 + -1 moreThe whole process went very smoothly. My tile contracter informed me that he could not go any further with the job until I had a plumber install a new drain. I contacted Christensen Plumbing and Brad was available late the next day. When Brad arrived, he was attentive to my needs, seemed very competent, had the necessary (quality) parts and completed the project quickly (I don't think he was at our house for even an hour). I was very impressed with his work and will consider again for future plumbing needs.
Description of Work: Replaced shower drain - a prior travertine shower remodel leaked. I had to have the base of the shower cut out and replaced. Brad cut out the old drain and replaced with a new drain.

He gave me a detailed receipt and took me through each repair. I will definitely use his services again in the future and recommend him to friends.
Description of Work: All three of my toilets were sluggish to flush and easy to plug. My concern was that I would have to replace all the toilets, instead Brad came over and replaced all parts.

I appreciated that he was willing to allow me to watch him work and learn; he showed me what he was doing and told me why he was doing it. He still managed to work quickly and efficiently and repaired my leaking shower drain. In order to access the drain leak, Brad had to cut through my drywall, which he cut very neatly and screwed back in when he was done. He made sure he cleaned up during and after the job, which I really appreciated. I was so pleased with his work, I scheduled another appointment for him to fix a leak in one exterior pipe and replace two hose bibs. I know pros like Brad are hard to find and have asked him to be our family plumber!
Description of Work: Repaired leaking shower drain, cutting out and removing old sections of plumbing and drain. Replaced shower strainer, an ABS trap & coupling.

Brad even tried to show me how to install the toilet mechanism, so next time I wouldn't necessarily have to call him for such a simple repair. Quality work in a friendly manner--I will definitely continue to use Christensen Plumbing in the future.
Description of Work: I had previously used Christensen Plumbing on a remodel, and he did excellent work. I had additional plumbing work, and called again. The work included installing three new bathroom faucets, installing two new bathroom sink drain stops in another bathroom and installing a new toilet mechanism.

 + -1 moreI called to get an estimate. Brad was able to come out within 10 mins. After giving the estimate I gave him the OK and he was able to fix the outside faucets during this visit. I couldn't be more pleased. He was professional, very nice, and seemed honest. He had to cut into some drywall inside the house to get to the plumbing. He did a good job and cleaned up after himself. Now the outdoor faucets work great! I would definitely call him again for any future plumbing problems.

When I first moved in we had some problem with the shower head and he said we could call Moen and get the part. He talked to Moen and gave them the part number to order and the part came a couple days later. Brad came a couple days later. He showed up when he said he would and he got everything fixed and it was great. With his experience and knowledge he has a very fair price.

And we received his estimate in a timely manner. We had another company we had used before provide an estimate which seemed high. Brad's estimate was lower and very reasonable. I also liked that he does his estimates and work on time and materials. So we could see the breakdown and know what his estimate we reasonable. On the day that work was schedule he was prompt, very professional and did an excellent job. The cost for the job was the same as the estimate. I will use him again for any future plumbing needs.

 + -1 moreBrad showed up promptly, worked efficiently, and did the job professionally. He knew right away what to do for our dripping faucet, and explained it thoroughly. Unfortunately our faucet had to be replaced, so Brad needed to remove some sheetrock from inside the house to gain access to the water lines. He cut and removed the sheetrock, and when he was finished he replaced it as best as possible, and even vacuumed up after. I know this is silly, but even his invoice was written professionally and more importantly - LEGIBLY! We were very pleased with his work, and hopefully we won't need a plumber again, but if we do we will call Christensen Plumbing for sure!

Description of Work: What a nice person he is! Brad arrived right on time (8 a.m.) He installed a new kitchen faucet and adjusted a toilet water level. He is very competent, a residential journeyman plumber. He did an excellent job, left the site clean, and did it all within the hour. The charge was very reasonable $123.35 with tax. He gave me a 5% Angies List discount. I would certainly use him again, my #1 plumber!

 + 0 moreBrad consulted with me on water heater options to gain more first hour gallons. Option 1 was a propane water heater replacement along with associated propane piping to the water heater. Option 2 was installing an additional electric water heater and associated water piping. Brad fielded a number of questions from me over email in addition to the visit to my home. He was very responsive and gave me estimates on both options. Eventually, I decided to go with the additional electric water heater and he installed it. He was very punctual on both appointments, the estimate as well as the installation. He was very thorough and even cleaned up the left-over materials after the installation. I highly recommend Christensen Plumbing!
Description of Work: Brad provided me estimates on 2 water heater scenarios to increase the number of first hour gallons of hot water. After I made my decision, he installed a second electric water heater and ran all the water piping.

We had just finished a kitchen, and half bath remodel, so we had Brad come out to hook up all the traps, fixtures, ice maker, and disposal. He finished the entire project within 3 hours just as he stated, which would have taken me all day to do. I recommend him for any plumbing needs.
