Jack's Ever Green Painting

Exceeded my expectations. Rick was courteous, friendly and thorough.

Overall, everything went great, and I'm really happy with the results. There were a few setbacks, some beyond the contractor's control (rainy/cold weather made it difficult for drywall mud & pain to dry quickly), some because they simply made a mistake (ordered the wrong paint color after writing down the wrong paint chip number). But they were great at fixing what needed to be fixed, and getting back on track. I felt there was a bit too much idle chatter and standing-around, and, at some points, bickering among the workers. So I wouldn't say they knocked it out of the park, but they came in on schedule and on budget, and my place looks really nice, so I'm happy.

These folks are fantastic. I've worked with a lot of painters, and I've never seen one do a better job. I called beforehand to be sure that they'd do everything I needed. André was very helpful and got back to me immediately. Rick showed up exactly on time, did the job efficiently and effectively and left in 90 minutes. The areas he worked in were spotless when he left. It would have taken me at least a half day to do it myself. He not only did the job, but he was a perfectionist and it showed in the work he did. I'd hire this company again in a heart beat.

After purchasing the Angie's List deal they called me within 24 hours to discuss and book my interior painting job. They showed up on time and took great care in prepping my bedrooms prior to painting. Both bedrooms had some very dark existing paint that they were able to cover up very well. They did a very nice job and I had them come back later to paint two more additional rooms.

The entire interior of my townhouse needed painting, upstairs and downstairs. Jack provided a very reasonable quote for the 3 1/2-day job, and I was happy he proposed and used zero VOC paint. It was easy to schedule the work at a time that worked best for me. On the first day, the manager took care to insure he and the crew knew which color was to be painted in each room. They were also careful to keep the carpets and furniture clean throughout the work, and cleaned up all the trash when the work was done. It was a hard-working and careful crew. They did a great job, finished in 3 days, and I was very happy with the results.

I called him with a question about a Big Deal on January 26 and left him a message. He didn't call me back until February 1. He left me a message stating he had been busy and that the deal was no longer available. I think waiting until the deal was over to contact me was not professional. I wouldn't use his company now because of the way I treated.

Jack, the owner, did the estimate. He is knowledgeable, experienced, polite and has a good sense of humor. His #1 employee and General Manager Andrey was also very professional. The helped us to decide on the final paint colors and even painted samples of the three colors on the side of our garage before they began so that we could see the colors first hand. They did look a bit different than in the brochure or on the paint company's website, so that was very useful. By the way, the colors you choose will look lighter on the house so keep that in mind. The preparation for the paint job which included pressure washing a week or so prior to painting, fresh calking around all the windows, which was badly needed and meticulously covering windows, deck etc. They scraped away blistered paint, patched up holes and cracks in the siding. The paining consisted of two coats and the cleanup job was impeccable. I can't say enough about this company. Everyone I came in contact with, including the painters, were professional, experienced, courteous and diligent workers. I will use them when it comes time to paint our home?s interior.

This service was FANTASTIC! It starts with Jack providing an impressive quote where he breaks down paint quantity and hours to complete. Once he saw everything, he quickly wrote up the quote on the spot. Jack really sets the tone for who you're hiring. The crew were very professional, provided great advice and worked really fast! The best part was the quality of work. The corners are fantastic. Objects were moved and returned to the original position without any issue. They were above and beyond to take care of imperfections/concerns that I had that were not part of the original estimate. As far as the price, these guys were easily the lowest we were quoted. Everything was completed on budget and in time. I'm already planning on calling these guys again for future projects.

The provider who came was very friendly and informative and willing to come back at a later date to do the work but I still have not had the work done so I lost the $125.00 I guess to Angies list.

Andre answered my call for the initial estimate. He was able to come out and assess within a few days and provided a very thorough explanation of how they would paint the walls. I was also interested in other types of touch-up painting, which he provided as part of the overall estimate. Andre was honest and gave me tips on how to save costs if we opted to go with the touch-up since this would be paid by the hour. On the day of the scheduled paint job, the crew of 2 were prompt and arrived 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment. Andre was also there to walk them through the details of the job and ensure that I had a good understanding of the steps they would take. He also noticed the clear silicone used on our granite (having just completed a remodel) and explained the potential impacts so we would not be surprised. The goal was to complete the job in 1 day, preventing the need to come back. They started immediately after the walk-through and worked diligently to finish everything - thoroughly - in that day. I was impressed! On top of that, they passed the cost of the painter discount/contractor rate to me, saving quite a bit on the primer and paint. I would highly recommend this painting company - honest, fair price (all explained up front, no surprises), excellent follow through and customer service.

