Crew arrived to demo existing steps and walkways at 7:45 a.m. Finished all contracted work by 1:00 p.m. the same day.

Returned my call promptly and scheduled a visit. Bruce gave me an estimate immediately and followed up with a written proposal. Originally, we were looking at about 3 weeks before the work could be done but, he was able to fit us in much earlier due to other jobs in our area. Very satisfied.

Bruce returned all phone calls in a timely fashion and kept us up to date at every step. His estimate was well below others we received and the work was great. We will be using his services in the near future for our driveway.

He was very flexible and punctual. He was very clean and professional.

Bruce came out and looked at our garage floor, which was in bad shape. He gave me an estimate. In addition, he noted that the landing step from our family room to the garage was too small. As seniors, we had been having trouble when going into the garage and carrying a load. He cared about the customer! He suggested a significant increase in the size of the step. I never thought about asking about it. When we signed the contract, I asked for sufficient notice so that I could clear out the garage. In addition I was conserned about a heavy workbench. Bruce said his crew would remove it and put it back after the concrete had dried. We figured that the job would be done in May sometime. But the weather has been spectacular and Bruce called and scheduled 4/30 with me, with plenty of notice. He said the crew would be at my house at 7:45 AM. They arrived on time. The job was conducted like a ballet. He had a crew of 5 an everyone knew his job. I was expecting the job to take 2 days. However, the floor was broken up, removed and was taken away by the time the Cement truck showed up around noon. The floor was poured and finished by 3:00 PM. The extended step was brush finished to give better traction. We love it. Going into the garage with both hands full is now a pleasure instead of a challenge. 2 members of the crew came back the next day and moved the workbench back into the garage. All the comments made in other reviews are true. Bruce is easy to work with, thoughful and an all round good guy. He has built a crew of workers just like himself. I can't say enough about how smoothly this job went. The garage looks great!!

The experience went very well from start ot finsh. Bruce is very easy to work with, listens well and puts forth very constructive ideas. The crew was very polite, neat and hard working. It has been two years since the job was done, the patio looks wonderful. I would recommend Bruce very highly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They came out on time, removed the driveway and side sidewalk. They then replace with new . This was all done on one day. The next Spring I noticed cracks in the driveway. Called Bruce who came right out and stated it must have been a bad mix. He came back and replace the driveway at no cost.

I love them. He did a driveway last summer and after the winter time I noticed some pitting. So, I called Mr. Bruce. He came out. He said that he was not satisfied with it and that there must have been some problem with the concrete that he received from the concrete company. He re-did a third of our driveway with no charge to me. He said that he would not be happy with that and so he would not expect his clients to be happy with that. He was wonderful and he was a great person. He was really fantastic. I have recommended him several times to the other friends as it is a great company. I would like to grade him highly across the board. I would use him again if I ever have any more concrete work to be done. He is the type of person who stands behind his work and he is a man of total integrity. I would love to say that you are going to be very happy with the products that you are going to get and if you are not, he will make sure that he will repair the work until you are absolutely satisfied.

We were extremely satisfied. We had to work around the poor weather conditions, but he always kept us informed on the status of the work. It was overall, an excellent example of customer service. He came with excellent designs and the final product has received many compliments.

It was great. He did a very good job. He recommended Pete Ergen from EDE Masonry for doing stone work connected to our porch and he did a great job as well.

We felt this company was reputable and it was done the way we wanted. I will use them again in the future.

Bruce was great to work with, very responsive, very punctual, answered all my questions, called me back....all the things that make up a great contractor. The ONLY reason we didn't go with Bruce was that he didn't do retaining walls, he recommended a great retaining wall guy but in the end we had a comparable quote from a contractor who would do both. If I had just a driveway to do, I wouldn't hesitate to use Bruce.

Bruce and his crew arrived at 7am and got to work right away. They were super quick and efficient. By the end of the first day they had already poured half of our driveway. On the second day, they finished by noon. We weren't quite happy with how the driveway transitioned into a second parking spot. Bruce thought it might work for us, so suggested that we try and use it for a little while, and if we still weren't happy he would add more concrete as we had wanted. We did decide to go with the additional concrete. Bruce tore out a small section of the driveway he had poured just a couple weeks previous and repoured the area and added what we wanted. He tore out the section so he could redo it to make the additional concrete section look like it was supposed to be there. He did all the extra work for no charge! Bruce is very professional and kind. As a person, I absolutely liked him more than any other concrete contractor that we interviewed. I highly recommend him and would use his services again.

