Auto Select - Stevens Point South & Express

Installed an aftermarket axle seal when it should have been a OEM seal. Auto select said that because it was a foreign car they didn't know. The car had to be towed to another repair center where the mechanic that ended up redoing Auto Selects mistake knew right away what seal had to be use. Auto Selects botched repair could have ruined my transaxle costing me thousands of dollars to repair,

I’ve been using them for about 10/12 years and they have always do very good work. The service was about $40, but I got an estimate for a brake job which will be about $600. They’re really fair. I’m going to use them in another week.

Doug was courteous and very helpful. My mothers engine for her car failed. She was traveling away from home. She had an offer to replace her engine by a local company that claimed they could install a rebuilt engine with a 3 yr warranty or 100000 miles. When I asked for documentation on the warranty, I was pointed to a car dealer in a nearby city, whom this repair shop would be buying engine from. They told me the best they could do was 12 months or 12000 miles. Knew then that original guy was wrong either ignorantly or knowingly. I joined Angie's List so I could find someone reputable to deal with. Found Auto Select had great reviews and found them to be equal to those reviews. Very pleased with their professionalism, especially Doug!

Dropped car off at 8AM and got a ride home from Auto Select. Three hours later they called to say the everything checked out except for the tail light. I they suggested replacing the part and I asked if a used part was available and proceed with the repair if they found the part. Two hours later they called to say the part was found and installed and they would come and pick me up so I could get my car. I have been using Auto Select for the past 6 years for routine maintenance and other service. They are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The work has always been preformed with no further issues arising as a result of their workmanship. Shouldn't you consider using them too?

The staff was very professional and looked up information that I couldn't remember or didn't know. The service was provided in a timely manner. The waiting room is very clean with a television and reading materials. Issues were presented in a professional manner and was not pressured into getting any other work completed.

I was SO impressed by the auto select people. From the first phone call they told me I could bring my vehicle in at any time and they would take care of it. They went above and beyond what I asked them to do and for a cheaper price than I could have found anywhere else.

I needed new tires, so I got the new tires. While installing the tires, they noticed that something was wrong with the power steering. They asked me if I was in an accident, which I was in March. They contacted the people that did the body work and did it for free since Auto Select reached out to the other service provider and worked everything out.

All services are done promptly and without surprises as to cost. They will also go to make the best deal possible by throwing in service coupons or specials. I have purchased tires and if there was a problem, they promptly replaced the tires under warranty. I would recommend this location for auto repairs to anyone.

It went pretty well and they did a nice job. The work was done in the time frame they promised and the price was within the estimate. I asked for a quote on another issue and the estimate seemed a little out of the price range I felt it should be. I got an estimate elsewhere and they didn’t feel the work didn’t needed to be done. I would definitely go back there if the pricing was better.

It was a $30 diagnostic fee. They also gave me a quote for the a/c in my car. I get my oil changed here as well.

We’ve been going to them for years. They are reliable. They say what they are going to do. Their prices are comparable to other companies and their estimates are usually firm. Service has always been good.

The work turned out well. This is the first time I’ve been to them in years. I went back because I remembered some work they did for me years ago. They went above and beyond back then and they did this time as well.

I remember I dropped the car off and I had some things to do so I came back about 3 hours later and it was done. The workers and manager are very pleasant.

They completely messed up the service, and we had to get a new undercarriage for our car. They did pay for the labor for the repairs, but we had to pay for the parts which cost us an additional $700.00. I would not recommend them to anyone.
