The workmanship throughout the project was inconsistent at best. Examples included: Sloppy drywall mudding that had to be redone. Gaps in trim work that were cut short and nailed in anyway. Caulking that was messy and clearly not watertight. The bathtub being damaged during installation that required repairs before it was even used due to demo work being done around the unprotected bathtub. Missing tile and incorrect estimates that caused delays. The tile work was subbed out and not done to expectations. They had to come back twice to address tile that was installed incorrectly or cracked. On the business side, we also encountered troubling practices. Tub Cove repeatedly pressed us for progress payments even though our contract clearly stated final payment was due upon completion. After we did pay in full, we learned their subcontractor (Alex) had not been paid for our job, despite the funds being in Tub Cove?s possession. This raised serious concerns about their financial management

We really appreciated working with TubCove. They did a beautiful job of bringing our outdated bathrooms to the 21st century. We'd originally planned to do the work ourselves but were glad we didn't. We wouldn't have been able to match the quality of workmanship and materials, which were much better than what you find in big box stores for the same price. Jim was so helpful and patient in helping us decide on a design and scope that we would be happy with, staying in close contact all along the way. Jeremiah was knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly easy to work with. The entire team was very clean, using booties and tarps, and cleaning up after they were done each day. With regard to Covid, they were very conscientious about wearing masks throughout the project. We would definitely use them again.

My husband and I recently had a tub-to-shower conversion done to accommodate my mother who just moved in with us. The shower turned out great and looks beautiful. Everyone we spoke to and worked with at Tub Cove was very courteous, helpful and professional, from the office manager to the owner Jim himself. The project needed to be done on a tight schedule because of my mother’s deteriorating health and I especially appreciate how accommodating they were of our situation. They were also extremely patient with all the detailed questions we asked and my indecisiveness over fixtures, door options, shower size, etc.. Jeff and Jeremiah both provided valuable, expert input into our choices and they and the other team members were an all-around pleasure to work with!

I will give this company an enthusiastic thumbs up! The team lead by Jeremiah were efficient, went about their there job in a responsible way. Of course there was a problem with structural damage done years ago, Jeremiah went the extra mile in helping to find a company to do those repairs in a timely manner. Once the structural repairs were completed Jeremiah & team worked around their other scheduled appointments to come and finish their work. As a single senior woman that has trouble trusting, I am impressed with Jeremiah & team, they are wonderful to work with. I have recommended them to my Condo association as a source for bathtub repair. It's a 40 year old complex, I imagine there are other units that need help. R.A. Porter

It went great! The choosing process was fairly simple because they specialize and don't have an overwhelming number of options. Plenty for our needs. We were provided an accurate estimate of the costs. The installation took two days and was painless. The installers were on time and very respectful. The results are exactly what we wanted. I also liked that is a locally owned company.

Tub Cove and their staff did a great job on upgrading our shower space after the existing tub cracked. Their staff provided thoughtful suggestions for how to improve the look and quality of the existing space and worked very hard to schedule the work in a timely manner. Even after the discovery of subfloor issues during the upgrade, Jim and the Tub Cove staff were very reponsive to make sure we could get the project done as soon as possible.

TubCove did a great job removing my old surround, fixing sheetrock, installing new plumbing valves/fixtures and new tub surround. They were very available, responsive and got the work done efficiently in time. Highly recommend!

It went really well. They scheduled me quickly after I called. Always showed up on time. Very professional - and careful about covid protections. The shower came out great and they installed 3 grab bars as well. It all looks really good. I would definitely recommend them.

Jim and his team were exceptional! I needed a tub replaced in my rental property. Unfortunately, I don't live in the same state as my rental. I called Tub Cove and started working with Jim. He was extremely professional and went above and beyond to explain things over the phone. He also went the extra mile to do a thorough inspection of my existing tub and surroundings, checking for any possible leaks and water damage. He even went the extra mile to walk down into my garage and check for possible water damage there. This was extremely helpful since I wasn't there in person. We were fit into the schedule within 2 weeks of our first conversion (and this was over the holidays, spanning across new years). The whole job only took 2 days. The teams that came in to do the replacement were professional and cleaned as they went. I would recommend Tub Cove 100% and would most definitely call on them again.

