Creekside Painting (Tony and another crew member) did an outstanding job painting our house. The painting was performed over two consecutive days and the results were outstanding. The house body and trim colors were applied exactly as we expected and there were no surprises. We would highly recommend Creekside Painting.

The initial meeting went well. The execution did not. The color we agreed upon was not put on the house. Another color was substituted without discussing it with us. I came home to a completely painted house in a colir I did mot like then and don't like now. After the painting was done, what was there to do but live with it. The new paint immediately peeled off the side door of our garage.

We had a great experience with Creekside repainting the outside of our house several years ago and selected them to do some interior work this year. Because of snow delays for several other projects they were able to move our job to the top of the list. Ted Hancock reviewed the site, made a few recommendations, and provided a quick quote for our consideration. Ted provided a recommendation for wallpaper removal and this proved to be very beneficial. We contracted separately with this person and the work was completed in 1 1/2 days with one bathroom having 2 layers of wallpaper and paint which was a challenge. Tony and Austin completed the interior painting work in 3 days and were very professional in their approach to the project. They thoroughly taped and protected all the living spaces including the chandeliers for the ceiling work and cleaned everything up afterwards. It was necessary to use an oil based primer for the one bathroom to avoid any remaining wallpaper that could not be removed from bubbling up due to moisture. Tony selected a quick drying paint that minimized the smell before the top coat was used. Job well done by all involved.

Nick and his crew we wonderful to work with! From the initial phone call until the end of service they were professional, polite, and understanding of my vision. Creekside had painted my Aunts home and she was very impressed with the workmanship! I have known throughout the years that the statement like that from her means a lot! They passed on the number and I made the call. Nick was prompt and walked through the process with not just me but now my next door neighbor! He gave us quotes that were well below other painters! There was no delay! Ben and Anthony arrived and began the transformation of our homes. As they began the trim to my home I began to change my mind on the color I had chosen. Nick, Ben, and Anthony stopped what they were doing and listened to what I pictured. They spent time working with me to make my vision come true. In the end, I had my beautiful home and it was because they were patient and understanding! If I was to summarize Creekside: Very professional and efficient Listened to my ideas and worked with me to make my vision come true Worked around my schedule Well within my budget! Easy to contact! I have their number in my cell phone and will recommend them without hesitation!!

We experienced very poor communication and extremely poor responsiveness with Creekside Contracting. It seems like it didn't matter what we wanted, and that they would do it their way or not at all. Over time, we became increasingly uncomfortable with the idea of them painting our house. We were very happy just to get most of our money back, and to be able arrange for someone else to paint our house. This other painter actually listened to what we wanted.

NOTE:  The "approximate" date of service is an estimate, as I'm unsure of the "exact" year my house was painted, but I'm estimating it to be around the Summer of 2006/2007.

The paint is peeling and you can see the original color of the house beneath the green paint I chose.  Nick's "A-Team" that he sent, was a bunch of college kids that were on Summer break and their "prep" before painting consisted of "ONE" kid power washing the "eaves" of my home ONLY!  Nick also promised to "use the very best paint and use two coats of paint", but there is no way two coats of paint were used on my house and there is NO WAY the "very best paint" was used if I can see the "original" gray house paint under the green paint he used to paint my house less than 10 years ago!  I was under the impression my house paint would last at least 15 years by the way Nick was selling his "services".  I know this review is 8 years AFTER I used his services, but I'm deeply upset that I now need to come up with the money to repaint my house SO SOON when my finances are not where they used to be.  Especially now, when I REALLY need a new roof!

I've already repainted by trim and gutters white two years ago because they looked so bad, but they still look terrible and so I'm looking for another painting company to repaint my home; once I come up with the money.

