I was the victim of a hit-and-run, damaging the driver's side doors (fron and back). Abra is the repair facility supported by my insurance, Geico. My research turned up both good and bad reports on them, so I was a bit hesitant. However, everything was handled professionally and in a timely manner. After the repair, I noticed more wind noise than before from the doors. I returned and they adjusted the doors to a tighter seal to correct this. The have a warranty on all work done. I am very satisfied and would go there again. (The $500 spent is my insurance deductible. The total repair cost was over $3500.)

I have used Abra in West Allis on 4 occasions now to repair dings and paint chips and scrapes. Each time, I have been very happy with the work and the experience of working with them. Their convenient express estimate service allows me to drop off my car with an Enterprise rental car waiting for me. Within a few hours, I receive a phone call with an estimate of the repair costs. Once I give them the go ahead, the car is repaired within the next 24-36 hours. They keep me updated throughout the process and always return the car on time and within the estimated cost. Their excellent customer service, convenient and timely repair process, and beautiful end product keep me happy enough to return time and again.

My car got broken into last night, One of the windows was smashed into pieces and some gadgets stolen. Lucky for me it was sunny today and not snowing. I filed a police report and opened a claim with my insurance company. I called 7 other companies on the Angie's list, some of them gave me an estimate of $290, others gave a fair price but they wanted me to wait till Monday. Larry, the person who performed the repair, even cleaned out the broken pieces of glass that were shattered all over the car and I didn't even ask him to do that for me. Excellent service.

In January 2011 my wife was driving our 1999 Ford Taurus SE sedan on a snowy morning. The roads were a little slick and he overestimated the braking quality of the car, right into the back of a Dodge Ram conversion van. There was a noticeable amount of damage to the car, including a shredded bumper and deformed hood. Our insurance company, Farmer's, suggested we go to Abra because they 'trust the shop and wouldn't need to approve an estimate'. Being relatively new to the area we went with the adjuster's suggestion and took the car to Abra in West Allis. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Kelly, who called us every day to give us updates about the repair process. When they found damage which would delay repairs because of ordering parts, they called and informed us immediately. Their quality control is very good, too. The hood didn't look quite right so they ordered a new hinge and installed it the next day, before delivering the car to us. They also did all of the painting in-house and everything matched perfectly. Of course the insurance company dictated the types of parts they used on the vehicle and everything was quality recycled parts. Their markup was 25% on the parts but there was no labor listed on the bill, so I guess it's in their markup. They completely cleaned and detailed the car before giving it back to us: inside and out. It hasn't looked this good in years! Another nice feature of this shop is that you can rent cars directly from them. So, if you get in an accident and need a rental, you get it directly from them. Finally, I think there are certain merits with taking your car to a repair shop your insurance company prefers. Since I took it to Abra my insurance company informed me that any repairs needed could be done without approval and without the threat of totaling out the car. I was a little worried that the $2400 repair might not look good to an insurance company when the car is worth little more than that, but didn't receive any threats at all about totaling it. Because of the great customer service and wonderful work they do, I would definitely use Abra auto body in the future.

Called on Friday before Memorial Day weekend for service. Said they would come on Tuesday. They arrived promptly, were courteous and handled within timeframe as quoted. Very satisfied with work. It's been 1.5 weeks and no issue with new window.

There was no actual body work just the bumper. They did check out the car for any hidden damage. The facility was clean, modern and the technicians were very helpful. They answered my questions and had rental cars available. They had the car done when they said they would.

This is a preferred repair shop for my insurance, so I was sent there by my insurance company. The coordinator was VERY helpful. From start to finish, he kept me up to date and looked out for my needs. He was ready when I got there for my appointment. I had the initial evaluation and a car rented (they have car-rental personnel on-site) within 15 minutes. They initially promised the work would be done in 5 days, but delays put it back to 8 days. They always kept me up-to-date and were very professional. They delivered a clean and good-as-new CRV!! They even called me one week later to make sure that it all still looked good and drove well.

They folks are very accommodating; right on the money with the estimate. They arrange for the rental vehicle and kept me informed of any delays on repairs. The body work is outstanding; very well done; paint is blended perfect and it comes with a lifetime warranty. Kelly is an excellent estimator and she goes out of her way to make sure you are completely satisfied with the work.
