The plumbers did show up on time. There was an issue in shutting my water off as the handle broke off in their hand when they tried to turn it off.  I don't dispute that this can happen.  Pete did show me his work when finished and explained how to shut off the water with the new valves that he installed.  I noticed that the floor was wet and there were dirty foot prints but decided I could clean it up when they left.  Within 10 minutes of them leaving I noticed that there was a leak.  i called Pete and he said he was on the west side of Madison and would get back when he finished his next job.  I explained that I needed to be to work in less than 2 hours and he said he would be back by then.  He was not back by then and when I called him again he suggested I just leave my door unlocked for him.  I had no choice.  He called me later to tell me that the leak was repaired.  When I returned home from work I found that it was still leaking.  I called twice in the morning and finally Pete called back and said he was sending a plumber over to make the repairs. The repairs were made and so far no leaks (2 days).   I told Pete in our initial phone call that I wanted an energy efficient water heater and asked him what kind he installed as MG&E was offering $50.00 rebates on many brands and I could just give him a model number.  He explained to me that he only installed energy efficient heaters and it cost the last person $85 more to get the $50 rebate.  Foolishly I believed him.  I now have a water heater with an annual energy rating of costing $102 more per year than the 20 year old unit he replaced.  Shame on me for that one.  Overall, I am very disappointed with this company and would never use them again.

An A+ experience.  Pete returned initial call quickly.  Arrived on time.  Knew immediately where and what to check.  Identified problem and proved it by showing where water was seeping into fixture.  Professionally caulked area.  Explained how to dry the area and check in the next few days to see if leakage had stopped.  Call if problem persists.  Fair billing and offered a senior discount that was much appreciated.

They were all good and I was quite pleased with it. They were prompt, did the work quickly and professionally. I would recommend them. They were responsive and were able to set up a time quickly. They came and fixed it and did a good job.

I had turned the water off to the whole house. I wanted to fix it myself but got no help at the hardware store. So I called Pete from work. He was just finishing a job and would meet me at my house in 1/2 hour. I drove home, he showed up promptly and fixed the faucet in 15 minutes. Something that would have taken me 4 hours or more. It pays to call a professional. Very happy with his service.

They came in and looked at the job, then went to the truck and got different tools. Then they snaked it and fixed it and flushed it out.

He did an excellent job. I called him on Sunday night and he came on Monday morning. I was trying to do it myself, but it had corroded itself so I could get it out. I already had the replacement so he put it in for me. It hasn't leaked so far. He charged me for an hour and a half and he was working on it for all of it, it was probably close to 2 hours that he was here altogether.

He is a one man operation. We called him initially and he was going to come over and then he didn't because he was sick. He hurt his back. But he came back later and had it all done. He called us and told us what happened so we didn't have a problem with it. We would definitely hire him again if we needed to.

Prompt responses to my phone calls. Gave me an estimate over the phone. Estimate was in ballpark of or lower than all others, tho Pete's was the only one to offer me a "scratch and dent" heater at a discount. Next day service. A little off on arrival time, but I was home all day anyway so it didn't matter. Mindful of my floors and custom wood staircase. Professional and nice. Asked for rags to clean up, left rags in appropriate place. Worked quickly and efficiently.

For every project Pete provided an upfront estimate that was very reasonable. The quality of the work is perfect. The only negative is that because he is so good he is in great demand and many times he has to prioritize urgent calls from other projects over a commitment to your project.

Pete was just a little late, but did a nice job ... he even drilled the hole through my sink for the spout when he wasn't expecting to and did not change the quote. He was reasonably priced, and personable. I will use him again if needed.

Pete was prompt in his response to our inquiry. He completed the job in the same day in what seemed to us a very efficient manner.

The work description says it all except that I was impressed with his advice and his speedy response time.

The work was performed well and without problems. Everything was completed on time and on budget. Minor issues were the fact that I had to remind the plumber to send me the estimate after waiting for two weeks. Also, during the work a light bulb was destroyed and the base left in the light fixtures making it hard to remove later. But these issues are in fact minor.

He was punctual. His prices were very good, and the lowest of other plumbers I checked. Each time we have used him we have been very happy with him.

Overall, it was a very satisfactory experience.

Great. When he came for the leak, it turned out to be in minor problem that he fixed in a few minutes. Instead of charging me the emergency rate he just charged the regular rate. While there, he advised me about getting a new disposal and fixing the strange plumbing and told me that I should buy a disposal because it would be much cheaper than buying it from him. He showed up right on time and finished the work quickly and professionally.

See above, and the only small issue I had was he was wondering if we had a cleaning crew that may have tossed something (e.g., mop water) into the toilet. He made a comment about Hispanic workers that I took to mean there was a communication issue sometimes with those who spoke Spanish. Of course, it just put me slightly on edge, but I plan to assume the best and use him again for my home needs. His price was very, very fair! He was also pleased to learn about Angie's List, and not worried!
