Haye Dental Group

I don’t use a particular dentist there. It is a group and so I just use whoever is scheduled. The dentists are great. They are always so friendly. My husband and three children all go there. They just always know who we are and ask us about stuff that we talked about in the last visit. They just really seem to care. They do a good job talking about problem areas in the oral care. They give great suggestions. My daughter has had some dental issues and she knows when her dentist appointment is and she cannot wait. She is eleven years old. She has had teeth pulled and fillings. She just loves her dentist. I never had trouble getting in.

My overall experience with them is good. One doctor there, Dr. John R. Kaminski, made good judgments about what procedures to use and there were other dentists there that wanted to do something different, and he took a more conservative approach, which I appreciated. I like him a lot. Their staff is great. Regarding bedside manner, he is really good.

I really have never gone to another dentist that I can remember. It's a family dentistry. They always seem to make time for me. It's not like a real, small, local dentist company. It's local; they only have two shops in Janesville. It makes it seem like a small town dentist, so that's nice. With regard to availability, I gave them a short window. Basically I called them on Tuesday and asked them if I could come in on Friday which is when work would allow. They were able to put me on an emergency list, and they called me back within the day to squeeze me in for a Friday appointment. As far as availability goes, they are outstanding. The environment was nice; however I did have to wait for about forty five minutes without a reason why. That's one thing I was a little concerned about. The office environment was very clean; there was a big screen TV playing a news channel. They had water and coffee. It was airy; it looks really nice and very welcoming. With regard to punctuality, they didn't explain why they were late. There were only two of us in there. One person was an older woman who had to go through some medical forms and there was only one person at the desk. I got there about twenty five minutes before my appointment to have time for the paper work. I didn't actually see a dentist or hygienist until forty five minutes after my appointment. So I had to spend one hour sitting down and waiting. The staff was very friendly. When I went in that day, they seemed a little short staffed at the front desk. By the time my appointment was done, there were two folks working at the front desk. It was a 3 o' clock appointment and I didn't get back home until 5:30. It was a long wait. With regard to bedside manner, they were nice. With regard to communication, the front desk was unable to tell me why I was waiting for so long. But as far as the dentist and the hygienist go, they were very clear. With regard to billing and administration, I am in the Active Duty Dental Program, so I don't see a bill. I haven't heard any complaints about that. They haven't called me for creditors or anything.
