it replaced. I was impressed by the service I received. I'd definitely use them again.

We were scheduled to start first thing in the morning and the technician (Curtis) called ahead of time to let us know he was on the way and arrived right on time. He was very thorough in his cleaning and checkout and also answered all the questions I had. He was very professional and personable. Earlier this year we used Anchorage Plumbing and Heating to replace a hot water heater for one of our rental units. That was the first time we used Anchorage Plumbing and Heating. Previously we have used three or four of the other plumbing and heating companies in town. We've found that Anchorage Plumbing and Heating is a cut above the rest.

Curtis, our service person, did a good job. He was professional, thorough, and made sure that his work was high quality.

Chris is the best plumber in this town. He is fast, efficient and informative. After repairing my furnace he asked if there was anything else he could do. I remembered my faucet dropped and he repaired that too in no time.

They're always speedy and thorough and their work seems solid. Pricing is fair and they're on time.

They come and they treat me right. Anytime I've got a problem with my boiler, I will use them.

I like that it did not take them long to get through me. My furnace was out and it was getting cold out there. Where other companies could not get to me for weeks, they got to me in a few days. The thing I dislike was that I believe they made a little bit of mess in one of my bathrooms. I think they were dumping dirty water out into my bathtub and left it rather dirty. Overall, I thought their service was great. I thought the installation was very well done and quickly as well.

Arrived on time. Called first. Fixed problem. Gave good advice. Fair price. Gave good advice for future if new or recurrent problems develop.

The plumber found P-trap clogged and gasket missing at tad piece. He cleared the trap and replaced the gasket. Retested the garbage disposal by filling and draining the sink. It works and sounds great now. *Plumber arrived within the hour of calling for service. He was very professional looking and polite. He explained what he was doing and we would definitely use this service again.

Provider needed extra parts which were delivered promptly and finished job in timely fashion.

I've used several other venders in Anchorage and finally discovered Anchorage Plumbing & Heating thanks to Angie's List reviews. I'm super thankful I did as they have consistently gone above and beyond. When my hot water heater went out suddenly, and it proved to not be as simple a fix as replacing the thermocouple, I thought we might be without hot water for a few days until a spot to install a new one would open up. To my pleasant surprise, Anchorage Plumbing & Heating was able to get out and install a new one the same day. Plus, they correctly diagnosed and fixed an irregular hot water problem that's been plaguing us for years and NONE of the other plumbers I've had look at it could. Turns out the mixing valve was shot. Very, very pleased and can absolutely recommend these folks.

Guy showed up on time, but was rude and condescending. Waited for nearly a week for the estimate. Finally called to check on the status, only to be told they didn't want our business. Sorry, you won't be getting any recommendations from us.

Since I had decided it was time I learn every detail about fixing items in my house Curtis was extremely patient in showing me what he was doing and explaining why he was doing it. I paid the bill and was shocked and very impressed when Anchorage Plumbing & heating called me the next day advising me that an addition mistake had been made and they were calling to tell me that a credit had been put back on my card already! Curtis is a very knowledgeable plumber and the company obviously has integrity. I will definitely call them again should the need arise.

A friendly guy came to the house by the name of Chet and got right to work. He was professional, prompt and informative. He showed me how to fix it should the same problem happen again. Overall I was very pleased with the service and if i ever have another issue with my furnace I would call this company in a heartbeat!!!! Thanks Chet.
