Description of Work: They were very timely and prompt. $119 for the service call. The guy looked at the pump for 2 minutes and said this needs to be replaced (which is why I hired them). He then went outside and came back 10 minutes later with two quotes, one for $1,800 to just replace the pump and one for $5,400 to rebuild the well and replace the pump. The cost of the pump was $159. When I inquired about why it was so expensive, his response was “I know we’re not the cheapest, but when you’re the only one making the calls, you can charge whatever you want” I kindly said no and did the job myself which cost $200 for parts and new pump and took me 2 hours. Do not hire these people

Description of Work: What should have been a simple project has turned into a four week ordeal. I was quoted $2500 for a bathroom faucet install which seemed high but I’m no expert so I paid 50% down. Long story short, three weeks later the work is still not done and I can’t even get a phone call back. Worst service. Don’t use this company.

Description of Work: Replaced an electric water heater in an apartment. Advised me of the code changes and what would need to be done to bring the install up to code. Potential customers should be advised that D&F does not give estimates over the phone. They will send a technician out to see the job before giving the estimate. The technician does charge a fee for the estimate, which is deducted from the cost of the job if you decide to have D&F do that job. D&F did a good job of removing and installing in a timely fashion.They were very careful to not track any dirt into the apartment and worked with us on the time to get the work done without disturbing the apartment renters.

Description of Work: Replaced gas water heater (was 23 years old and taking longer to recover hot water after using all of the hot water). Went to the store on the Eastside and chose the water heater we wanted. Made an appointment and paid for the install and water heater there. Was able to schedule within the next day. Technician came at the scheduled time frame and did a good job of installing.
