Jack's Ever Green Painting

I chose Angie's list to find a quality painting company. They gave me several options. I chose "Jacks Evergreen Painting" and I am happy I did. Then I asked for a quote. Jane came and gave me a good quote for the whole house. The house was pressure washed and then had to wait a couple of weeks for it to dry. The crew came promptly and took out the old caulk and put in new caulk around the building where needed. Then they started painting. The house was done in about 3 days with two coats of paint sprayed and rolled twice. Steve gave me some suggestions how to paint our front door and liked our choices in color. I would recommend "Jacks Evergreen Painting to any one for a professional job!

The pressure washing was scheduled for the 2nd of October and the painting for the 19th but the crew from Jack's was able to get to our house sooner. Because of the bumped up schedule, I did not have the outside prepared (stuff put away and shrubs trimmed) but they helped me by moving all the furniture from the patio and I just had to trim the shrubs at the back of the house. The pressure washing went well and as we had our paint colors selected (we went with the original colors), they could get samples to test. Since it was getting late in the season, The paint was upgraded to Sherwin Williams Resilience at no extra cost to us and they also found that the gutters had been painted so they said that they would repaint the gutters at no extra charge too. The actual painting started on the 15th of October and by the 20th it was all completed. I asked for a small change (did not like a two toned gutter downspout), which they changed and touched up one or two spots (I was probable being picky). Overall I am very satisfied with the service and professionalism of Jack's Evergreen Painting and their crew(s) and I would highly recommend them. In fact, I will be using them again when I need the interior of the house repainted soon. They were also very health and safety conscious and wore masks while working around the house.

This was actually the third time I hired Jack's Evergreen, as I was so pleased with their previous work. They have always been pleasant to work with, responsive to needs, and professionalism and communication are top notch. I will use them for my next job and always refer out to friends looking for painters.

Jack's did a great job from scheduling an estimate, prepping my house for painting, starting/completing the painting on time and cleaning up afterward. Andrey Stepanchuk was my primary contact and he was very helpful, professional and really helped identify the right paints and processes for my home and exterior. I would hire them again and recommend them.

It went well. They used the paint on my house that I requested. I had one issue, and that was with my two decks. The second coat was applied, and before it could dry, it rained leaving "water spots" . I called them on it and they came out and remedied the problem right away.

Jane was very thorough in her quote, and Andrey the Project Manager was very responsive and helpful throughout the project. At one point, Andrey lent us his color matching tool, as we cruised the neighborhood looking for colors that appealed to us! Marco - the lead painter of the project - was always checking in with us, with any questions and to ensure our satisfaction. We were so pleased with their work that we referred our neighbors who also had their home painted by Jack's.

They were thorough and responsive. Even did some filling where my siding was separating. Caulked around all windows. Walk around after the job was done too . Great business!

I've used Jack's many years ago under the original owner Jack Fecker and I'm happy to say they're still the same great company. My house was a large complex bid and they came in more than some, but less than most others. I was a bit turned off by them offering a discount if I decided within a week but fortunately I had already received other bids and knew them so I went for it. They were also one of the few large companies that could get me in before the fall rains. I also chose them because they had good recommendations - some companies thought I had stain, some thought I had paint, Jack's chose correctly and understood just how much prep was going to be involved and that a full coat of primer was needed. Andre is their estimator and manager and gave me a consistent contact throughout the process. Andre gave me a date 2 mo out (which was less than most) and actually kept it down to the day. Several companies wanted to do my house with a few guys over weeks but Jack's put a large crew on it and knocked it out exactly when they said they would and finished again exactly when they had estimated months earlier. There was a huge problem that was no fault of their own, one which cost somebody thousands to fix, but Andre quickly agreed it was not my fault and said they would take care of it at no cost. That was the kind of thing some companies would drag out and cause a lot of anxiety but Andre & Jack's Ever Green set my mind at ease almost immediately and took care of the problem without even blowing the schedule. The paint job looks fantastic and they did an excellent job coming in on schedule and budget despite encountering a huge problem that was not their fault - bravo!

Pricing was competitive. The owner/managers were quick to respond and answered all my questions. The crew did an excellent job, were efficient, professional and friendly. Everyone was punctual. They started earlier than the scheduled date, assigned additional workers and finished painting in two days, in order to avoid the rainy weather.

It was excellent and completed on time.

What great service. Jack's saw us through the entire process including a detailed and knowlegeable quote, providing consultation on selecting colors for siding and trim, recommending a a handy man contractor for needed carpentry, and setting and keeping a firm schedule. Keeping an eye on the weather, they saw a window of opportunity and started and finished ahead of schedule. They also had a great on-site crew of painters all of whom were responsive to our concerns and questions. We love the appearance of the house and have also received great compliments from our neighbors. Job well done.

