Work was acceptable. I was not happy with their pricing. I feel like it was price gouging

They arrived on time, did a quick evaluation to find the problem (leaking sprayer hose). Gave me choices (I picked "replace"). Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 affecting supply chains, they did not have the replacement. Since this was Friday afternoon, they used to the weekend to try and find the replacement - they were back on Monday AM to finish the installation. I would definitely use them again.

Wayne was punctual, professional, and forthcoming with trustworthy advice delivered with respect. It was clear from his quick assessment and detailed description of what he was seeing and recommending that he is knowledgeable and experienced. I really appreciated that he took his time to give me plenty of insight into how the process would unfold. He answered all my questions in depth and was quick to clarify any industry jargon I didn't understand. I was provided with an estimate and description of the scope of work via email.

I liked working with a journeyman plumber. He did a great job re-fitting a new faucet system into the space. Took him about 8 hours of work. My issue is with their pricing structure. I will probably look for services that charge hourly rates or 'by the job' - $3200 for 8 hours work was a bit steep for my budget. But, I have no issue with the quality of the work.

Poorly. After charging a $120 fee just to show up, they quoted $299 to unclog a shower drain, and $422 to detect if there is a water leak. I would never use this firm for any work.

D&F Plumbing was quick to responded and schedule our refresh. We purchased the shower liner and toilet and had things ready to go. The plumber came out and had the toilet in, no time flat; but when it came to the shower liner, this is where things we sideways. There was a lot of damage to the drywall, when removing and installing the new shower liner. We paid $4500 for the removal and install, but then had to hire Mr. Handyman to fix all the drywall that was damaged. I hate writing negative reviews, but alas, we will not be hiring D&F for any future projects.

Ben was fantastic! He came over right away, after traditional working hours. He was determined to find the cause of the leak. He did and he did a fantastic job replacing the line, cutting open a minimal amount of the ceiling and wall. He went above and beyond professionalism. I highly recommend D and F Plumbing!

The quoted me a price of $1800!! Can you believe that? For 1.5 hours of work plus parts they wanted $1800! I told the guy if he was sure as that was astronomical and I would not pay it. he then tried to talk me into getting new toilets. I told him no way I would use their comoany and I would be telling people about this rip off. Of course they still charged me $119 jut for coming out. On hour later I get call from the guy telling me his I pad made mistake and it would only be $800!! What bull as any professional would immediately know that $1800 was not the price. He should have immediately said it was wrong. What if I had been some old person who trusted him? Then he puts his supervisor on the line who tries to talk me in to it..NO way. Avoid these rip offs. Can you believe they still tried to charge $800 to fix this minor repair. I will be reporting them.

Phil D was great. He very quickly diagnosed the issues, gave me several options, and quoted a fair price. Job was completed quickly and without any issues. Very pleasant to work with, good customer service. Would definitely hire Phil D and D&F Plumbing again.

Randy Sosa and D & F were fantastic. They came about 8:30 pm on Mon eve, assessed the problem and finished their work yesterday. We were only w/o water 1 night, Mon. They came back today to tie into the sprinkler system.

Explain the amount of work required to repair. Dig out the meter box and replace the connections. Only had to loosen some connections and tighten them back together. Less that a hours worth of work and no parts cost nearly $1,000.

It went completely smooth, swift, and easy. The D&F office was great about scheduling and I was able to get a plumber to my house less than two days after my call. Joe arrived on time with another journeyman (Matt). They arrived clean, in company shirts, and masked. D&F even sent a text when Joe was on his way, with a picture of him so I knew who I was expecting. (Nice touch.) They were focused and professional, as well as pleasant. Joe discussed the service options with me, and understood what I needed as well as clearly communicated with me. Joe and Matt were awesome and I'm really glad I found D&F!

The plumber was here when scheduled to arrive. There was a problem that was created by the plumbers who installed the previous toilet, but the D & F plumber had the problem solved and correctly installed the new toilet without long delays or needing to go back to the shop. Everything he needed was in his truck.

The work and the technician was fine, but the price charged and the way this was transacted was highly suspect and I advise anyone to steer clear of this company. First, they would not give me a quote over the phone, even though they said they charge a flat rate and have a plullmber's book they would not even give me a ballpark estimate for fixing a leaking bathtub faucet. I should have ended the transaction there. Then they said they had someone in the area and could do it the same day. I asked if they charged a fee to come look and they said they had an inspection fee of $119 which was waved during the Covid Crisis. Then they asked for my card number, again I should have ended it there. The nice guy came out and said it would be $880. I said no way and thanked him for coming. He said then there was the $119 fee. I explained I was told this was waived. He said it was waived only if work was done, a piece of information the person the initial conversation left out, I believe intentionally to mislead me about he cost of their service. Then the technician said it could be done for $451. Interesting, no? Now I"m out $119 dollars if I don't go forward with the work. I should again have said no way, but they had my card number. Sigh. So, the guy was nice and I said ok, but I'll be leaving this review for dishonest business practices, not his fault, but definitely the fault of the company. So I ended up paying twice what I would have paid if I'd used a reputable plumbing service. Don't send any business their way. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce.
