Initially it went well--spent time on here filling out items on Angies.....then Angie's set out the bid process.....BathFitters responded and showed up First (thank you) -- but Sears....?? Initially I was leery because on the national news we keep hearing Sears is going out of business...but I have proof via cell phone bills, that I spent 1/2 hour on the phone giving very detailed information as to what we wanted....and they confirmed the appointment not once, not twice, but 4 times with the last one being 6 pm the night before--- I was told BOTH me and my husband MUST be present at the appointment. I told them this is a rental -- and it is far away from where we live.......we took 3 hours off work / both of us 50 minutes to get there and another hour waiting around and another 70 minutes in rush hour traffic back home after they STOOD US UP!!! with NO PHONE CALL!! ..... Christopher Caicedo according to my Email says HE was to be my in-home consultant. The appointment was to be between 6 and 6:30 pm on June 19th. After already confirming 3 times, the night before "someone" called to confirm at 6pm--it was my birthday, I had company and didn't want to talk and answer a lot of questions AGAIN as we have been over and over and over this already with multiple people..........ok so it's set...we are there waiting and waiting...seeing this is a gated community and I am at the unit and husband is at gate.....I call Sears...the guy on phone says he sees the appointment and sees the 3 calls and yes, someone is "supposed" to be at our place "right now" and for US to continue to wait!!!...he puts me on hold and tries calling.......he comes back on the phone and says he can't get ahold of the guy........ I ask him to try again seeing two peoples time / 3 hours each has just been wasted and I am not happy AT ALL..... you at the very minimum Sears need to call your customers not stand them up!!!!!!! The agent agreed put me back on hold and called and emailed this joker...then I asked the question" Are these sub-contractors? or Employees of Sears?" Answer: Employees of Sears...... but? . No one ever came..... we went home..... no one ever called or even bothered to follow up! So " I" decided to call as you are not going to just waste two people's time and our money like that...they put me through to the "office" and the person I talked to said his name was Christopher..... (same as the photo and the name that is in my email Christopher Caicedo along with my job ref # ) I tell him the story and ask him " didn't I talk to you at 6pm last night? " Answer" No ............. ok, well I talked to someone who confirmed!!! .. His answer? No apology...what he said was, and I quote " You know how businesses run 95% of the time, well? and there is this 5% ... well, you fell into the 5%" ....... apparently that was Mr. Caicedo's "version" of some sort of apology. He proceeds to tell me that HE called the Call Center.....but the Call Center didnt' call me.......um...you HAVE my number---you called ME last night!!!!! for pete sakes!!!!!! So I hang up from that call---not happy---- you see Christopher made a fatal determination call...... originally we were looking to do an enclosure like...BathFitter...over our existing......but when we got on the phone the night before during my birthday party....with company.... he tells me that even though I have gone through this 3 times with 3 previous callers telling me that YES THEY DO BATH ENCLOSURES/BATH TUB OVERLAYS...he says No we do not....so...ok then.... come and give us a quote to take out the tum and replace it and the tile work...............Christopher? You unilaterally decided that we were not going to be a client........but funny enough? that is exactly what we are going to be doing...so BAD ON YOU!!!!!!!!! Then? their auto-computer dialing kept calling me to "RE-schedule" and I just kept hanging up....except it kept calling and calling 3 times a day... so I finally got a human at the call center on the phone..... who said to me " They didn't show up because they couldn't reach you" >>>>. LOL!!!!! Lies! now....now that's just flat out someone trying to "save face" and not admit that they totally screwed up!! Funny that all the previous phone calls when through because the phone is 24/7 with answering machine and nope no missed calls, no unanswered calls...and we were AT the unit so we didn't "miss" him being outside either. Now, when you start telling your potential customer LIES -- you will never get my business..... RUN people... RUN AWAY from this guy : Copied directly from my email ...
