Merlin 200,000 Miles Shop - Kenosha

I have been using them for three or four years. I am going to continue to use them.

I took my vehicle there to do a specific task because I thought I knew what the problem was. They did that and it did not fix it -- it was a very minor repair. They did not charge me for that after they realized it was not fixing the problem. They showed me what I actually needed to do.

The owner upgraded to Continental tires instead of the General tires, so I paid extra for the upgrade. Michael Decker, the owner of Merlin, honored the tire lifetime warranty even though I wasn't perfect on tire rotation and alignments. Brakes are all new with new tires. The brakes were installed professionally as were the tires. It drives like a new car. I have gone to Merlin since it opened and have developed a strong trust with both Mike Decker and Luke. I would highly recommend going there for car repair.

Once again, the technicians at Merlin did an outstanding job. My wife and I have been going there for years and the guys at the shop always take the best care of us and our cars. They have pretty much done everything on out cars from replacing light bulbs to repairing engines to replacing tires to changing windshield wipers. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this shop or the guys that work there. Won't take my car anywhere else!

We went to this shop to have our car inspected and to get a quote..we were told to leave our van there overnight and that they would have the inspection done by morning which they did not. They called us later that day and told us it would cost $250, so went went some place else and ended up only paying $130.

Technician/Owner was professional and knowledgeable. Gave prices upfront and was accurate. Work was completed within estimated time. Very pleased with facility and professionalism. Owner provided loaner car during service time.

great, they are very honest

I go to this shop for several years with different cars. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. I did oil change and filter replacement for many times and service is quick. From major services they replaced my Acura's front brake pads and resurfaced rotors. I felt difference immediately. Price was significantly cheaper that at dealer place. I'm considering and other breaking job there withing next few weeks.Only once when I sent my wife there with her mini-van for simple oil/filter change for some reason they talked her in into using synthetic oil that was ~twice more expensive and unnecessary.

The problem was fix but it stop working again within two days. I've took the car in and it was done again yesterday 10-15-11. It is too premature for me to tell if this was fix properly this time once and for all at this point.

They were very courteous, and also showed me issues that may come up soon and suggested what would need to be done. They were very reasonable in price. I would definitely go back again if i need some work done.

Super, service was fast and and professional. Potential items that will needs servicing soon were also mentioned. I truly believe their goal is my goal and that is to have a car hit 200,000 miles just as their advertising states.