Jane was super friendly, professional and responsive as soon as I contacted her for a quote. I was so impressed by her, the company history and reviews that I didn't bother getting any other quotes. We hired Jane to come over for a color consultation (as I was apprehensive and didn't now where to start) and she made it a fun experience and gave me confidence to choose my own colors. When it came time for the house to be painted the team did a great job, communicated with me well, and cleaned up properly. I was also impressed that they added an extra day of prep work since they decided my house needed it afterall (they even sealed every single rusty nail in my siding since they said the wrong nails were used to build the house, and they didn't want the nails to show through again). I LOVE the new colors and I constantly get compliments on it from neighbors and friends.

Jack’s Ever Green did an excellent job with our painting project. We had our vaulted entryway walls painted and refinished and painted our family room cabinets. We would highly recommend them for any painting project.

Jane (owner) and Andrey (general manager) were extremely professional, and a complete pleasure to do business with. Anytime I had a question, I got a response quickly. Their pricing was reasonable, and the work was done on time and looks great.

Andrey was great to work with and the crew was wonderful. Rick, the lead field guy, was great! We had a few areas in need of some drywall patching and repair and it looks great. They did our whole upstairs and even did a nice job texturing the ceiling when the asbestos popcorn ceiling was removed.

This was a very pleasant experience. The gentlemen who did the work were prompt, polite, and did an outstanding job of prep work. I have a lot of windows and skylights, as well as high, hard to reach areas. The paint job and trim were flawless. I could not be more pleased. I would highly recommend this company.

The crew did a really professional job. We were impressed by their meticulous attention to detail. They did not rush through the job. They took care to sand all the nooks and crannies and preparing all of the surfaces. They finished right on time as promised.

Jane was quick to examine and give (fast) competitive bid. Was given adequate time to chooose color scheme at paint store. Then scheduled pressure wash, two weeks later scheduled painting. Courteous crew were done painting in 4 days. Very professional and excellent paint job. Would highly recommend and would definitely have them do again the next time house needs painting. If I could give ten stars, I would! We are so over the top pleased with the impeccable interior paint job provided by Jack's Evergreen Painting. From the very first contact with the owner, Jane Bakken (who founded the company with her husband Jack, sadly now deceased), to the last few minutes of the work being completed, every crew member was professional, terrific and easy to work with, and showed up precisely at 8 a.m. every one of the 4 consecutive days it took for the crew of 3-4 to complete. The printed bid was broken down room by room, even ceilings and trim were itemized, so we could choose accordingly, and they honored the exact bid even though we changed our minds a few times on paint samples and colors during the actual work! A foreman accompanies the crew each day and oversees the day's work and progress, and they are all exceptional in their knowledge and expertise. We had obtained a few bids, and made a wise decision to go with Jack's because of their professionalism and also the amazing, consistently wonderful reviews we had read on Angie's List and elsewhere. Special thanks to Andrey, the GM who comes to your home and spends as much time with you as you need consulting about every last detail and question you might have regarding your project and vision for it. He's been with the company a decade and is just so easy and pleasant to work with! Also special thanks to crew members Guillermo, Rick, and I wish I could remember the others to thank them too. One last bit of praise: we were told our project might need to be broken up by a few days depending on their exterior paint jobs and later in the month, but they actually called to come a couple of weeks early as rain was predicted and they felt they could focus on our project to completion. Amazing. Hire these professionals, you will be grateful you did.

Overall it went well. There was a problem with the front door. A painting spent most of one day painting it, only to tell me he would have to come back the next day and do it all over because he didn't have the proper sanding equipment. The finished door is very nice, but I was surprised he didn't have the right equipment the first time. All the staff were very polite and tidy, and they really worked hard.

Andrey did a thorough walkthrough of our 2600-sf house before providing his estimate. During the walkthrough, he helped guide our selection of color/finish to suit the function of each space. This process also gave us confidence in the accuracy of his estimate. Jack's Ever Green Painting won our business (over 3 other companies) because their approach was thorough and professional. The crew took great care to protect our floors and furniture from paint splatters. Their speed was impressive: the 3-person crew finished the project in a few days (this included moving/covering furniture, fixing cracks in drywall, applying two coats of paint) - allowing us to move up other home reno projects by weeks. We would definitely hire Jack's again!

Super responsive. They were actually available a few days after I first called. Incredibly Efficient as well for my small space. It took about 4 days to complete the 100 sq. ft. They called me to check in right after they finished as I wasn’t home. Cabinets weren’t sticky and just needed gentle use for about a month to cure. They look amazing!