We have had many compliments on the finished results of the paint job and feel it definitely has served as a needed investment in preserving our home from the elements as well as adding to the beauty of the outside of the house.  Our home has a lot of detailing that is difficult to paint such as a wraparound porch so we very much appreciated the positive can-do attitude of the painters and the foreman.  We even had a bird's nest near the porch with babies and an upset pair of parents, but the paint crew was very cooperative in making certain the nest remained intact with a minimal of interference.  I would recommend them to anyone for quality and ease of collaboration.

We met with the business owner in February 2015 to get a bid.  We received his estimate (one of three bids from different businesses).  We had received bids from one other company in Vancouver who had only been in business one year.  One bidder no-showed. Creekside has been in business 30 years in this area. We said we wanted to have the painting done June or July 2015.
Here we are in June, our 21 year old house is painted and looks very good, actually beautiful.  Owner, Nick, discussed color options before contracting with us.  He understood our vision of our repainted home and was able to transform it into our dream home.  Because we were not prepared to buy the new door for the house at this time, Nick's crew painted our front door, making it look almost new.
The crew members were professional, very pleasant with each other and with us and our neighbors who came up to offer their opinions of the new colors on our house.  The crew showed up on time 3 days in a row, put in a full day's work taking care to cover our new gutters and all the windows.
The crew addressed questions of preference with us before proceeding if there was any question. They were in touch with the company owner the first day making sure they had the right paint, then showed me the paints to make sure that was my understanding of color choices.
The final bill was in keeping with the estimate, including our state sales tax.  Our neighbors tell us they appreciate the new colors and we are very happy with  the final product.
We wanted a local company who had been in the community for a while and Creekside was the one we chose.  We are so glad we did.  The whole job took 1/2 day to pressure wash the outside of the house and 2 1/2 days to complete the painting and cleanup with a crew of 3 painters.
We will most likely hire Creekside again in the fall to paint the inside of the house.  We would readily recommend Creekside LLC to others who want a good job done with quality paints for their home.

After meeting with Nick Springer for an interior painting estimate, I was a bit put off at his overbearing manner.  However it is difficult to find someone to do interior work in the summer (as most painters are booked with exterior painting jobs), and he was able to get someone out right away, so we hired Creekside Consulting to do the work.  After we agreed to hire them, Nick mentioned that his painter works for him "on the side", so we would have to pay him cash in order to get the work done that week.  On the positive side, the painter was very professional and did an excellent job on our room.  But when the work was finished and we went to pay him, he offered no receipt of services performed.  I didn't feel comfortable giving someone cash without any documentation, so I printed up a receipt on my computer and had him sign that he received the money.
Because the work on our bedroom was performed well, we decided to get another quote from Creekside Consulting for some exterior siding and trim touch-ups.  When I met with Nick Springer the second time, his demeanor was even worse than the first time.  I've seen other female reviewers mention his attitude, and I wonder if it's just a problem dealing with women.  I let him know we had unopened gallons of exterior paint for the touch-up work, but he said that our paint wouldn't dry in time because of the current weather and his guys would need to buy new paint (which I knew to be false information).  Once again, he said that I would need to pay cash (not check) to get the painting completed. Then he provided a quote that I knew was quite high considering it was only a few areas of touch-up, so I explained that I was going to review his estimate, along with other estimates we had received, with my husband before getting back to him.  He got immediately defensive and asked why I would need to consult with my husband before hiring a painter.
Because their company tried to sell me unneeded paint, provided no contracts or paperwork of any kind, expected cash payment for every job, and approached me with a condescending and overbearing attitude, I would never recommend them for a job.

Nick Springer(owner), and all of his crew which includes his son made for a very pleasant experience! The professionalism and niceness of this team was very refreshing. After 30 yrs they got it all figured out. We got our quote on Sept 4. By Sept 10 we had a beautiful new paint job. The 3 color samples were matched perfectly. They power washed and had all the painting done in 1 1/2 days. These young men are very hard working, fast and so nice and polite!