We got 4 quotes total. Bruce's was not the lowest, but it was very competitive. We chose him though because of his professionalism and apparent knowledge and experience. He explained exactly what he needed to do and described the advanced features he was going to create (swale, lip, as described above) to improve the drainage on our property. None of the other companies discussed this, which was why we chose him. The installation was slightly delayed, but only because of the weather. He was very good at communicating with us to let us know when they'd be there to do the job. When they came to do the job, it was clear that Bruce's crew was tight and worked well together. Bruce himself did a good amount of the work. They finished the entire job in one day and cleaned up well. Bruce met with us in the evening to discuss the work they'd done and go over any questions we had. Four months later, we are very happy with our new driveway. Drainage works as intended, and we've had no water in our basement. And it looks great!

Followup from last years work, new patio has been the summer center of attention and the spring rains ran off the way Bruce had designed. We were very happy with the preparation and installation. Bruce was very easy to work with and extremely knowledgeabe about his trade, concrete. The entire crew were very professional,polite and cleaned up after themselves. Price, Quality, Cleaniness and just an overall very good experience! Recommend to any one!!!!! After the work was finshed Bruce followed up to ensure every thing was satisfactory! Bruce also took a fancy to our 34 year old Down Syndrome son Mike, and sent him four Admiral Tickets (thank you). We were very satisfied with our experience.

I am SO pleased with my new sidewalk! The crew laid out the forms on Monday and then poured the concrete on Tuesday. Bruce was right there working with his crew. Prior to the concrete being laid, they encased an electrical cable in a PVC pipe and did the same with a drain from my roof. Then when they poured the concrete, the cable and the drain were safely buried under the concrete in PVC piping. In case something ever has to be done with the electrical cable or the drain in the future, they will be easily accessed. The workers were very professional, worked diligently, and were very friendly. Once the forms were up, it didn't take long for the concrete to be poured. Shadow boxing was put around the edge of each section of the walkway. It matched the existing concrete sidewalk perfectly! In addition, since I would need more topsoil for backfilling (remember topsoil was not in the original bid) than I thought, Bruce ordered some topsoil and had his crew spread it where it was needed and feathered it out onto the existing grass. (Needless to say, I was totally thrilled that I wouldn't be hauling topsoil the rest of the summer!) He even repaired a bad leak that I had in my hose! So, a report? A+ all the way.

I recommended Bruce's company to my uncle. In the past 2 years Bruce he had done my mothers stoops and sidewalks and my brother-in-laws driveway. All with great results. This experience for my uncle was no different. He did timely, hi quality work and at a very reasonable price. In fact his price was 1/4 the price cost of another estimate. Bruce is very easy to get along with and keeps you informed throughout the process. I highly recommend him.

Bruce was very professional and knowledgeable. Recommended the right course of action for our problem and did an excellent, timely job. And he was reasonably priced.

I don't think I could have had a better experience. First contacted Bruce about 2 years ago, from Angies list and got estimate, got two other estimates last year and all were in the ballpark. Contacted Bruce Dahlgren April this year, came by within a day or so. Talked about what I wanted to do and he wrote an estimate that I had probably in the week. Decided to use this contractor as he just seemed to be on his game and honest. During excavation of old concrete had a few issues - like a second sidewalk under the back walk, a concrete path that was next to the house and old driveway had been poured over, and then some foundation blocks crumbled apart, found other loose ones, etc. Contacted me at work, he stopped the job due to this so I could see what was going on and also contacted a mason for me. Met with him and mason, ERD Masonry, Inc. (separate report) and then explained what should be done. As it had to be done went with it. Mason work was done in 2 days and then Friday, July 1st final part of drive was poured. After completed he gave me info on when could drive, walk, etc. Fixed a lot of extras with the job that were not part of the original quote, but was not charged the extra. Went the extra mile to make sure everything was in order. Cleaned property well with no mess left. House is 83 years old and driveway was old, cracked, ugly. Thought this was part of water seeping into basement - all if fixed now and for all that happened unexpectedly, I couldn't have had a better experience. Everything looks wonderful, I am extremely happy, I would not hesitate to use Bruce again - can't go wrong!

I can say without hesitation that Bruce Dahlgren and his crew did an excellent job on our front porch and walkway. He was punctual, polite and did a great job in a minimal amount of time. His pricing was also very reasonable. He took extra care in the demolition phase to prevent damage to the house and foliage near the construction site. The site was kept in a neat and orderly fashion. Bruce Dahlgren went the "extra mile" in completing the project to our total satisfaction. We would definitely hire Bruce Dahlgren again for any future concrete projects.

They came right out and gave me an estimate. I wanted them to do some mudjacking, and he recommended replacing the concrete because it would be better for the house. They did everything really quickly and efficiently. They were very professional and nice. He had a crew of about eight to ten people. They were excellent. I would definitely use them again.
