 + 5 moreJaime takes great care to work with the family re hours of work. He is extremely reliable and does what he says he will do. He had many ideas related to the flood cleanup/demolition and we found his help invaluable. Many families on our street sought his help with the flood damage because they have hired him in the past for handyman work, lawn mowing, painting and a variety of household maintenance tasks. I have seen his work in the home of neighbors and it is well-done. We liked the quiet, diligent hours he put in during a very stressful post-flooding time. He communicates well. He is flexible. He has high standards. He is extremely reliable and is a neat worker. He tries to leave the work area in better shape than he found it. I would not hesitate to hire him for painting because I have seen his work in the neighborhood. One of the most useful things he does is very simple home maintenance chores which many handymen will not do. Examples of this include changing light bulbs, moving furniture, hauling things to recycling and general cleanup. We are older and doing less each year. There is nothing for which I would not ask his help and I am certain that he would try to provide that assistance. Jaime generally estimates the hours a job needs and the customer has a pretty close estimate to the final cost. He is honest and never inflates his hours or the final bill. My only reluctance in giving this good recommendation is that he will become so busy that he will have difficulty scheduling me when we need him!
Description of Work: Jaime has completed a variety of things for our family over the last two years. During the 2010 summer floods he removed everything from our basement, demolished damaged walls and baseboards, carried out wet carpeting and prepped the entire basement for remodel and painting. He worked long and hard 12 or more hour days. Jaime has also helped us with window washing on a multi-story home, gutter cleaning, lawn mowing and other general handiwork.
