Re-Pipe Masters

I purchased an Angie's List deal for two hours of labor from Pacific Plumbing for $150. Pacific Plumbing was supposed to come to our house and repair a leaky bathtub faucet. It was a relatively small leak, and as far as I was concerned, a simple fix. We just preferred to have a professional repair it. The appointment was scheduled a few days prior with an abrupt phone call, not asking for any clarification of what our issue was. The hours were very inflexible (for working adults), and my wife was subsequently forced to leave work early to make the appointment at 3:30pm, which was the latest they would schedule anything. The plumber(s) showed up 30 minutes early and called to see if we would come let him in. It was the same person that scheduled the appointment, so must have forgotten that I told him that 3:30pm was the absolute earliest we could be there. My wife was home at 3:30pm to let him in, and found out there were two men. She presented the deal voucher, which Pacific Plumbing was aware of when scheduling the visit, and the plumber said we would get 1 hour because there were two plumbers there. I have had this trick attempted on me with a plumber before, and I was instantly turned off, because the work I was asking to have completed was not a two-person job, so there was no way we were getting our money's worth. Nonetheless, my wife had them proceed to diagnose the leak. The main plumber started by saying he would have to replace it entirely for an additional $600. My wife was skeptical, so asked if there were other options. The plumber said he could drive to the store to get a gasket/ring and would charge us $200 more for the time and parts. My wife called me to see what I thought -- I thought he should have been able to fix it without driving to the store. He said he could not, so after an hour of time of little to no progress, my wife and I agreed to ask him to leave. After being asked to leave, he admitted that he might have the right gasket/ring in his vehicle, but we declined. He put the faucet back together and left a mess behind (paper towels, dirty footprints, and more). The entire time, my wife felt like he was trying to pull one over on her or upsell her, and she had a lot of difficulty communicating with him. She felt uncomfortable with both men there, and their lack of professionalism did not help. I try to give contractors/plumbers the benefit of the doubt, but this situation was a small disaster.

They quoted a fixed price for 2 hours of work. The ultimate job took about 2 hours and I was charged over twice the amount.

they came at 9.00 a.m. and replaced all water pipes and water heater repaced all valves and outdoor faucets . thet were very professional they covered all floors withcanvas their was no mess when they were done. they were finished at 2.00p.m. nick and employees get A-+ for worke performed I WOULD RECOMEND THEM TO EVERYBODY .i thank angies list for their help GERALD SEMAS

I took the opportunity to get an Angie's List deal from Pacific Plumbing in order to repair several plumbing issues in my 30-year old condo. Bill Singh and his colleague arrived on time and after seeing the sorry state of the kitchen and bathrooms, Bill said it would cost about as much to do the repairs as it would to replace the worn items. I decided to just do what had needed doing for far too long anyway and ended up with three new faucets, two new toilets, and a new water heater, along with all the hoses, pipes and other bits and pieces that went with them. This was not a bait-and-switch thing?everything did need replacing and I can't tell you how nice it is to have toilets that work, faucets that don't leak, and a water heater I don't have to worry about. Bill and his partner did great work and I was amazed they were able to do it all in less than a day and that includes going to get the new toilets, etc. I usually research everything extensively before buying but with the men there and ready to work, I decided to rely on Bill's recommendations as to what to get for the situation and it worked out fine. There have been no problems and I am very pleased with the result. I would hire them again.

Mr. Singh was prompt, courteous, and efficient. I would definitely use his services again.

Went well. Worker (Baba) was on time and very professional. Completed work in reasonable amount of time. He did a good quality job.

These guys were incredibly efficient and professional, we used their Angie's List deal to replace a old toilet for around $350, all inclusive. They showed up right on time and were done w/in 45 minutes. New efficient Toto toilet installed, old one removed. Kept everything clean despite a driving rainstorm while bringing in new toilet and taking out old one. My one minor complaint, they could be a little more responsive to email question, but I get it that they are busy (that's a good thing). No issues thus far w/ the toilet. I highly recommend these guys.

large They arrived on time, but were unable to complete the work with man under the two hours. In the end they called in another person, who I am not sure added any real value or help to get the job done, but it added an additional $389 and the whole job took 3 hours, 2 of which were charged for two plumbers. They did have to deal with some piping and valve issues, but it should not have taken two experienced plumbers 2 hours to complete this work. In the end the was quality and the workers were polite and professional. It is just the it cost so much.

