When they quoted us, we had some honey bees in the trees lining the street and some yellow jackets flying around the honey bees. This was a condition we had inspected by a pest control company several times while we were trying to sell our house, and they did not find a nest present on the property. I had been mowing the yard without problem, but when we moved, and Barefoot Lawn started mowing, they immediately said we had a hive on the property, and recommended a pest control service. Since we had just had a service inspect the property a day earlier, we did not have their service come out. They said they couldn't continue mowing our lawn, which left us in a lurch since we had already moved. The fact that they required a six week contract with an extra payment for fertilizing up front and then they cancelled the contract without refund along with the suspicious referral to another company for more services leads me to not recommend working with this company again in the future.

After your decision to cancel, we charged you for the 4 services we had provided and honored our 15% off of Fertilizer Angie's List deal. All of our Maintenance customers agree to our 6 weekly visits and 1 Fertilizer Application minimum, and we're sorry to hear that our helpful intentions and policy came off as suspicious. They've always done a really good job and if I had any problems, they address it right away. I have been very happy with them so there's no need to change.

I've used Barefoot for at least the last 3 years, and have always been impressed with the speed and thoroughness of their work. It's always been a pleasure to come home to a nice lawn without dedicating my weekends to it.

They do a great job. They even learned how to put our barricade back up to keep our escape artist dog in. We have been happy customers for at least ten years. The cost below is an average over the entire year as some months are more expensive because of the summer months. They provide extra services during the summer, fertilize moss control and perimeter pest control.

They come last Tuesday to mow the lawn and they'll come back today to do another lawn service. We've gone through 3 lawn service. They listen to your concern, they work on fixing it. The two guys that always come are very professional. We have the best yard in the neighborhood.

Our height of cut for grass is 2 3/4" for all of our customers; through his years of working with grass, Kirk has found that this is the optimal height. We're pretty happy with them, they do a pretty good job, mowing is great, and they are also fertilizing. I had spoken with them because I wanted it a little bit greener than what they are doing but overall I would recommend them. They're afraid to do too much in the summer I guess. They do a really great job mowing it evenly and edging, and cleaning up after that, even if it's raining. They are really reliable that way. The lawn mowing I would give an "A", but the fertilizing part, which they kind of require you to do a whole package, so some people might not like that. They won't just do the lawn mowing. The price is quite reasonable.

I needed lawn service as I was going out of town for a couple weeks. Called several companies in town, and Barefoot came out and gave me an estimate THAT DAY. The only thing I didn't like is that I only needed service for two weeks, but they have a six week minimum contract. It was pricey but they did a great job.

They come in every week for my regular weekly cutting. Their price varies depending on what services they offer. For example, last month they power washed my driveway and the monthly bill was $500 but normally the cost would be $230 to $250. They mow every week in the summer time. They also do pesticide around the perimeter of my house. They do fertilizing and any kind of lawn service that I want to select from what they offer. I have had them since the year 2003 and there is nothing about them that I dislike. They are a family owned local company and they are very good. The owner comes right out and takes care of things whenever there is an issue which is not too often. They are very professional.
