Description of Work: The service was pre paid. When Bill came to look at the job he said that if he could have seen the job before I had purchased his services he would have not accepted the job. I told him I understand and he suggested that I request a refund from Angie's list.

Description of Work: Installed plastic sheeting underneath deck. Installer went the extra mile and located and installed the exact size and type of sheeting needed. Once we had the correct sheeting the job was quickly finished.

+ 0 moreBill arrived promptly and had the necessary equipment. Some of screws I had were not adequate and he used his own. The medicine cabinet proved difficult but he finished it without further charge even though it took longer than the two hours. The only mild complaint I might offer is his drill was not fully charged, but the time it took to recharge was more than made up for by the extra time he put in to finish the job he had started. I am completely satisfied with his service and will definitely use him again.

We had recieved multiple bids from other contractors. Bill's bid and idea was the best option and least expensive. He came over on time and worked efficiently and cleanly. I would recommend him to anyone.

+ -1 moreBill came to my house and measured the old steps (and some other measurements). While about a week passed, he came back and made a concrete pad for the future steps to rest on. After that I didn't see him for a few days, but he wasn't idle--he built the new steps at his shop. Then he returned to my house with the new steps in the back of his pickup. He tore out the old steps and loaded them into his pickup. The same day he installed the new steps. They are rock solid! If I could give Bill and Handy Does It a higher grade I would!

My last handyman (moved) was less cost & did not have a min. etc. I think his price is a little high! But he is licensed so that's way I guess?
Description of Work: Taking beds apart, he changed two beds a King & a Queen from one room to another. Changed two main light fixtures in main bathroom. Changed small fluorescent light fixture in laundry room. Fixed a door that was stuck. Took a few large items from garage to the dump.
