Jack's Ever Green Painting

Jack arrived promptly and gave us a thorough, No hassle, quote. Price paid includes taxes. Initially there was a 30 day estimate of when they would start but the called 4 days later and asked if I would mind if they started the next day as they had another customer that had to delay their work. Their prep man, Andre, arrived at 8 AM as agreed, asked that we be sure that all of our windows and doors were tightly sealed and promptly began setting up his equipment before checking that we had completely finished our efforts. Only then did he begin pressure washing and preparing the outside of our home. After he was done he let us know that he was leaving. After one day to let everything dry, Andre returned and we learned that he was a crew leader as he had several other painters with him to begin the detailed prep work before they started priming. Our home had not been fully painted in 25 years in several places and needed considerable extra attention to make sure that the result would be acceptable to Andre's crew and more importantly, us. They did an excellent job restoring some surfaces that I had thought would need to be removed and replaced, all at the base price quoted. Once the prep work was complete, we had a two day rain delay and then two days of beautiful weather to complete the outside painting. Each day Andre's crew arrived on time and worked efficiently to get all of the painting completed. It turned out that they had underestimated the amount of paint needed and had to order and additional 5 gallons to finish but they ordered it the afternoon of the first day and picked it up the next so there was no delay in using it to finish the work. All of the trim work was expertly applied by brush and the transitions between colors is very precise and correct. During our walk around Andre spotted one small, hidden, 4" area that was difficult to see from the roof or from the ground (I didn't see it) that needed a little extra paint and immediately took care of it, and also had one of the painters add a third coat to the bottom of the garage door that had previously been in very rough condition to give it a little extra wear protection, not that it needed it otherwise as it looked perfect before they added it. There were no additional costs beyond the original quote even with the extra paint and prep work needed. If you need your house painted, call Jack. Now that they have painted my home I won't waste my time calling anyone else if I live long enough to need it to be repainted in 20+ years. They truely added one beautiful home to our neighborhood!

The job estimate was provided May 23rd and the paint was procured May 26th. Work commenced a few days later. the job was finished on June 3rd. It was obvious that most of the crew was very experienced. The number of workers varied from day to day with at least five or six, maybe more there at any one time. They were industrious, friendly and pleasant to talk to. A few days after the house was completed we were presented with a large and beautiful bouquet of flowers with a thank you for giving them our business. I believe Jack's Ever Green Painting is a high quality, customer focused business and would use them again as needed.

Overall they were great. They were very nice. My wife and I are fussy and they were more than accomodating.

They did a fine job. The experience from the owner was what really stood out. They were also the lowest bid. Overall, I’m happy with their services.

The job went very well, exactly as scheduled. Jack did a thorough estimate and put his crew to work under the supervision of Virgil. Virgil is a craftsman of the old school who will not rest until the details are done right. He even took care of small items not on the estimate simply because he did not think the job would be "done right" without them. Cesar also deserves mention for his hard work on our project. We were very satisfied with the results on our house. Our neighbors have exclaimed several times that this was a job well done and they had never seen so much sanding being done on a house painting job. The results are visible in the finish work, much better-looking than some of the cheaper paint jobs we have had in the past, and looking like it will last a long time. We have great respect for Jack and Virgil and would recommend them to others.

Entire experience was smooth. Estimate was timely and quick. Painting work started on time and finished a little bit ahead of time. Quality of paintwork is great. Absolutely no surprises. Would use again for interior or other painting work.

Had a great experience with Jack's Evergreen Painting. Jack was curteous and professional when he came out to look at the house, and his estimate was far below the other 3 estimates we got. A short while later, while we were on vacation, we got a call letting us know that one of Jack's teams was available immediately due to a cancellation. We spoke with his manager on the phone to confirm colors, asking him to match our gutters, and came back home to a beautifully painted house. We also asked Jack to strip and paint the interior of our front double doors, which wound up taking two to three extra days to finish. Again, the team did a really nice job & charged us only a minimal amount more than the original estimate. We have a few other interior paint projects this winter that we'll definitely ask them to do.

Jack's workers did a wonderful job preparing the house for the painting. They drapped plastic very carefully so the paint went where it was supposed to go. They were always here when they said they would, and worked as long as light permitted so the job was completed in a reasonable amount of time. The workers were very polite and went out of their way to move heavy plant containers so that they would not get spattered. The house looked wonderful when completed and they cleaned up and moved everything back just as it was. I would recommend Jacks Ever Green Painting to anyone.