They did demo work, replaced old pipes, and installed a new surround and glass doors in a timely fashion. The finish is very good, the team was professional and did not leave a mess.

I wish I could recommend this company as there are some kind folks who work there. Unfortunately, the person who did our installation did not do a good job and did not clean up after the job was done. When he came out to fix the failed laminate, he apologized for not cleaning up after himself. But then when he was done, he asked me if he’d cleaned to my satisfaction — and argued with me when I pointed out the adhesive he’d dropped on the tub. He then accused “somebody” (i.e., my husband or me) of sabotaging his original work. The work involved removing ceramic tile. Not cleaning up meant that there were shards of ceramic left throughout our bathroom, foyer, and down the hall of my building. This was a safety hazard. Since the mess followed him out to the parking lot, I had to clean after him so that it did not cause injury to my neighbors or result in me getting a fine from my homeowner’s association. While the product itself has been fixed and looks fine, I did not appreciate having to clean up after the worker or dealing with his unprofessional interactions—especially since I’d expressed reservations about having the same person come back to repair. I shared my concerns of the second visit and asked for consideration of my time in the final bill on 4/9/18. Shelley at TubCove agreed the behavior was unacceptable and that she would forward my concerns to the company owner in Arizona. I have yet to receive a response but will update this review should I hear back.

Outstanding! Scott provided a thorough explanation of the work and time required, and timely estimate. Several days later he expertly installed the safety grab bar. He was professional, on time and very easy to work with. I highly recommend TUB COVE and would definitely use them again.

Installer arrived on time, was friendly and courteous. He put it new faucet/ handle for me. He did accidentally drop a tool and chipped our tub, but the office manager called me right away after it happened and set me up with someone to fix the chip. Accidents can happen and I was happy with how quickly they resolved it. New surround looks great!

Took three half days for entire project.  Technicians arrived on time each day,were very professional, cleaned up after each segment.  The walk-in shower is a beautiful, professional piece of work.  Superior customer service from office staff and technicians.

They got the job done, but it wasn't as easy as I had hoped for.
Price: $1,400 for a basic shower pan and 3 hours of labor, with some snags to the job wasn't a good value for the price. I'm not sure I could have found a better rate/service elsewhere, though, but I didn't do a lot of price comparison for this job. 
Quality: The valve was slightly off with the finished depth of my wall after it was tiled, and the shower pan was shimmed and leveled somewhat poorly, causing a squeaky pan when you stand in certain spots. Its do-able for a basement shower, but its not great. 
Responsiveness/Punctuality: The day the pan was to be installed, I was notified that their only plumber had called in sick. I can understand this - employees need sick time. Unfortunately, the company didn't have any other plumbers available to do the job. After trading phone calls and pressing the issue, I was told the plumber would call me directly to confirm his availability for the next day. Finally, after 5pm, I received a call and he suggested he could come do the job that evening. Throughout the scheduling issue, the office gal was very responsive and certainly did her best when I expressed my need to get the pan installed on a tight timeline.  Its worth saying I was a tough customer because I had a tight timeline, though I was very clear about this when they agreed to do the job. 
Professionalism:  The low mark is really for the owner, and not for the office staff or plumber. Build backup plans into your business so you can follow through on scheduled jobs.

When we bought the condo, we knew there was a crack in the shower base. When it became apparent that we could not easily repair this crack, on the advice of the plumber who first looked at the shower, we contacted Tub Cove. We quickly got an estimate and a firm date for installation. The installation was done on time and very professionally. We could not be happier with everyone with whom we dealt at Tub Cove.

All went well with Tub Cove.  The installation was done in a very fast (1.5 days) but professional manner  Scheduling the job went well, we received assistance with the color choice, and the technicians handled a very difficult job.  Our previous tile wall had leaked so we had rotten studs inside the wall. Tub Cove was very familiar with the situation, so they came prepared to replace the studs and shower fixtures  We're extremely happy with the one-piece laminate tub surround, it looks like faux-marble !  Part of the cost of this job was due to the extensive decay and rot in our walls, but Tub Cove repaired all of it !
