The technician came out to install the water to our new refrigerator. He said that we had to have a plumber come out to do it but did not explain why. Then he left. He said that someone would call to schedule the plumber. That afternoon, I called to check on why we needed a plumber and when they would be out. I was told that they didn't know but would call back that afternoon or early the next morning to explain and schedule for our install. I never received a call back. I called again on Wednesday morning. I was told that it would be over a week before a plumber would come out. I asked why I never received a return phone call Monday or Tuesday. The person, (I believe it was Laura?) huffed and said she did not know, but it wouldn't change the install date. She was very rude. I let her know that I was disappointed in the lack of responsiveness and not receiving a call back. She continued to be short in her responses. At that point I said that I was going to go back to the store and ask for a different service provider. I called HHGregg to order a different installation provider. At that time I was notified that the installation representative that I had spoken with had embellished my disappointment. She reported to HHGregg that I "slammed" the phone and was rude to her, which is impossible because I have a cell phone which does not slam. Yes, I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism. I did tell her that I was not going to use their service. It appears that she was being retaliatory by embellishing the story of our conversation. This is just another example of the lack of professionalism.

Installation Management installed and delivered my refrigerator washer and dryer fast and proficiently with the same apt day they said they would come. They also perfomed some plumbing work to the house a week before. The guy was extremley nice and well knowledgable. He troubleshooted the problem and fixed it within a hour. Im so glad i went with this company instead of a different company and would recommend and use them again in a heart beat. Well worth it!

I bought a dishwasher at Best Buy. The sales person scheduled a day for installation, a week and a half later (that was the first available appointment), and told me I would get a call the day before with a 2 hour time frame. I told her that I work in the mornings and would prefer an afternoon appointment, and she made a note of that. The day before I got a call at 4:30 pm with a FOUR hour morning time frame. I told the woman I spoke to that it wouldn't work for me, and she rescheduled for another appointment a week later. Once again, they called me the day before, this time at 6:30pm and told me that I had again been scheduled for a morning appointment. I explained, once again, that I needed an afternoon appointment, and the woman on the phone told me that she would make a note and they would "do their best" to try to schedule me in the afternoon. Tonight, the day before our appointment, they called at 7pm to tell me that, once again, I was scheduled for a morning. I told the caller (Erin) that, as I had explained twice before, I was unable to do mornings. She said, in a rude tone "Well, as we told you before, the appointments are computer generated based on the best route." I told her "You did NOT tell me this before. You told me that you would make a note and try to get me an afternoon appointment." I am now scheduled to get my dishwasher Saturday, which is nearly 3 weeks since I purchased it. If I had known that they would contract out to a company that made the whole situation so difficult, I would have arranged to hire a company of my choosing to install the dishwasher rather than pay them and IMI to give me the runaround for three weeks. Update: Friday night they called and told us our window was 9-1. Saturday morning at 10:30 they called to tell us there was a "truck breakdown" and they were moving our window to 12-4. At 12:30 we got a call from the tech saying he'd be here around 3 or 3:30. He finally showed up at 3:30. He was very nice and did the work he was hired to do, but it was just another example of the poor management we saw with IMI.
