He checked everything and was very professional. I liked him and the work he suggested, but it was a little expensive for us.

Mr. Dahlgen and his crew were at my business early as he said he would be. Their work ethic is outstanding and the job they did was amazing.They removed all of the broken concrete in a very short time. They cleaned up everything. The new concrete approach to the front of my building as well as the approach to my garage and cart area is just absolutely beautiful.

He was very responsive to what I wanted. He was able to help me design what we wanted to do. He was a really good communicator. The quality of the work itself was outstanding. You could tell that he was an experienced professional. He conducted himself in a manner that was consistent with the title of a professional. His workers were very polite. They cleaned up after themselves. Everything was very well done. It had the look of being high-quality.

Bruce was prompt on the appointments we set up. He listened to what we wanted done and made good suggestions about grading in order to keep rain water flowing away from the house. He and his crew did a great job and they cleaned up after themselves quite well. He was a pleasure to work with.

Never got an estimate. I rated them a C overall because they did not at least get back with me. I did not rate themat F because I understand that a single slab repair is probably not profitable for them.

Bruce was very pleasant and professional to work with for the estimate. A landscape designer plotted a uniquely curved sidewalk with flare outs to our front porch area. The landscaper was to charge approx $10,000 for all the pavers and a paver patio. Bruce completed the same layout (except for patio) with concrete in one day and I believe concrete saved me about $5500, he even gave me a bit to much sidewalk. Our driveway was still gravel and we weren't sure where to end the sidewalk. I called Bruce about my concern and within a week he came back and cut the extra off at no cost. Just seemed like such a great contractor to do business with. Did all and more than I expected. 1.5 years later, the walkway still looks great.

Bruce Dahlgren called me and told me the exact date he was going to be out and he showed up at the specific date and time stated with his crew ready to work. Bruce and his crew got down to business. They tore out my the areas of concrete that they say they would. I left to go the bank and when I returned my walkway and all the concrete around my house was all tore out. I trusted Bruce to the fullest gave him the check and left for work. One thing I forgot to mention, was the passion in Bruce's eyes as he explained what they have done and what they were going to do before I left for work. I knew that my home was in good hands. Bruce and his crew are all artist who take pride in their work. When I returned home, he had taped off the walkway and around the back as well, but he did leave me an entrance to get into my home without harming the concrete. He also gave me instructions for the care of my concrete as well. The next day my concrete was all set and I was able to walk on it, I must say my home is beyond beautiful, thanks to Bruce Dahlgren and his team of artist. I will have pictures of my home to follow at a later date. If you want artist to lay concrete, I suggest you get Bruce Dahlgren and his crew to help you, you won't be dissatisfied.

Bruce is top notch. He did a great job and was reasonably priced.

The sidewalk looks very nice. He does great work. We'll see how it holds up through the winter, but so far, it looks great. I did see some of his work at another home, which is why I contacted him.

Bruce was punctual and professional start to finish. Great to work with someone that really knows what they're doing. He and his team were very careful not to disturb the foundation of the house while the concrete was being removed and they kept the job site clean. A+.

Excellent job by Bruce and his team. Bruce was the second estimate we got and he was well below the other estimate (which came from a "highly recommended" concrete contractor). Bruce accommodated our timing with the old porch being ripped out and coming out within days to remove and replace the new concrete slab and stairs. I can't speak highly enough of Bruce and have already recommended him to a couple of friends for their concrete work. He is by far the easiest to work with, fair priced and the finished product is gorgeous. I will absolutely use Bruce and his team again for future work. One thing to note is that Bruce is out in the field and his work phone is at his office so he doesn't return phone calls within an hour or two, it usuallys takes a day or two to hear back from him. But he always returned my calls and I never worried about the work getting done when he said he would do it.

Bruce and company did a great job of matching the style of the existing concrete which was poured 4 years ago. He even shadow boxed it (which they normally don't do) so that it matched the existing driveway. He was responsive, got the job done when he said it would be done, and was professional throughout the project. We are very pleased with the outcome and would definitely use his company again. He also is a very nice, down to earth guy.