The job he did was done very well, so far no leaks. The plumber also gave some good advice for other pipes that needed replacing and repair and did offer a discount on those services. However, we had to contact them a numerous times before they were able to make the appointment, and one of those times, they did not have our information in the system (though we had spoken with them previously). Our largest complaint is that we purchased a coupon for $119 for two hours of work. However, when he showed up he had another plumber with him and informed us the coupon was for 1 plumber for 2 hours, but since he brought an additional person (without notifying us) the coupon was worth only 1 hour of service. However, this is not stated on the coupon as a stipulation. This was quite disappointing as they knew which coupon we had purchased ahead of time and then changed the terms of the deal after arrival.

How did it go? It went great. The plumber came on time, was very professional, did an excellent job replacing the toilet. We asked him about another plumbing issue while he was here. He checked it out. We then hired him to take out the 2nd floor water heater. He came back a few days later and did that.

Baba showed up at the promised time and completed the toilet replacement within the hour. They even changed out the water valve in the wall since it was gold and the rest of our fixtures are nickel. They put down drop clothes to protect our hardwood floors and made sure that everything was working to our satisfaction before leaving. Very courteous and professional. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again for additional plumbing work.

Our water heater rusted out and very quickly Pacific Plumbing was onsite. We had low water pressure in the house since we moved in, so we decided to get a complete repipe as well as the new tankless water heater. Pacific plumbing was prompt and professional, and brought out a few extra people when we discovered that the connection between the house and the meter had been leaking and was also heavily corroded and built up. They were very respectful that they were working in our house and worked extra long for 2 days to get the work done as quickly as possible. All of their work is well finished and solidly installed and has not caused any problems since.

Nick Singh and his crew were absolutely awesome. He'd done a similar job a while back for my sister-in-law, and I went with him because of her strong recommendation, and because he had the best bid--by several thousand dollars--of the four people I got quotes from. They showed up when they said they would, and go the job done in precisely the amount of time he'd estimated it would take. I'm going to extend the plumbing in the spring, adding a second bathroom to the house which it sorely needs, and these are the guys I'm going to hire.

I took 4 bids on this work and Pacific Plumbing plumbing beat the next lowest bid by 40%! They checked out on Better Business Buereau and are licensed and bonded professionals. Bill worked with me on cost when I decided to replace the mainline the day his crew was doing the re-pipe. They were fast, efficient, and courteous as well. Why pay more when these guys get it done for considerably less?

Nick and his crew were VERY PROFESSIONAL. Arrived on time and DONE in one day. Explained all questions I had. Went though "Repipe Specialists" which all they did was bid the job and send me to Nick. So I HIGHLY recommend going straight to Nick at "Pacific Plumbing" and skip the "other" guy.

There was a little confusion about when he was originally supposed to come (he said some out-of-town guests took his appointment book), but once he came the work was excellent quality!

I felt they were very professional and hard working. Nick really knew what he was doing and kept his crew on task without problems.

They were professional and punctual. Their pricing was reasonable. The quality of their work was very good and I was satisfied with their service.

Before Pacific Plumbing began a related job (re-piping our home as a subcontractor to another company) we asked for a bid on replacing the aging waste lines. An opportunity to relocate the toilet in the main bath prior to remodeling presented itself, and so they did that as well. While they were replacing the lines a stack fell. Apparently it was not strapped. They worked long hours to ensure the work was completed in time for the bathroom remodel to begin. A lot of work in a short period of time! Nick and his team worked steadily. They were respectful of our home, of our family and of our wishes.

Pacific Plumbing was prompt and very professional. They were thorough and helpful and cleaned up well when they were done. They were quite honest and the pricing was fairly reasonable.

The man from Pacific was prompt and courteous. He got right to work and had the job completed in two hours. However, I was displeased with the bill because the charges seemed quite expensive to me.

OVERALL VERY PROFESSIONAL, PROVIDED QUALITY WORK, NOT THAT GREAT ON FOLLOW UP.