Deal was for 4 hours drywall repair. Jack was easy to communicate with, was punctual and worked very efficiently to get even more areas repaired than I expected. We're very pleased with the results.

It took him all day, and he did a perfect job! Very difficult since it was paper with no backing and very thin. The walls looked amazing and very little bit of patching!

These guys were amazing! One of the houses on the property needed quite a bit of cleaning and prep work. The couple who live in it work nights. The crew were respectful of their need to sleep during the day time and accomplished the work quickly and quietly. The houses and the barn look new! The quality of the work and the people is outstanding. We plan on having them work on the inside of the main house this winter.

They did an excellent job, were very professional and helpful, and worked well with us. The work was done on time. Originally we wanted to paint the trim of the house the same color as the body of the house, but changed our minds and had them paint the trim a different color. They were very flexible and this was easily accomplished. I'd highly recommend them and I would hire them again.

It was a very smooth process. Two weeks before doing the painting they came to pressure wash the house. We have had bad experiences with this in the past (wood damage, water coming into the house, etc.) and discussed our concerns with Jack. He promised that he'd have his most experience person complete this and that we shouldn't see any of those issues. They did a great job with pressure washing. To be fair the exterior of our house was over due for a cleaning and places had moss, etc. They got 99% of everything off the house and did not damage the wood to any degree that I could see. When it came to the painting they had us pick out the colors. The lead person brought out one can of the main stain we were going to use and had us look at it as he was concerned it wouldn't be a good match for our house (looked different than sample). He was right we would have hated that. He suggested a deck stain product that can also be used on the whole house. It was a semi-solid color instead of semi-transparent. We had color variations between different parts of the house and wanted to try to get things to be more uniform. Anyway, it turned out great and we love the work that was done and they way our house looks now. It was a stress free experience (aside form the weather which was a little iffy, but turned out ok) and we feel like we got a good value.

This is our 3rd time using Jack's Evergreen Painting, and as always, they give exceptional service and high quality work at a great price. Our house siding is wood shingles so not an easy house to paint with all the crevices. We decided the white trim of the house was still bright and in good condition so we left that alone. They painted the body of the house a dark gray and carefully taped off all the trim and eaves. I expected some of the gray paint to spray onto the trim here and there but they did a fantastic job with the taping. The lines are super crisp and perfect. We've had other contractors for other jobs even comment on how well they painted. Their manager Andrey always has responded to my emails and phone calls quickly and he does a great job communicating with us and the employees so we always had a great result in the end. We felt the price was very fair and they took a total of 3 days for the job including pressure washing the house 2 weeks prior. We will continue to use them for projects at our house. Kitchen cabinets are next!

We are greatly pleased with the results and professionalism of Andrey and his crew. Andrey communicated with us through each step of the process, even when we were out of town. The painters went above and beyond, fixing a window sill and garage door frame which needed repair before painting. They also bought and installed new weatherstripping around the front door when it could not be removed without tearing. They took care to protect the landscaping and did great clean-up. They really did a beautiful job, with careful attention to detail - and at a very fair price. We highly recommend them, and will definitely use them again.

The rooms looked great. There were several picture hooks to fill in as well as other details but they were no problem for them. Enjoyed how prompt and clean they were with all of the set-up and prep as well as clean up. We will definitely hire them again.

Renee did fine work, but I wish I had known that the deal I purchased didn't include ceilings or trim work. I have never had a painter exclude them before so expected that they would be included. Luckily, I didn't need to change the trim color and they were in pretty good shape. Deal was $440 for two bedrooms, I paid an extra $100 to have tiny laundry room painted. Took painter about 6 hours to do all three rooms working alone with two coats in the bedrooms and one in the laundry room.

Showed up on time ready to go each day and did a great job even in this heat wave we are having!

Patched several holes throughout the house reinstalled towel racks and toilet paper holders. Very professional and worked efficiently to get the job done in the allotted time.

He arrived on time, did the work quickly. It looks great.

The date and cost of service listed are estimates because I can't find the paperwork. It's possible that Jack did the job as long ago as 2011 -- time flies! At any rate, our deck still looks almost as good as the day Jack's crew finished it. I have never had a deck paint job that lasted so well. We have really been pleased, and I wouldn't hesitate to call Jack back when our house needs a complete paint job.
