It did not go well, after 4 years of somewhat okay cleaning; we mutually agreed to terminate the relationship. We asked her for her insurance company phone number and she would not provide it. The last year or so, she kept rescheduling her cleaning days and calling me to tell me she was sick, not dependable/trustworthy.
Description of Work: We hired this team four years ago to clean our 2700 square foot 5 bedroom home. As a law enforcement homeowner, we were very particular about who came into our home, so we never left the cleaning team alone. Matter of fact, we were the first Angie's members to provide comments on Angie's List to tell people about how good their work has been. Initially, the owner Rebecca ,was exemplary, on time, very thorough and cost effective; however, over the three year time frame, she hired and fired many people (high employee turnover) who made many damages that ended up costing us a loss over the long run. For example, first, the garbage disposal plug went missing, no one told us, we noticed, we questioned them if they could tell us where they put it and they advised they had no idea. Next, the wood blinds strings were pulled so hard, that the strings came off the pulley but no one told us again, rather, they left he blinds closed that day and the next morning when we went to open the blinds, we couldn't do it. (workorder at our expense). Dusting delicates in the living room, ceramic items would be broken, very small issues, that if were brought to our attention, we would have glued them, but instead, we were not advised and had to learn about it from a guest admiring an item that was broken. Further, a glass sliding tub door track was sprayed and the screw broken, but none of the cleaners informed us, rather, when we brought it to their attention, they denied it completely. Finally, the last straw was when we identified a large circular mark bubbly mark on the top of our leather sofa like one of the ladies rested her wet cleaning cloth on this piece of furniture for some time which resulted in damage to the leather. Again, no one told us. The disappointment of it all is that when it was addressed to Rebecca the owner, she not only denied that the ladies who were in our house that she employed for a few months were not at fault, but did not even offer a solution. Instead, we terminated services due to the tension from the continuous disappointments. Highly recommend supervision when these cleaners are in your home.