We hesitated in writing this review on Mr. Bruce Dalgren's bussiness for two reasons. Usually people write to share their experiences on the completed work contracted for with some company. Unfortunately we cannot advise on the work from Mr. Dalgren's company, as it never occurred. Secondly, we very much enjoyed meeting and planning the work we were looking to have done with Mr. Dalgren, as he was very kind, convinced us of the quality of his work and seemed genuine. He agreed to take the additional steps our local government was requiring to gain a permit as well which was a concern to us. However, like so many other contractors you hear about, after repeated promises, and delays, even after several phone conversations where again he seemed sincere in that he'd move on our permit process, and quote, we never did get either back from him. Months have passed from our July conversation and visit from him, and as of today October 1st, it appears through the lack of any feedback from him to-date that he's decided not to do our work. Even if he had communicated a change in heart to us, we'd still speak highly of him, as a pleasant man who listens to one's needs and concerns. We would have appreciated at least a call telling us to look elsewhere for this work, as the season here for concrete work is very short. But now we categorize him and his company, as just another contractor who helps earn contractors their bad reputation based upon his lack of respect for us, and failing to deliver on any of his promises to us.

Had some trouble getting communication from him to make the final plans and set up the work date which is why the "B." (I'm a little bit of stickler for at least "good" communication), but did a good job otherwise and was personable. Would give an B+ or A- if I could

Bruce was kind and respectful during both the estimate and actual work. He problem solved with us and when we were concerned about price he encouraged my husband to do some of the demo work and digging to save us some money. He was very flexible in both price and timing. The work was completed well and I am very pleased overall.

I called him and asked him a question with regards to my situation with regard to my concrete. I left a long voice mail. He called back even though he knew it was not going to result in any business for him. It wasn?t the kind of thing that he did. He was the man who owns the business. He gave me a 15 minutes really good assessment of what my situation was and what I should do about it. It was really amazing and I was grateful for that. I did not expect him to spend any time talking to me about it. I really was very happy with him. He then gave me some alternative ideas. He was remarkable genuinely in order. I thought to myself that if I had the funds, I am going to call him.

Found Bruce on Angie's List, and requested a quote. He returned my call promptly, set up a time with me, quickly provided a quote that explained exactly what he would do, and how he would do it. He estimated that he would have room in his schedule for us in 3 weeks, but was able to get to us in under 2 weeks. He called to make sure the time would work for us, and was done in less than a day. Worksite was roped off and cleaned up when we arrived home.The extension looks great, and Bruce came back the next day to saw-cut grooves to match the original construction. A great experience all around, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needed concrete work done.

The estimate was worth $3900. They were professional. The guy said that he couldn?t do what I wanted him to do. I didn?t understand what he said. So, I didn?t hire him. I will not be using this company again.

Bruce came over and had a look at our walk. He was very attentive to our concerns and sensitive to our budget. We mentioned we were planning to sell the house in the next year so he was very helpful in providing a lien waiver. Our walk was sunk in front of the concrete steps and cracked in a few places. The sidewalk he made us is twice as wide and made with a concrete that has tiny plastic fibers in it to make it more durable. He also patched some unsightly holes on our front steps where the iron railings were ripped out a few years ago and filled in a small gap on the side of the steps. He advised our front steps were in good shape and resting on a sturdy platform so they did not need to be replaced. When the sidewalk was poured it brought the level of the walk up to the appropriate height of the front steps.

Bruce was great in every respect. He provided high quality, professional work at a very fair price.

We received a quote from Bruce about a year ago but then decided not to do the work last fall. We decided to do it in the spring and when we called Bruce he put us on their calendar and honored the quote from the year before. The crew was on time, did a great job and cleaned up well. We are very happy with the finished product and really liked working with Bruce who is knowledgeable and fair.

We were able to get our quote very quickly. It took a little longer than I had hoped to get everything installed, but it was worth the wait. The workers were professional and courteous. They arrived when they said they would and they kept me involved to make sure they were pouring the concrete exactly as I wanted it.

Bruce addressed our problem with water in the basement by sloping the sidewalks away from the house. No problem with water in the basement since. He came when he promised and called if they were going to be late. His crew was very professional and polite. We were very satisfied with the work and would highly recommend them.