Creekside Painting came highly recommended and I was not disappointed.  The walk around for the estimate was very thorough and all of my questions were answered without feeling like I was asking something stupid.  The painting crew was on time, clean cut, and hard working.  I have since recommended Creekside to many of my coworkers and friends and they have all been very impressed.  Honestly, I don't think I would risk letting anyone else paint my house again now that I know I can trust Creekside.

The caulking was not removed and replaced. The employees basically used their finger to spread out the caulking and it looks very unprofessional.
The house was prepared and painted, in one day. It was to have two coats of paint. Instead they said they painted it with a "heavy coat of paint".
I would not recommend this contractor to paint anything for anyone.

Creekside Painting just completed painting the exterior of our home. We are very pleased with the results.  And the response to our request was expeditious and appreciated. The team of Chad, Tony, Caleb, Kevin, Dan and John exhibited great teamwork and professionalism,  accomplishing the 2200 square foot job in in just a day, plus half a day for touch up, clean  up and walk around. Their attention to detail made interacting with the crew a joy. And their use of top-quality products  should make this paint job last many years.

We will definitely use Creekside Painting again for any major painting projects and would confidently recommend them to our family, friends and neighbors.

Our house was in desperate need of painting.  It had been over 20 years since it had been painted.  Creekside helped with the color scheme as well as the painting itself.  They knew what was required to bring it back into good condition.  We, as well as our neighbors, are very pleased and impressed!  In addition to the painting itself, we appreciate the advise that was given as to how to keep the house looking good.
We can definitely recommend Creekside Painting.

Creekside Painting owned by Nick Springer did an excellent job painting our two story residence, both the interior, and exterior with three colors. The crew led by Nick's son Matt, was very skilled, very aware of our home schedule and coordinating with us so as to leave our property secure when we weren't home. They had great follow through leaving our property free of debris with all equipment left in a safe place. They worked hard for two long days, the second day was very hot. They were very careful to cover our house thoroughly with quality Sherman Williams paint. They were very sure to paint tight trim lines maintaining clean, distinct lines for the three different colors. The crew was friendly, respectful, quiet, and focused. We highly recommend Creekside for all your existing residential house repaints. You can trust them to do a grade A,TOP SHELF job....

I picked Creekside because of their good reviews and the fact that they are located nearby. Then the former owners recommended them too. So it was a no brainier that I would go with Creekside. The price sounded slightly more than I hoped, but after seeing all the detail that went into the job, it was a great value. They removed some patches of silicon caulking that should not have been used, and also sealed the upper side of my garage window which they indicated did not have proper flashing. After the job was completed, it looks beautiful.

I've used them twice. About nine of my neighbors used him. I found them through my neighbors and he said he was on Angie's List. He did a great job in the interior and just had him do the exterior about 3 weeks ago. There was a supervisor with the guys who come here and they are punctual. They were here when they said they were going to be here. The owner calls and does an inspection. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and in the fact that even more of my neighbors had hired them says a lot. They were hired before I moved here and they continue to be hired. There's only 24 houses in this development but obviously they have a wonderful reputation. My husband said it was a fair price. I can't say they are higher or lower but I guess they are a very fair price. The owner keeps you on top of things and he's there, he doesn't just send his people out to do it. He has a foreman that reports to him.

Excellent company and excellent workmanship.  Nick is extremely professional and personable.  Was on-time for all appointments and responded within 24 hours to the couple calls I made to him.  Allowed us time to make sure the job was done exactly as we wanted and came over to personally look at 2 minor issues and noted something he wanted to re-do that my wife and I had not seen.  The items were resolved that day  Competitive bid and lived up to everything he said he'd do in the contract.  The work team was very punctual, maintained a clean work site, protected all my plants/new roof/all surfaces from overspray or drips and answered any questions I had.  A very hard working, professional and experienced team with Tony at the lead.  He said that the job they would do would be "exactly what I'd expect to have if it was my own house" and took responsibility to make it happen that way.  Great attention to detail!

The neighbors have all commented on what a great job and great look the house has.

Although I won't need the house repainted for some time, I will certainly call Creekside when I do.
