Great. Joel was very prompt and very clean. He told us what he was going to do and he did just that! He provided an accurate estimate and was very clean. The paint looked great and if he had a question, he clarified things right away.

He did an awesome job. It only took about two days but there are no drips or sloppiness anywhere. I am so glad I hired him. We had Venetian plaster on one wall and he covered it really well. There was a plaid in the bathroom that he was able to cover up so you can’t even tell that it was there. He just did a really nice job. He was very nice and very professional. You worry about having people in your house who could be sleazy, but he was professional and he was dressed nicely. He painted a couple of extra doors for us too. We will definitely use him again.

I contacted Joel and he was out and we reviewed the job. I received a very detailed quote the next day as to what was and wasnot included in the price. This was great I knew exactly what to expect. He worked around my schedule to make an appointment to schedule the job. He also suggested I use eggshell vs satin paint which I am very happy on the appearance. We have cathedral ceilings with very high walls with an awkward layout. The work looks fantastic. I have already scheduled him to paintan additional room. Excellent Job.

Joel was wonderful to work with!! Shortly after we contacted Joel, he came out to the house to see what was involved and delivered his quote to us quickly. The project took 4 days to complete-he arrived prompt each day and cleaned up before leaving. He did an awesome job and his pricing is very reasonable. Would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others!! We did have some difficulty deciding on paint colors and Joel referred us to Martha Ziegler (of Mazi Staging and Design) who was fantastic in choosing colors and also coordinated everything with Joel. They are a great team to work with!! Thanks again, Joel!!

I contacted Joel on a Tuesday, he called back the same day. After talking to Joel and reading other reviews we sent him our down payment and were lucky enough to get on his schedule within a short period of time. Joel took care of color matching the paint so the kitchen cabinets and woodwork would be the same color as the woodwork in the adjoining family room. He showed up on time, worked at a steady pace and was pleasant to have in our home. He didn't mind questions and our comings and goings (which at times was through the kitchen). The first day he primed and applied the 1st coat of paint and the next day was the 2nd coat of paint. He came back a 3rd day just for some minor touch-up. I was amazed at how fast he worked and we are very pleased with the results. My husband removed all the cabinet doors and hardware and put it all back together. I'd like to add that my husband, who had already painted the cabinets 3 times since we bought the home in 1972, said he wouldn't paint them again and is quite particular, was impressed with the end result. We would definitely call Joel again.

Joel was a delight to work with. His responsiveness to any of our requests was prompt and courteous. Above all, his work was outstanding! We are so happy with the new paint job. Once we remodel the windows in our dining room, we will ask him to paint that room as well. Joel arrived on time and got to to work immediately. He was always professional and courteous. He was so neat and clean about his work that we almost didn't know a painter had been here. We actually enjoyed the time watching him work - very efficient, no wasted time and a great job. Also, he was helpful in helping us decided what type of paint would work best on various walls and ceilings.

Joel was prompt in coming out to give me a quote (within an hour of me contacting him!). He e mailed me an estimate for the job and we set up a date for him to start the work. He was pleasant and easy to work with. He arrived on time and was able to finish in one day. He was gracious as I went around and inspected his work, touching up a small spot here or there. When he was finished, he took $50 off the total cost because his original quote included the ceiling (which we didn't have him paint). I felt this showed a lot of honesty on his part. I am very happy with the work he did.

Joel showed up right on time every morning and cleaned up after himself. You didn't even know he was in the middle of a huge project. We also picked out really bold and dark colors that upon completion really updated the look of the house. He did a flawless job. Thank you!

Considering Joel was working alone, he completed this job in record time. It was a duplex, up and down, and he finished both in a very timely fashion. Lovely man to work with, very amiable and professional. I am out-of-state and appreciated that it went over seamlessly.

He arrived on time and took great care in explaining details to us. His pricing was VERY reasonable. He is personable and well informed. We did not go with him for several reasons. He could not accomodate our dates; he is booked way in advance. So, that made the decision easy. However, we were also unsure whether he was the best for this particular job. We had a very large project with some areas with very high ceilings over expensive items (grand piano). We expected the use of scaffolding to decrease risk of painting mishap/problems, which he did not appear to use. We had concerns about the fact that he does not carry liability insurance, even though his Angie's listing states insured. For most jobs, he stated he paints alone, which is great for consistent quality. However, we were not sure about the time involved for this big job. Bottom line, we would definitely call him again, particularly if we had a job that was suitable for a single painter.

Excellent job. Each room received two coats of quality paint. Joel work around our schedule and finished ahead of schedule. Would definately consider him again for any interior painting needs and would highly recommend him to others.

Joel did a great job and no mess. We actually had a misunderstanding on the paint color on one of our ceilings and without any hassle, Joel repainted it without additional expense to us. (NOTE: we were at fault for not making our color choice clear- not Joel's fault). I was amazed at how quickly he got the work done and he was great about having my children around some of the time. I would recommend him to anyone. He did a beautiful job and he was significantly cheaper than his competitors who don't do the work themselves and have a "team" do the work.

Joel was a true pleasure to work with from the start. His quote came in very quickly - and his work was more than we expected. He said he would arrive at 8:00 am each day and he was in our driveway by 7:50 at the latest each day unloading his car. He was very respectful of our schedule and worked with me to ensure our life and routine was disrupted as little as possible. He was wonderful and we will definitely use him again!

Joel was easy to work with from start to finish. He kept all his commitments and did a vary nice job. He arrived on time and finished when he said he would. I will definitely use him for the rest of the rooms in our house.

I was very pleased with Joel. Not only was he quick to respond to my initial contact, he also came out the same day and gave me an estimate. He was always punctual on the job and efficient. He managed to work around 3 dogs, a screaming cockatoo and a 12yr old in a wheelchair. Joel was pleasant and polite and took pride in what he did. I have no hestitation in using him again and have him pegged for when the kitchen is reworked.

We were satisfied with what he charged, and we were satisfied with his mannerisms.

Overall it went very well. He gave us a quote and started work when it was convenient for us. He did approximately 2 rooms a day, which worked well for us, so that we could move furniture away from the walls. He was careful about keeping paint from splattering onto furniture or other surfaces and was careful to put things back where they belong when he was done. I would hire him again to paint the remaining rooms when we are ready to do those rooms.

Joel works by himself and did a great job. He basically did 1 or two rooms a day, which actually made moving stuff out of the way easier. I don't know where all our stuff would go if a crew were here trying to do everything in one or two days. My kids were sick several days during the job and Joel worked well with this distraction. Important thing to check when getting bids, Joel was the only who bid two coats for walls and ceilings--and he was still less than the 3 other bids I got. I would not have gone with Joel, but for checking him out on BBB and then Angie's list, where Da Vinci Interiors is rated well. Keep up the good work, Joel.

Joel recently painted a master bedroom and a small bedroom that is currently used as an office/den area. He was most helpful with selection of paint colors and textures/finishes to fit the decor of the above rooms. Joel presented himself in a most professional manner, arriving punctually and completing the job in a timely fashion. He is a very neat painter, leaving the finished area clean and presentable. I highly recommend Joel for any interior painting, either residential or business.

Joel did an excellent job. He was very prompt for his estimate appointment, provided an estimate the next day, and once the job was scheduled he was right on time every morning and worked all day each day until the job was done. He is very, very neat in his work and provides excellent quality. Joel also provided valuable & helpful suggestions as to paint colors and gave me the use of his paint color fan for a few weeks while I decided on the colors I wanted.
