I emailed Integrity Lawn Service the morning of April 18th for a free estimate for dethatching and aeration. Mark the owner called me sometime in the evening at 8:01pm.I missed his phone call and couldn't call back until the morning of April 19th @ 9:34am. I left a message indicating that I would like him to stop by sometime that day to give me an estimate which I appreciated. He arrived around 3pm to give an estimate. He seemed concerned because I had already applied moss control, but missed some areas. He said normally they would charge $200, but since they have to "go behind me" they would need to charge me $250. I'm assuming that meant they would apply moss killer and then come back to do the rest of the work? But, didn't really explain what that meant. He took a look around and got out his dethatching machine and started dethatching my lawn to see if he could bring up the moss, but did not ask if he could do this and left the mess on my sidewalk, but picked up the clumps he made on my lawn. He said that he didn't think that just dethatching would help and that more moss killer would need to be put down which is fine. I told him I got a quote from another company that said that they would charge $80 just for the dethatching and he said "you get what you pay for." I made no indication that I was going with this other company and wanted to know what the $250 price would pay for (i.e. dethatching, aeration, take the waste to the dump or if I had to do this myself, I never was able to ask this last question). I was trying to understand what needed to be done to improve my lawn. Once I told him him about the other company he said he is "slammed" and would be booked up for "1 to 2 weeks" and started putting away is equipment. Although I was not finished indicating my concerns and had more questions. He no longer seemed interested and seemed to be in a rush to leave. Maybe he wasn't in a rush, but that is what it felt like. Since he was no longer interested I was no longer interested either. I would not use his service again despite the free estimate. -Shina White (Wife of Jordan White Angie's List Member) Note: When he left he asked me where I learned of his services and I said I saw his truck. I normally would use Angie's List to find a company but he had no reviews listed so this was not the reason why I chose his service.
Description of Work: Mark the owner of of Integrity Lawn Service provided an estimate for aeration, dethatching, lime application, moss control, and fertilizing. I only asked for aeration and dethatching.
