It has been unusually cold and we had been traveling. We have a service that checks the house, and they told us our tank was at 12%, which is not critical, but is only a few days supply with sub zero temperatures. We called Draeger, and though they are extremely busy with the propane shortage and all the other problems associated with such a cold winter, they called right back. They said that we were scheduled to get a fill in the next few days. They sent us a text when they filled the tank, and they also checked to make sure our furnace was still running. We had been long time customers of Dalquist Propane, a family owned business. Draeger bought them out a few years ago and we were concerned that we weren't going to get the same level of excellent service. However, Draeger has more than lived up to the excellent service we had become used to. The price right now is very high, but it was mitigated by the fact that we had pre-bought. We appreciate the opportunity to pre-buy, which isn't always a savings, but this year was a real blessing. At least it provides the opportunity to know the cost ahead of time in most years.
Description of Work: We have a contract with Draeger to keep our propane tank filled. We also nominate propane with them in the summer for the heating season.
