Response from Jack's Ever Green Painting
This job started in January and was completed in February. At the start of every single project we go over the color schemes and details with the customer. However on this particular day the customer was not present at the house, she was in a paint store finalizing the colors. When the estimator / project lead setup the crew he called the customer and discussed colors with her on the phone, after that per her instructions he proceeded to label the walls as is our practice. During the entire job the customer did not stop by the project and we continued to paint. After we were finished with the project the customer’s adult daughter whom lived in one of the rooms said that everything looked good. We told her as we tell all of our customers when you have a chance to go over the project feel free to call us with any touch ups. We did receive a call from this customer stating that we painted the colors in some wrong places. It was supposed to be vice versa and that we also missed a room. However we did everything according to the proposal, our proposal lists work room by room. We apologized to the customer about this misunderstanding / confusion and agreed to repaint the affected areas and even though the bedroom was not part of the proposal we agreed to paint it at no cost. After few days the customer called and stated that her realtor/designer saw the scheme and liked it therefore we did not need to repaint the areas. Why are we now receiving a complaint about this 3 month after the project was completed and after we agreed to repaint the areas and also painted the bedroom at no additional cost?
