I love their communication and their professionalism. They had worked previously on my Beatle pick-up and did a fantastic job. What I liked about them is that they would call me every day and tell me what they did, what they planned on doing and what they found. The communication is unlike anything I had ever seen before. It is really good. They are probably the cheapest guy in town, but I know for a fact that, when I walk out of the door, it has been fixed right. We had an issue one time with a part that had fallen off and they replaced it.

Great Service and explanation of problems and efforts to solve the problems

Did a complete inspection and recomended differential service $50.00 and Motor Vac service for the fuel system for $118.00
(not sure the car needed this). Completed the work on time.

One component, a valve related to charging the system, failed. This required getting a replacement from a distributor in Reno, which was expedited overnight. Gaynor's immediately offerred to arrange a rental car since this delayed the predicted completion in one day.
Over the past two years, I have gone into Gaynor's openly expressing that I anticipated more major work and costs, and they have consistently resolved the issues with far less expense on what was actually needed. After getting some recent recommendations from a local GM dealer, Gaynor's cut the list in half, several being totally unnecessary or unwarranted.

I have been going to them for probably 15 years. I like their punctuality and professionalism.

I left my truck with Gaynor's on March 22, 2010 for the day. I went that evening to pick it up and paid as normal. I drove it home that night and found that my coat and a ski sweater were ruined. They both had a dirty filthy grime on them. I had stopped off at Home Depot so I thought I must have leaned up against something there. The next day I went to work and came home. Once again, at home I noticed that I had wrecked another rain coat and fleece shirt. Then, I realized that it was my truck's seat belt that was wrecking my clothes. Obviously, the Gaynor employees had not taken precautions to keep my seat belt clean. Thus, their lack of professional courtesy left me with 2 ruined coats, a ruined ski sweater, and a ruined fleece shirt. In summary, I have taken numerous vehicles in for oil changes over the years and I have never had such a filty job done. The actual work may have only cost $149.58, but my wrecked clothes were another $500.00 or so. I just want to let other folks know about this.

I think they do very good work but their price is a little higher than some others. I have been very happy with their service.

THEIR WORK IS GOOD (BOTH UPTOWN LOCATIONS), BUT EXPENSIVE. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR EVERY DIAGNOSIS (MIN OF $50), FOR EVERY "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT (SAME), AND MORE THAN AVERAGE FOR EACH JOB.

NEW ALTERNATOR WAS ADDED. THEY ALSO FOUND A LEAK IN OUR GASKET, SO NEW INTAKE MANIFOLD AND GASKET INSTALLED. IN ADDITION CHANGED THERMOSTAT, ANTI-FREEZE AND FLUSHED TRANSMISSION.

THESE ARE QUALITY PEOPLE AND BACK UP THEIR WORK WITH SATISFACTION GUARANTEE, WHICH I HAVE USED WHEN THERE WAS A PROBLEM. THEY DO GOOD WORK AND BACK IT UP.

THE MECHANIC WAS FRIENDLY AND PROMPT. COST WAS REASONABLE TO ALL AUTO SHOPS. ALL STAFF WAS PROFESSIONAL AND EAGER TO PLEASE. WOULD RECOMMEND TO OTHERS.
