Description of Work: They repaired an area on our deck that was leaking it went well the damage was more extensive than first thought and so it obviously took longer and cost more but they warned us that that could happen at the beginning.

Description of Work: This was a (not quite a remodel) job to get my mom's house ready for sale. It was quite dated and needed painting in and out plus a complete re-do of the bathroom. Installed a few light fixtures and a number of other things. It did seem like it took them longer than I thought necessary. I don't think I was a major project for them like a complete remodel would be, so they got to my mom's job when they could. However they were responsive and if I had an issue with something they would usually fix the problem. The end product was excellent (it looked great the house sold). I would recommend them. If I had it to do over again, I would give them a time frame to have it done. Their prices were fair and they are an honest contractor in my opinion.

 + 1 moreMy wife and I decided to remove an existing archway in our living room and install a door on the other side of the room to turn it into an office. We contacted a few contractors and had estimates done. Frank & Sons arrived and within 24 hrs we had an estimate. I was really impressed by Rob?s professionalism, and decided to accept their offer. Work started a few days later, and overall, the job took only a few days. Rob and his crew were really flexible with our schedule, and were extremely meticulous. Once they were done, we had a concern about a minor blemish on some of the texture work and they came back out and completely stripped the wall on both sides to redo the mud, texture, and paint. My wife and I are very pleased with their professionalism, attention to detail, and the overall finished product.

 + -1 moreThey are relatively expensive. Frank is a respected contractor among the traits. He has a couple men that work full time for him along with subcontractors. He makes sure things are done right. I have always had Frank to back me up which I appreciate since I am older.

In the end given the present market conditions we just did not have the $ to do this project however when the financing is right we do plan to go back to Frank and Sons.

 + 0 moreThey were very knowledgeable. Of all the companies we talked to, they were the only ones who identified the problem accurately. Other companies wanted to replace windows and doors and do extensive repair work. Frank said that would not be necessary so his bid was of course much lower than many others were but it did work. Therefore, the guy knows what he was doing. I sure would recommend him to others. I certainly will use his services again in the future.
Description of Work: We used the services of Frank & Sons Construction. The last time we used their services was in March or April. The cost was $750. They did some repair to our siding in advance that was leaking water.

 + 0 moreWorking with Frank and his associates was an excellent experience. We had a number of contractors inspect our water leaks around the window and sliding doors, and received a number of recommendations on repairs, including replacing the window and door. None of these solutions would have been successful, as Frank accurately identified the problem coming from a couple of dryer and bath vents, and not the window and door trim. The repairs cost is about $700 compared to estimates in the thousands from other contractors. The company had been in business a long time, is rated A+ by the BBB, and is very customer oriented. I would not hesitate to use them, for not only for small repairs, but complete remodeling jobs as well.
Description of Work: The company repaired improperly installed vents on the outside of the house and replaced damaged trim on windows and doors inside.
