Carpentry By Roy

I had Roy spend a few days at my house to complete some repairs. He framed in and drywalled 3 skylights that I just recently had installed. He completed some drywall repair, and removed and installed 4 new light fixtures. He also installed one new smoke detector, installed a new vanity and toilet and installed two new closers for exterior doors, including a new sweep for my main door. I appreciate that he was able to go to home depot with me to purchase a new toilet, as one would not fit into my sedan. His work is very good. He works for cash only (no checks), which is his only setback and at $30/hr this did get a little complicated. He did need to come back to the house to fix a leaky drain on the vanity that he installed.

My front deck was started by another guy that couldnt finish the job. I called Roy to finish the deck as I had a deadline for it to be finished. Roy came in and showed my many mistake that the first person had made. In order to fix the mistakes and have the deck up to code Roy had to just about take everything down from the first person and rebuild it. What took the first person over 3 months Roy did in 3 days. He put more support under the flooring of the deck, finished placing deck broads down, made a hand rail and siding to finish deck. enclosed the lower part of the deck. Roy replaced siding the was taken down from the house by the first person. Roy really did a wonderful job on my deck.
