My daughter uses the garage she opened and closed the door with no problems. Later, when she returned, the opener failed to close or open all the way. When pressed, there was a buzzing noise, and the door was stuck halfway open. I looked in the yellow pages and found Andrews Overhead Door. The person who answered the phone was funny and helpful. Since a lot of bad weather was forecast, he dispatched the technician that evening so that snow would not come into the garage. There was no service call charge or after hours charge. The technician told me the opener had been installed in 1994 (when the garage was built) and I could either have it repaired or replaced. Since it was almost 20 years old, I decided to have the opener replaced. He had to return the next day as he did not have an opener in the truck. He did secure the door before leaving. The next day, he arrived on time and promptly installed the opener. He was polite and fast. I did not have time to check the List or call for estimates, as I needed the repair done quickly, but this company was great. They are also family owned. They take checks, but no charge cards.