We contacted Jack based on his reviews on Angies List, along with several others A businesses. Jack's bid was 30%-50% less than others while using Sherwin Williams "lifetime" paint (the most expensive) included in the overall bid. He was able to schedule us in at our preferred dates (we booked him a month in advance). The two people who primarily worked our single story rambler (approx 1500 sqft) were Cesar and Andrey. Both were punctual, professional and articulate. When we had concerns they would explain to us the "why" behind their recommendation and in some instances, would say "we see your point". They each worked a great deal on our house and are overall very nice people. The only reason for the B rating under responsiveness is that we called Jack a couple times to confirm we were on track. We were also told by Nick that he tried to contact us and that our scheduled date was in jeopardy and he would "try to fit us in" - we feel that we had to pull information and were not proactively communicated do before the job started. However, once the work began, things went smooth and efficient, starting and ending on schedule.

The experience with Jack's Evergreen Painting was excellent from the start to finish! I called and spoke with Jack initially. Andrey, his Assistant Manager, stopped by a couple of days after that to provide an estimate. He was very professional and knowledgeable and provided us with a very reasonable estimate. The job ended up beginning earlier than first scheduled which was great with us. Andrey showed up on time every day and worked long hours. He pressure washed the first day and then returned a couple of days later to continue the prep work. His work was neat, thorough, and very detailed. With the exception of a beautiful new paint job we can barely tell he was here. I simply can't say enough good things about Jack's Evergreen Painting! They were professional and punctual and were able to fit our job into their busy summer schedule, even working over the weekend to complete the job in a timely manner. We are pleased with the final result. There was a minor incident with some wallpaper that was torn and could not be replaced, but they removed the rest of it and refinished and painted the walls to our satisfaction.

An employee named Nick came to check my drywall. He was worried about asbestos, so he took a sample for testing. I think believe it tested positive, and Nick let me know that they wouldn’t be interested in taking on the work. When I proceeded to question Nick, he seemed to get very defensive. However, he did send me an email letting me know that they’d be more than happy to convert my coupon into a deal for pressure washing. I was happy with that solution, and they spent six hours pressure washing my home. I think they did a really good job with. Overall, I had a decent experience with this company.

jack's evergreen painting gave us the lowest estimate by far of all the companies we consulted with. they then gave us a start date for the services earlier than anticipated, and completed in less time than quoted by other companies. the standard of the work is unparalleled and frankly flawless. they also went above and beyond in painting the whole side of my house below the extension to ensure there would be no color blending issues with the paint. in short, i couldn't be happier with the services provided and shan't hesitate to use jack's evergreen painting for other jobs, or to recommend them to friends. huge thumbs-up.

While we were not impressed with the initial pressure washing job, when we called to talk through our concerns, they were professional and responsive and sent someone else out promptly to complete the job. The workers were friendly, punctual, and hard workers. They completed all the prep and painting work in three connsecutive days. The bid from this company was significantly cheaper than the two other bids we obtained. I think it was a great value for the work performed.

I am very impressed with Jack's Ever Green Painting. First off, Jack, himself stopped by initially to estimate the cost of the job. He was not only extremely friendly, but very honest. He recommended that I NOT do certain things, that would be a waste of money. I appreciated that (being a first time home-owner).He got me set up within a week or two for my exterior painting job.Virgil, Jack's painter showed up and unfortunately, got lost a couple times due to his GPS device getting stolen. Virgil had run into some bad luck, too, as the pressure washer had knocked out his back window of his truck.I felt like Virgil needed some help and reinforcement!Finally, a young man showed up an hour or so later to help him.Overall, I'm impressed with the job Virgil did. My deck looks brand-new. I feel like they put forth a lot of work in doing something I cannot do by myself without a husband and with 3 young kids.I appreciate Jack's and would definitely use them again.

I dont think I need to go into detail, usually when I hire someone there is usually something to complain about. Trash left or not showing up on the job. I have nothing but praise for Jacks evergreen painting.. In fact I told Virgil his long time employee I hope he pays you well because you are wonderful...

Very well. We had a couple of communication issues at the beginning (painting new gutters), but it was all worked out. The workers that actually did the painting and the clean up were wonderful and kept us informed when they were coming and going and the best way to access the house when things were being painted.

The paint job was fine, but the drywall repair is not good - doesn't look like they did anything at all. I can still see the crack that was supposed to be fixed. The painter told me that once the paint dried, I wouldn't see it. And besides, there were other lines in the ceiling where there were drywall joints, and I was being picky. I really don't care that there are other visible joint lines in the ceiling. I asked to have this one particular crack repaired, and I believe all he did was skim a bit of drywall compound over the crack (which I had already done anyways). It is just as visible as it was before the 'repair'. The painters did cover everything with plastic, so we didn't have to move alot of stuff out of the rooms being painted, and that was nice.

