Jack's Ever Green Painting

Wow, this was a great experience! Rick arrived on the dot for our appointment, laid down tarps to address the walking back and forth, got right to work, doing the drywall cuts, taping, mudding, and then retexturing the wall in anticipation of my painting it in the future. He went above expectations by the quality of resolution--the plumber had cut a hole just above the baseboard, so Rick removed the baseboard and rotten old material, then reinstalled the baseboard after the texturizing. He gave me painting tips and we had a great chat about the issues in quality construction today. He is an absolute artist and master craftsman, and I would use Jack's again in a heartbeat. In fact, I'm going to look around the house and consider what else they could do for us in the future. Very, very impressed. The work was entirely covered by the Angie's List deal I purchased, and therefor very reasonable.

Everything went well it was efficiently completed.

The gentleman - Primo - was here on time that morning. He got to work right away and continued until all the walls were stripped and clean, ready to paint. He worked hard and did a very nice job. We were very pleased. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks!

Provider (Jacks Ever Green Painting) met all my expectations for an "Angies LIst Big Deal" in coming to my home to repair two areas of drywall that were cut open to update the fuse box and grounding/bonding of the electrical system. Service was professional and punctual, workmanship was excellent. I would recommend this contractor to other homeowners.

A great experience. The workman arrived right on time and went to work right away. He worked for 8 hours taking only one short break. When he was finished he cleaned up everything. There was not even one little speck of paper left anywhere.

Had a great experience with Jack's team and I highly recommend them. They did phenomenal work and I absolutely plan to have them back for future work. A number of key things stood out: Quality: The quality was top notch. All of the cut lines are precise. The work they did on the tray ceiling in the dining room is amazing (removed wall paper, texturized, and painted). My wife and I still can't get over how amazing our home looks now. Preparation: The crew showed their dedication in ensuring the work areas were prepared and properly protected. This attention to detail really stood out and is appreciated. Cleanliness: As a product of their preparation, you can barely tell that there was anyone even in my house due to how well they cleaned up. There's not a spot of paint or garbage to be found. All of the furniture was put back in place. Punctuality: The crew (three workers) rang my doorbell precisely at 8am every morning as expected. I could always count on the work starting on time. Accuracy: The project came in on budget and on time. People: All three workers - Rene, Juan, and Jesus - were respectful, friendly, and took their job very seriously. I had no problem letting them have free reign over my home while I worked in my home office. This was our first time having contractors in our home for multiple days and Jack's team definitely set the bar very high. It was great. It didn't cost more than the big deal I purchased. It was nice. It was a very simple job. He did the job exactly the way I wanted it done. It was a very straightforward process. It's very high-quality. He was quick and he was responsive. He was nice. He did a great job. I don't have a single complaint.

"Primo" arrived promptly between 9-10 when appt was set up. He was courteous and did a perfect job. It was a very small room, but he took more than 6 hours without a break, and removed all the wallpaper. Even though it had been on for about 30 years the walls are so perfect, we can go ahead and use as is. I would use this company again, possibly for painting and would recommend them. A very good experience!

We had lots of extra work done, touch up chips and repaint. Rick was very attentive to covering and masking areas so there was no spillage or extra dust to clean up. We would use them again.

got the okay to include the drywall as part of the $125, instead of charging me the additional $30 for it. The technician swept up and took all of the old drywall pieces with him. This section is now ready for primer and new paint. While he was here, one of our neighbors in this condo building thought so highly of his professionalism that she took his company's phone number to get a bid for a bathroom remodel.

Work was good. Showed up promptly. Easy to work with scheduling-wise. Overall a positive experience.

We are CERTAINLY calling Jack's back. They were GREAT! So prompt, courteous, quick, through, couldn't ask for a better paint job. They said the job would take approximately 3-4 days, they were done in 2. All the rooms required two coats which they did beautifully. They always clarified which walls were which color prior to painting. No big deal, but there was one little faint blue mark of paint on part of our hardwood floor. It came up without any issues. I don't point this out because it's a complaint, I point it out because that was IT! That's the only spot or spill that was left. Last time I had painters they walked across my white carpets with dark blue paint on their size 10's. Jack's doesn't know it yet, but we're calling him back for an exterior paint job next spring. This job went SO smoothly I couldn't ask for a better experience. Go with Jack's, they're the best.

I bought the Big Deal of 8 hours work for $199. Within two days the company sent an e-mail confirming one of my three choices for the date of service. Juan arrived on time with the needed equipment and dressed for the job. He looked like a professional painter or paper hanger/stripper who knew his stuff. He went to work covering surfaces, moving plants and small appliances and helped me move the large pieces of furniture, then began stripping the old layers of painted over paper. I've stripped a lot of paper but gave up on this because of the damage I was doing to the drywall and the awkward places around kitchen corners, cupboards, windows, etc.. The previous owners did the same kind of damage in patches and obviously decided to cover it up with paint. Juan had a steamer and scraper and went to work. He did more in three hours than I did in three days. When he finished stripping the priority area, I brought out a large pail of joint compound and he went to work skim coating the walls to repair the gouges and smooth out the mess. He finished that in about three hours so I had him move on to another smaller section like the first. When he finished stripping, he went on to skim coat the needed repair. It took him a little past teh 8 hours, but he wanted to finish. When he did, he cleaned up the whole mess and left the kitchen in great shape. All that is left is for me to sand and paint in a couple of days.

Working with Jack's Ever Green Painting was a very positive experience. I highly recommend them for interior or exterior paint jobs. Andrey Stepanchuk was my liaison throughout the entire process, and he was very professional and provided excellent customer service. He always informative and responded to my voice mail and email questions promptly. The proposal estimate was at an appropriate level of detail, and they were sure to not go over budget. The crew always showed up on time and worked through the day. Additionally, they cleaned up very thoroughly at the end of each day. As a discerning consumer I had some very specifics requests. The paint on my garage doors was peeling off in many places, and I wanted to ensure that they properly prepped the doors before they began painting. The same was happening on some of the exterior door jambs as well as the chimney. Andrey and his crew were always willing to accommodate. After the first layer of paint was applied, I walked around with a crew member and pointed out areas that needed additional coats. They quickly fixed all areas that I identified. After the final layer of paint was applied, they did a final walk around with me to ensure that everything met my expectations. Some areas needed some final touch ups, and the team was once again happy to accommodate. The final paint job looks fantastic! It's the nicest looking house in the neighborhood in my humble opinion. I would definitely use Jack's again for any future painting needs.
