NOTE: The "approximate" date of service is an estimate, as I'm unsure of the "exact" year my house was painted, but I'm estimating it to be around the Summer of 2006/2007.
The paint is peeling and you can see the original color of the house beneath the green paint I chose. Nick's "A-Team" that he sent, was a bunch of college kids that were on Summer break and their "prep" before painting consisted of "ONE" kid power washing the "eaves" of my home ONLY! Nick also promised to "use the very best paint and use two coats of paint", but there is no way two coats of paint were used on my house and there is NO WAY the "very best paint" was used if I can see the "original" gray house paint under the green paint he used to paint my house less than 10 years ago! I was under the impression my house paint would last at least 15 years by the way Nick was selling his "services". I know this review is 8 years AFTER I used his services, but I'm deeply upset that I now need to come up with the money to repaint my house SO SOON when my finances are not where they used to be. Especially now, when I REALLY need a new roof!
I've already repainted by trim and gutters white two years ago because they looked so bad, but they still look terrible and so I'm looking for another painting company to repaint my home; once I come up with the money.
Here we are in June, our 21 year old house is painted and looks very good, actually beautiful. Owner, Nick, discussed color options before contracting with us. He understood our vision of our repainted home and was able to transform it into our dream home. Because we were not prepared to buy the new door for the house at this time, Nick's crew painted our front door, making it look almost new.
The crew members were professional, very pleasant with each other and with us and our neighbors who came up to offer their opinions of the new colors on our house. The crew showed up on time 3 days in a row, put in a full day's work taking care to cover our new gutters and all the windows.
The crew addressed questions of preference with us before proceeding if there was any question. They were in touch with the company owner the first day making sure they had the right paint, then showed me the paints to make sure that was my understanding of color choices.
The final bill was in keeping with the estimate, including our state sales tax. Our neighbors tell us they appreciate the new colors and we are very happy with the final product.
We wanted a local company who had been in the community for a while and Creekside was the one we chose. We are so glad we did. The whole job took 1/2 day to pressure wash the outside of the house and 2 1/2 days to complete the painting and cleanup with a crew of 3 painters.
We will most likely hire Creekside again in the fall to paint the inside of the house. We would readily recommend Creekside LLC to others who want a good job done with quality paints for their home.
Because the work on our bedroom was performed well, we decided to get another quote from Creekside Consulting for some exterior siding and trim touch-ups. When I met with Nick Springer the second time, his demeanor was even worse than the first time. I've seen other female reviewers mention his attitude, and I wonder if it's just a problem dealing with women. I let him know we had unopened gallons of exterior paint for the touch-up work, but he said that our paint wouldn't dry in time because of the current weather and his guys would need to buy new paint (which I knew to be false information). Once again, he said that I would need to pay cash (not check) to get the painting completed. Then he provided a quote that I knew was quite high considering it was only a few areas of touch-up, so I explained that I was going to review his estimate, along with other estimates we had received, with my husband before getting back to him. He got immediately defensive and asked why I would need to consult with my husband before hiring a painter.
Because their company tried to sell me unneeded paint, provided no contracts or paperwork of any kind, expected cash payment for every job, and approached me with a condescending and overbearing attitude, I would never recommend them for a job.
The house was prepared and painted, in one day. It was to have two coats of paint. Instead they said they painted it with a "heavy coat of paint".
I would not recommend this contractor to paint anything for anyone.
Creekside Painting just completed painting the exterior of our home. We are very pleased with the results. And the response to our request was expeditious and appreciated. The team of Chad, Tony, Caleb, Kevin, Dan and John exhibited great teamwork and professionalism, accomplishing the 2200 square foot job in in just a day, plus half a day for touch up, clean up and walk around. Their attention to detail made interacting with the crew a joy. And their use of top-quality products should make this paint job last many years.
We will definitely use Creekside Painting again for any major painting projects and would confidently recommend them to our family, friends and neighbors.
We can definitely recommend Creekside Painting.
The neighbors have all commented on what a great job and great look the house has.
Although I won't need the house repainted for some time, I will certainly call Creekside when I do.
