Lowe's - Spokane

They were awful, unprofessional, and I never even got my order placed for over 6 weeks of chasing them and mayhem. So now I am behind and they don't care....the worst place EVER...I WON'T..even shop there anymore that's how bad...will go to ACE or HOME DEPOT for supplies....

The contrators they hired did a great job and moved quick! They were all friendly and afterwards showed me the window features. They look great and I'm very happy with the cost as well. The told me about the Avista rebate program but forgot to provide me the contract purchase for it. It was an easy fix I called Lowe's and they had it emailed to me within 30 minutes so I was able to complete the rebate online with Avista. I have had the windows 2 weeks and I'm VERY glad I made the purchase.

Contractor installed the carpet and pad in the dining, living and family rooms. Contractor was unable to hide seams where carpet pieces were joined together. Contractor did not install metal transition pieces nor did they bother to tell us that they had broken part of the system that allows us to open and close the blinds on our sliding glass door. After trying to get satisfaction through Lowes contractor services, we finally ended up exercising our right to reject the product provided by the carpet manufacturer and were given credit toward another carpet from the same manufacturer which we used to buy enough carpet to redo the job. Rather than try another contractor from Lowes, we hired our own installers...bottom line the second installation was much better than the original but we ended up paying an additional $1,500.00 out of pocket. We had to move all of our furniture twice and deal with the mess twice...including paying several hundred dollars to have our pool table taken down and reconstructed TWICE...Lowes did try to help us where they could but we were still out hundreds of dollars.

I don't know if the same contractor does all their branches, they sub the work out. At Lowe's they'll do it themselves. They supervise it and their sales people get the contract and stuff. They figure out the cost. They have a regular contractor to go about for the work. I signed up for it in June and I think it took about three or four months once the initial contract was signed to started the work. I remember this is going to take forever because they had us put on a wait list. It cost a little above average because its through a company and they have more overhead. They have to call the sales people and a lot of stuff. You have more layers to go through. At least they have this thing where they're really big on customer satisfaction. They do officially have to go through permits, codes to the city and all that stuff. That part was why we picked them. Rather than going through an independent contractor. We knew they had a warranty for their work. If you're not happy and you complain a little bit above them, they'll have people out there going, what are you not happy with, what didn't work. The contractor they used did a really nice job. Even if he was a bit of a grumbler because the code enforcer for the city of Spokane, it was permitted and everything, came out two or three times just for the contract to check if everything is done and everything passed, some little thing to hold up stuff. He had to come back and fix it. Then the code guy will come back out and see something else out. Then the contractor will fix it. We know that it was all done to code and current standards. Compare with the other ones where we got bids from, we had 4-5 bids, there were kind of questions whether or not they were going to get the proper permit. The price is average. The contractor didn't like me calling. He wouldn't answer his cellphone if he thought it was me. The code guys were here again, they left a slip for you. I think I'll probably would use them again if there's more hoops to go through.

Wonderful! On time, polite, helpful, fully staffed (three men),. They even brought parts we needed ( but didn't have) which they installed at no cost. We can't imagine better service in today's "gotcha" world.

They were very patient helping me. I was talking to them about floors and windows and told them I was just thinking about it. When we got the appliances, the local store was going to charge us for delivery and also charge us for what they haul away so we went sixty five miles to Lowes. They delivered free and took away our old appliances free.
