Installed an aftermarket axle seal when it should have been a OEM seal. Auto select said that because it was a foreign car they didn't know. The car had to be towed to another repair center where the mechanic that ended up redoing Auto Selects mistake knew right away what seal had to be use. Auto Selects botched repair could have ruined my transaxle costing me thousands of dollars to repair,

"On August 23, 2017, we installed the correct aftermarket left axle seal on Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s 2004 Lexus ES330. Mr. [Member Name Removed] brought his vehicle home and parked it. When his wife left for a trip with the vehicle, he found transmission fluid on his driveway. Mr. [Member Name Removed] contacted his wife who also found fluid on the ground where she parked in Madison. After contacting us and learning the vehicle was now out of town, we immediately provided Mr. [Member Name Removed] the Toll-Free Telephone Number for our nationwide warranty program. We should have coordinated this for him. Our nationwide warranty company recommended the vehicle be taken to Badger Tire in Madison who discovered the aftermarket seal we installed had failed. They replaced the failed aftermarket seal with a Lexus brand seal, which corrected the problem. That warranty replacement repair was paid for by our Nationwide Warranty company. Our vendor sent Mr. [Member Name Removed] a reimbursement check for the towing expense incurred to get the vehicle to Badger Tire for repair. On 9/12/2017, I contacted Mr. [Member Name Removed] to discuss the unfortunate situation, offer my sincere apologizes, and to reimburse him and his wife for any other expenses they may have incurred and/or loss of time they had dealing with this. Mr. [Member Name Removed] declined any further reimbursement. Hopefully this reimbursement gesture will be reconsidered. I’ve been using them for about 10/12 years and they have always do very good work. The service was about $40, but I got an estimate for a brake job which will be about $600. They’re really fair. I’m going to use them in another week.

Dropped car off at 8AM and got a ride home from Auto Select. Three hours later they called to say the everything checked out except for the tail light. I they suggested replacing the part and I asked if a used part was available and proceed with the repair if they found the part. Two hours later they called to say the part was found and installed and they would come and pick me up so I could get my car. I have been using Auto Select for the past 6 years for routine maintenance and other service. They are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The work has always been preformed with no further issues arising as a result of their workmanship. Shouldn't you consider using them too?

The staff was very professional and looked up information that I couldn't remember or didn't know. The service was provided in a timely manner. The waiting room is very clean with a television and reading materials. Issues were presented in a professional manner and was not pressured into getting any other work completed.

I was SO impressed by the auto select people. From the first phone call they told me I could bring my vehicle in at any time and they would take care of it. They went above and beyond what I asked them to do and for a cheaper price than I could have found anywhere else.

I needed new tires, so I got the new tires. While installing the tires, they noticed that something was wrong with the power steering. They asked me if I was in an accident, which I was in March. They contacted the people that did the body work and did it for free since Auto Select reached out to the other service provider and worked everything out.

All services are done promptly and without surprises as to cost. They will also go to make the best deal possible by throwing in service coupons or specials. I have purchased tires and if there was a problem, they promptly replaced the tires under warranty. I would recommend this location for auto repairs to anyone.

It went pretty well and they did a nice job. The work was done in the time frame they promised and the price was within the estimate. I asked for a quote on another issue and the estimate seemed a little out of the price range I felt it should be. I got an estimate elsewhere and they didn’t feel the work didn’t needed to be done. I would definitely go back there if the pricing was better.
