Holly's Housekeeping

For the first few months, great. Holly & Company were here for about 18 months before the birth of her son this past July. However, her long-time helper did not come with her because of a theft issue at a bar (not a client) she told me. She was also dealing with a divorce and breakup issue and had car issues, help issues, etc. She is a great cleaner when she is focused. She does show up and works very fast (she even shows up and lets herself in when you're on vacation by "mistake" so she really likes to show up). By now, you get the idea. I couldn't figure out what was going on until a few weeks before the baby was due they told me she was expecting within weeks (I didn't notice due to her work attire). Anyway, it has been very upsetting since the cleaning went downhill and my son lost his element collection in these past few months that he had been working on since he was 10 years old. The same woman Holly let go in 2014, reappeared to take her place while she was out with the baby. Holly doesn't remember ever telling me why LeighAnn was let go in the first place - she can be honest and she may honestly not remember telling me honestly why she let her go. All I know is the element collection is missing and Holly is busy with her baby. Tough luck for me and who cares about my son's element collection! Great attitude. Lastly, she threatened police because "I'm harrassing her". I doubt she pays taxes to help us have a police force. Just total chaos ... Too bad. She's not all bad, but you definitely don't want someone who takes being allowed the privilege of coming into your home so lightly. Considering she can't remember when you're on vacation and can't remember to tell you she'll be on maternity leave and can't remember to introduce you to her replacements and make sure you're comfortable, well, you get the picture. My locks will need to be changed this week since she's too busy to return the key and can't remember my address.

Holly told us she ran out of time, yet gave us a flat rate.

Holly then told us that if she had to come back and re-do the sink, bathroom floor, ect, she would charge us again
for work that should of been done in the first place.
Holly threatened to take my husband and I to court over work and services she did not provide.
Of course we paid her but would never recommend her to anyone.
She would not give me her business name either - just that the check had to be written to her personally.

Holly and her helper were very capable, worked quickly and efficiently.  They seemed to take pride in the work they were doing, which was wonderful to see.
Holly shared with me that the particular floor cleaner I had was recently taken off the market because of toxic affects on children and pets... really important for me to know, since I have a little four-legged canine roommate.
We even had a circuit breaker malfunction. Holly didn't skip a beat.  she had a long enough cord to plug in from the bathroom and completed shampooing the living dining room, even as the room got darker as the rain started.
Well done.  Only issue was that  a week had passed before Holly called me, after I had sent Holly a first text requesting her help .
She had some issues with arriving at the time we had set for starting the work. Not a problem for me, but could be for a family with children who have a tighter schedule.  She did reach out to say she was running late. Scheduled arrival was 1 p.m.  She arrived at 3:45, but worked VERY quickly and did a great job.
I would call her again if I need her services again.

They are always on time. They always do a great job. The go above and beyond to keep me happy and are very flexible when I need to change something or have them come at a different time. I highly recommend Holly's Housekeeping.

I had her service before for a very reasonable rate per hour. I dropped her after nearly a year as they would not show up as scheduled. About 6 months later I got a text message that she wanted to clean my home as times were tight for $75.00 flat fee. I was paying her $15 an hour each for 2 of them. Generally I paid about 45.00 to clean the home so I did pay $30 more. She came twice and I haven't heard from her since which has been a month now. I'm done with her service.

There service to me of nearly a year should indicate how happy I am with there service. There the best service I could ever want. I'm very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone in the area.

My first contact on the phone went well although since this was my first experience with housecleaning I was expecting a more formal/professional conversation with her asking the questions. The service is two friends who work together. They came to see the house and get more info from me before coming to clean. I I have a standard 3 bedroom ranch with 1 1/2 baths. I work during the day so I wasn't home when they cleaned and I don't know how long they stayed but the house looked great and smelled clean when I came home.

The first visit was at the end of September, I told them I was needed to throw a party quick (new home selling venture) and needed my house clean, I also mentioned I had carpet cleaning scheduled and she did that as well. She has her own commercial machine, and she beat the competitors price. The did an amazing job, I have them every 2 weeks now, wonderful! They bring all of their own stuff and will do whatever you want, from changing sheets, to folding laundry, which is NOT something I was looking for. I live in a large ranch, and they are awesome! No problems! Showed up the same day I called for a tour and estimate...it was GREAT! I believe they cleaned it within 36 hours. Highly Recommend!

I had talked to Holly over the phone and she gave me an hourly rate for two people to clean. I made an appointment as I live in Roscoe Illinois and she said they travel quite a distance from Janesville to clean. They came to my house on time and had all their own cleaning supplies and vacuum cleaner. I told them what I needed done to include some laundry, and folding and putting it away when done. They cleaned the whole house and did a very good job and will be cleaning my home every 2 weeks. They work hard and my only little complaint was when the top of my stove was cleaned, it wasn't done to my satisfaction as some burnt on food was still around the gas burner that wasn't cleaned off. Everything else was fine. Great attitude by the two women and all in all I give them high marks.
