Moses responded to our Home Advisor search immediately and promptly came out to give us a reasonable estimate. The job was to remove a very large cedar that had suddenly developed a scary crack and was threatening to fall onto our driveway. His team was well-equipped and experienced to handle this project. They patiently negotiated our rather challenging curvy driveway with their large equipment. With their bucket truck, without climbing this hazardous tree, they were able to reach quite high up, so they lowered the top and other branches carefully, thus avoiding damage to the driveway, other landscaping,, and sprinkler system. They also brought a chipper, so there was a perfect cleanup. In the past 10 years we have had to remove several large trees on our property. NW Tree Surgeons was by far the best experience. I am sure we will call upon Moses and his team again.

Moises, the estimator, responded to my emailed questions within 24 hrs and came out the next day. The work was done while we were on vacation and was exactly what we ask for.

Very professional and rapid service. Responsive to customer needs. Only issue was other companies offered to grind stump lower than these guys did; however, it looks great.

After receiving extremely high bids from a number of companies, NW tree Surgeons gave me a very reasonable bid for removing my 5 large, 100 to 130 foot fir trees. The trees were in the front side and back of my home. Some were within 10 feet of my home and had huge limbs hanging over my roof. The crews arrived on time. The owner, Marcos Moises and his son Milton have great crews who work hard, know what they are doing and get along well. The crews are very professional and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing and took pride in their work. They set up a zip-line to get tree limbs from the back trees over the roof to the chipper out on the street in front. I really enjoyed watching them work. They completed the job on time and did not damage anything. They cut rounds for firewood and cleaned up well. Stump grinding is even included in the contract. They did a great job, on time at a reasonable price. No negatives, I have recommended them highly to friends and neighbors and would hire them again with no reservations. Really good company!

They showed up on time to give me an estimate which is so unusual in my experience. They were very professional, gave great suggestions for future jobs I might want done and the actual shrub removal was done with minimal disturbance to any surrounding areas which I had strongly stressed. I got their cards to give out at work because I was so thrilled with their job!!!

They came later than we were told, but after a couple phone calls, we knew the new arrival time. The guys did what we wanted, and the trees were down right where we wanted them. They were here much longer than we were told it would take. I think the time estimate was way off, but it all got done, and we would hire them again.

On time, friendly and professional

These guys started out doing a good job, but I had two problems. (1) they cut off a stump that was too big to split. It was a giant round left in my front yard. I couldn't do anything with it. I had to ask them repeatedly to cut it in half (so I could split it). They finally came back and cut it twice ... the LONG way. Now I have four pieces that are too long to split. I had to get someone else with a chainsaw to cut each in half just so I could move it. (2) They overcharged me about $100. I asked them to return it and they REFUSED!! THESE GUYS DON'T HONOR THEIR CONTRACTS!!!

They were quick to get back to me, courteous, and did a great job!

Very difficult to get them to trim my hedge properly. I know it is not an easy job but I've had it done correctly the last 8 years by a different company for less money. Also, the clean up was not through.

Abstract: this company's workers are untrained. They do not know what type plants are and treat them all the same. They damaged my plants and some will not recover. The owner did not follow up regarding my complaints. They were able to remove trees and clear a hillside as requested. Their customer service rep came by to give me a bid on trees I wanted removed. he offered to trim the shrubs and trees in the yard. I asked if that mean round balls/bubbles. He laughed and said no. That an arborist would trim them in the way they needed to be trimmed. No bubbles. He set a day with me and I paid the downpayment they requested. I took the day off that the rep had given me, but by 10am no one had shown up. I called. They had rescheduled the day without notifying me. The owner called me back and rescheduled for friday (another day I could be home). the crew showed up on friday. I again spoke to them about not trimming the trees and shrubs in balls/bubbles. They began working. They immediately began trimming everything as a ball. I walked out and asked them to stop trimming the stuff in the yard and I would pay for what they had already done. The gentleman trimming the trees said he could trim them in an open more natural style. He continued to trim the trees. They finished the work on the trees I'd asked to be cut down and did that well. They still requested the full amount even though they hadn't trimmed all the shrubs. After they left an I went to inspect the work is when I realized they had NO clue how to trim plants or even what most of them were. The peonies were in bloom. They had cut all the blooms off across the top as if it was a shrub. The blueberries were just coming on with fruit. They trimmed all the berries off the bushes. The fig tree had fruit on it. They trimmed the fruit off the fig. The bee balm was sheered off across the top like a shrub. It only comes back from the seeds produced by the flowers, which there will be none of now. I WOULD NEVER ASK THIS COMPANY TO DO WORK FOR ME AGAIN. The owner hasn't trained his crew and they should not be cutting ornamental or other trees and shrubs.
