We had Moses and his workers at our home doing some interior painting, which included painting many doors. They did an excellent job and were very professional and polite. They were careful not to damage our home. We would hire them again in the future if we need work done.

I hired Moses to paint five rooms, wood stair trim and banisters (hark wood to white), two fireplaces, and a mantle. I picked out the paint colors and he picked them up. He showed up promptly and worked diligently for two days with one other painter. The results are excellent quality and price was reasonable. Moses was courteous and professional. Highly recommend!

I hired Universal Home Improvements for my home renovation project after my last contractor bailed on me at the last minute, and I'm thankful they were available and took the job. Moses was communicative throughout the process, he was thorough with his estimates and daily reports, and he made sure to fix any issues that arose during production. I fully recommend hiring Moses for any painting/light renovation for your home or business. I will definitely be hiring them again for future projects.

We hired Moses with great hope. We needed someone in our home ASAP and their immediate availability was undeniably alluring and why we ended up going with them. We were stuck in a hotel, until our homes interior walls could be sealed with odor killing primer, due previous resident having left an odor on the walls that caused allergic reactions in most of our family. I believe Moses, took advantage of how desperate we were to get into our new home. He knew we had to borrow the $1500 it would cost to paint the interior walls of our 1100sq ft apartment, he knew my child is medically fragile and we needed to get her into a home ASAP. We agreed upon a price, we agreed the walls would be painted with nothing but Kilz odor blocking primer. He told me the walls would be white, as opposed to the off white the apartment was originally painted....I was fine with that. He asked for 10 gallons of primer and the cost of all his supplies be paid for by us, outside the $1500.00. Ok, seemed like a lot, but what ever....we needed to get this done. We bought the primer and he bought the supplies, but failed to give us a receipt for the items because "He had other things on there as well, so how about 50$ cash?" We never saw a receipt. He never offered a contract of any kind. We drew one up and had him sign it to protect ALL OF OUR interests. He wanted to be paid the $1500.00 in cash. NOPE. Not going to do that, especially since he would not supply us with a receipt for labor either. So we paid with a cashier's check to protect our interest. We waited 2 days to go into the home to see what our money bought us and we were horrified. It looks like a hack job! The walls aren't finished in some places, leaving huge areas of two tone color on the walls. There is a HUGE difference between the edging and the rolled on paint, leaving huge amounts of streaking in every room. HE KNEW WE WOULD NOT BE PAINTING OVER THIS AND PROMISED TO MAKE THE WALLS LOOK PAINTED WHITE. Not framed out and ready for a coat of paint to hide the streaking and missed areas. They spilled primer on BRAND NEW carpet in several areas, and on brand new hardwood. They claim it is just "calcium and water" and yet nothing will take it off the carpet or the flooring. There is a broken window seal, several broken electrical plates and the place is just a hot mess of a single coat of primer, which would be enough if it was going to be PAINTED immediately....but he knew that would not be happening. He knew we wanted the walls left primer white and he guaranteed us it would look like just any other newly painted, white wall. We had planned on hiring them again to come back at a later date to paint the walls, but we spent 2 weeks in a hotel waiting to get this done and need time to build up finances and time away from our home with a medically fragile child, to allow for that and this company knew this. They preyed on our desperation and left us in hot water with our landlord, who ok'd the work to be done, but is equally upset about the out come and now WE HAVE TO PAY for the carpet and flooring and other damages done by this hack job. Thank you Moses, for making a nightmare situation for my family, even worse. You should be ashamed of yourself and start issuing receipts and stop asking to be paid under the table.

Moses came out take a look at the scope of work and gave me a fair estimate. They arrived bright and early and did a great job. Nice and professional and I love it!

Moses repaired the drywall and applied texture to our dining room wall. He also painted our master bedroom using a light yellow over green. He is quite trustworthy and fastidious. He has set very high expectations for himself and it shows in the quality of his work. The finished product was super! I would definitely recommend Moses to friends and would use him again in a heartbeat.