Jack was responsive in returning our call and his bid was about 2/3 of those of the other two companies we contacted (all of whom had equally good Angie's list ratings and used comparable materials and procedures.) Nick supervised the crew and was a delight to work with. When he was late even 15 minutes, he would call to explain. The whole job (prep and painting) took only two days and the cleanup was complete. Two places on the houses required a mud repair and that was painted as soon as it was dry. We were very happy with the result and have no complaints. We will definitely hire them again for interior painting we need done and will recommend them to our friends. The whole job cost about the same amount as when we "hired" our son in college to paint the house the last time, and he didn't give us a thank you gift!!

It went fine. They are reasonable on their estimate.

At the end of May, I called Jack Fecker, the owner of the Company, and made an appointment for an estimate to repaint our house and deck. Jack came out and looked at what needed to be done, calculated the amount of paint required, and provided a detailed written proposal and cost estimate before he left. The estimate was very reasonable (the cost listed above includes 9.5% state tax). We accepted the proposal that evening and agreed that the painting would be done in mid-July when the weather improved. The general manager, Nick Inlow, called to consult with us about the work schedule. The weekend before the work started, Nick came out with a few of the painters to review what needed to be done. From start to finish, I was impressed with the quality of the work, the careful attention to detail and the fact that my yard animals (squirrels, birds and bunnies) hardly noticed any change in their daily routine. All of the men who worked on the house were unobtrusive and accommodating. For example: I was concerned about not having any washings from paint brushes and rollers dumped on our property. Bruce, one of the painters, let everyone know that the washings were to be collected in a few containers, covered, and then taken away for disposal at the company. Virgil came out on a Sunday to caulk the chimney but decided that caulking wouldn't do the job and the better solution would be to seal the space around the chimney with wood trim. We found some two-by-fours in the garage and he sawed them on the spot. Although this added several hours to the job, Virgil stayed with it until it was done. We have an awning over the entrance to the front of the house which had to be taken down and replaced again after the painting was finished. The afternoon that the deck was to be painted, it started to rain and Bruce came back the next day to finish the job. That same evening, Jack came out to inspect the paint job and provide an invoice. The paint job was excellent and the house and deck look terrific. I highly recommend Jack's Ever Green Painting and would use them again without hesitation.

We learned aout Jack's EverGreen Painting from our brother-in-law who seemed who well satisfied. Jack Fecker, company owner, visited us personally and provided his estimate before leaving. He is very personable and professional. We also received bids from three other companies. Jack was $1000 lower than the next higher bid. The work was initiated promptly and completed in about 4 or 5 days not counting a rainy day. The work included replacing two rotted fascia boards which were included at a very reasonable cost. All in all we were well pleased although we were surprised that we received no written warranty. We would definitely recommend their service to others.

They did a very good job with all of the painting. They were also very clean, no drips or spills. One problem that did come up was that they used eggshell paint instead of flat. However, they corrected it and repainted the room at their expense. If doing a large project, I would suggest confirming the details with them along the way. Overall, we were very happy with the quality of their work and would use them again for interior or exterior painting projects in the future.

Overall we were very pleased with the result and happy with the professional service from our painter Andrey Stepanchuck. He was always on time, paid attention to detail, and went out of his way to ensure our paint job was completed with the best result.

The exterior paint on our house had begun to fail, so it was time to get the house painted. Jack called about 24 hours after we contacted his company to arrange a time to do an estimate. We liked his estimate the best as he outlined what would be done and for a very reasonable price. Once we accepted the estimate and got on his schedule, Jack's associate contacted us to schedule the painting earlier that we expected (yay!). The paint job was done over 4 days. This included pressure washing, scraping and sanding any bare wood, priming, masking and covering windows and gutters, and painting. Andre was very thourough. He even removed our address numbers so he could paint under them and painted the hatch to our crawl space. He also corrected mistakes made by the previous painter including making sure the body paint went on the main components of the house and that the trim paint went on the soffets, car port and front clapboards as appropriate. The previous painter had painted parts of the soffets and car port the wrong color. Also he removed the "over calking" and replaced it as necessary. He even called in more help so they could finish the paint job so we wouldn't spend more than one night with plastic covering our windows. Andre also did a great job cleaning up! We were all amused to see him vaccuming the lawn to make sure all the paint chips were removed. And there is very little paint on the shrubs. I was expecting more since the shrubs were planted too close to the house and even after we trimmed them they still caused some tight working places around the house. Overall Jack's EverGreen Painting did and excellent job in a short period of time. It's very nice to have a freshly painted house!
