lI never wrote any review in my life, but I feel like I need to share my experience with Transformation Painting, especially the owner Albert Moore. I hope this helps someone from having to run into the same bad experience like I did. Anyway long story short, I interviewed 4 painters. Albert Moore who is the owner of Transformation Painting was the 4th one that came to my house to do the estimate. I selected Albert to do the job based on the following reasons. 1. Albert told me he was going to use SW Emerald paint 2. Will do 3 (yes, THREE) coats on the West and South side of the home because those sides are beat up very bad due to direct sun light 3. Indicated that he will spend a good amount of time to prep including scraping, sanding, caulking, fixing rot wood, etc., and strongly emphasized that good prep work is the key factor in any painting job (it even says so in his business card, and along the sides of his van). 4. Could start the job right away 5. Price was lowest (though not too far off from the other ones, and this was not the main reason I select him) 6. Didn?t appear professional, but confident, and convincing Everything was good until he started the work (of course after insisted me to give him 50%, and I gave him ~35% instead). He spent total of about 3 days working on my house (3200 SF two story home), but took him 1 month to finish. He came one day and said would come back the next day, but never shown up for a week. The worse thing was that he did not call to inform me. He had to call him and left a few messages before he called back around noon and said ?I am not feeling well today? (Later I was told he was not sick, but rather worked on different houses instead). This pattern repeated three times. When he was at the house, he was constantly on phone with potential customers. The quality of his work is terrible. At the initial estimate, he was all about great prep work but what he did (after getting the deposit) was totally different. No proper prep work was done. He painted over those old paint which almost came off. He did OK the lower part of the house, but the upper part (perhaps he thought it was harder to see), he painted only one thin coat. The two guys who worked for him, and walked off because they couldn?t work with Albert told me this. They also told me that the reason they didn?t want to work with Albert because Albert forced them to ?just get done fast?, and that was just against their moral, so they walked off. Albert left all by himself and NEVER finished the job (even I went and help him for a few hours) and had to deduct some amounts of money from the agreed amount. After the house was painted, all of our family and friends who came and visited our house couldn?t believe the house was just painted. I called in a different painter soon after that, and he looked at it and told me the same thing (all of the upper part around the house has only one coat, and that absolutely no prep, the lower part had two THIN coat). I had to spend extra money to hire another contractor to put another coat of paint around the house, as well as replacing some rodent wood, and caulking. All in all, Albert was very disguising. He said all the good things, but his work was completely the opposite. I would not recommend Albert Moore from Transformation Painting at all. Albert will try to get you hooked, collect your money, and won't care about the job. He probably guess he won't be around painting your house a second time any way.

Albert and the company did a great, detailed job quick. He stuck to their original quote and paid attention to every square foot of the house. They didn't have any spills, and have been respectful of the neighbors. We live in townhome community with the townhomes very close to each other, so the last point was very important to us. He kept us up to date on daily progress and gave us heads up on what he was planning to do the next day. I will definitely call him when we do interior painting.
Description of Work: Albert Moore & his apprentice pressure washed the house, caulked the exterior cracks, painted exterior of the house, including front and garage doors and trim.
